Feature extraction is an important bloc to obtain a reliable classification accuracy of motor imagery tasks. Common spatial patterns (CSP) is a frequently used algorithm for EEG feature extraction, but its performance relies on the subject-specific frequency band. This paper shows the powerful effect of CSP in discrimination between two classes of motor imagery (left and right hand). Using projected training data on CSP this study demonstrates that subject-specific frequency bands can easily be determined. Their functions have also gradually increased. In response to the growing and persistent demand for command and control testing, which requires more test time, resulting in a gradual increase in the cost of testing. Software In the Loop (SIL) simulation can save test time, reduce development costs, and prevent security risks. In this context, this paper describes a Software In the Loop simulation dedicated to the speed control of the reaction wheel used in the attitude control of nanosatellites. Routing topology consists of defining the routes for each sensor towards the BS. Clustering have been used to centralize data collection and transmission and showed remarkable improvement compared to directs schemes. In large monitored areas, and in order to avoid excessive CH's energy consumption, Multi-hop communication is used to route data to the BS. In this paper, we transformed the routing problem to an optimization problem proposing a PSO-based routing process taking into consideration the distance of transmission and the residual energy of CHs to optimize the overall routes to the BS. Based on a new fitness function, we managed to guarantee less traveled distance and the reliability of links, avoiding CHs death during process by relaying on residual energies as a factor to select routes. Among all the types of protocol that exist for MANET networks, geographical based protocols are particularly interesting to implement on devices which already have a mean to know their geographical position. In this work, we propose an implementation of a geographical based routing protocol for a smartphone software platform. This implementation has been done on the Android platform and is based on the Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing protocol (GPSR) and the Wi-Fi Direct technology. Furthermore, this implementation is made to be used directly by an application developer without the need of modifying the Android system by manipulations such as rooting. This work presents a multi-objective optimization approach of such structure. The goal is to support engineers in the preliminary design phase by minimizing the weight and the capacity factor (defined as the ratio of the maximum design stress to the maximum allowable stress), while maintaining the required strength, stability and meeting the requirements of the appropriate international standards. The developed tool uses Genetic Algorithm and is implemented in Scilab open source software. The main objective of this work is to investigate the detection quality of this detector, notably the efficiency and sensitivity of detection; the neutron/gamma discrimination capability; and the counting stability over time. The mechanical parts will be assembled in a machine with other components, and therefore there will be holes for screws, grooves etc… These parts must have a precise shape. If the machining and drilling are not done in the right place or with a small dimensional error in this case the assembly process cannot be completed. The manuel inspection is cumbersome and the efficiency is low. To overcome this problem, the non-contact defect detection process is the subject of this research. We proposed a real-time measurement technique using edge detection, dilation and erosion algorithms to remove noise and enhance the collected part image to make the information clearer, then compare it with the perfect model. This technique uses the OpenCV library and a Raspberry Pi 4 board. Conventional decks are cast on site which involves closing down roads and / or deviating traffic and making detours which causes a lot of problems for road users over long periods of time. Using precast concrete slabs is a good alternative to the above, because the road closing time would be significantly reduced because slabs are fabricated in precast plant instead of on site. In this context a new type of steel-concrete shear connection is developed, known as connections by adherence, whose resistance is due to friction between various interfaces. The role of these connections is to minimize erection time considerably, and can consequently be used, for example, when replacing existing bridge decks, where the duration of on-site works has a significant influence on costs and traffic perturbations. The main objective of the paper is to verify this new connection, by developing a numerical model that explains the experimental results of a research carried out in the EPFL Steel Structures Laboratory (ICOM) in the interface formed by the cement grouts and the steel. To achieve this objective, in the beginning, we have conserved the same calculation hypotheses already studied by the laboratory, such as; the geometrical specifications and the mechanical characteristics of the embossed Steel and the Cement.
