The final purpose for that is to optimize controllers' gain and thus improve the systems' robustness and stability. In this article, we focus on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm in order to tune DFIG's parameters; Firstly, a state of art is addressed for articles that have dealt with both PSO and Super-Twisting (ST) algorithms applied on the DFIG based Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS). Secondly, a study is conducted on modeling, simulation and control of the DFIG based WECS using ST and PSO algorithms in order to control active and reactive powers. During the last few decades, most of the research in sentiment analysis has concentrated on textual sentiment analysis, which has been accomplished through text mining techniques. Audio sentiment analysis, on the other hand, is still in its infancy and started to attract the scientific community. In this paper, we use the XD-Violence dataset to develop a multimodal learning model that predicts crimes by incorporating both audio and text modalities into the same model. As an initial step, we benchmark the dataset on audio using CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) and RNN (Recurrent Neural Network) before moving on to text using BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers). It be caused by social, emotional, technical, cognitive, or metacognitive reasons. Addressing these individual factors that motivate learners to continue or to drop out is at the heart of cognitive theories. This paper is a mixed-methods study that attempts to examine the phenomenon of persistence and its correlation with learning practices implemented in distance learning. Learners in the ESTEEM program “Energizing Science Technology Engineering Mathematics Teachers Through English Exploration in Morocco” constitute the sample of this case study. The purpose of this study is to understand to what extent the motivational profile of learners can influence the success of a blended learning? And what impact autonomy has on the learner's decision to persist or to drop out of a blended learning experience? The results show that most learners who have completed the course have a high degree of autonomy. Learners must then develop this skill. This regulation evolves regularly with the organization every three or four years of a World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to revise the radio regulations in the light of technological advances. From 1959 to 2019, the regulation of space radiocommunications has undergone several revisions through the seventeen (17) WRCs organized by the ITU. Several scientific articles have been devoted to WRC decisions but do not describe the evolution of space radiocommunication regulations. The purpose of this paper is to review the historical research of the major evolutions in space radiocommunication regulations from 1959 to the present. The research for this paper was mainly based on the documents in the ITU digital library, which is available online. For people who are hard of hearing (deaf or/and mute) sign language is the means of their communication. Nonetheless, many people are still unaware of sign languages, resulting in a communication gap. To improve communication between deaf-mutes and the hearing majority, this paper proposes an ASL (American Sign Language) detection system for 26 alphabets and three assisted signs, which can detect ASL captured by a standard computer camera, then generate an automatic text. SSD-MobileNet is used as the object detection model. With the Internet and the Cloud Computing environment, nearly any system can be established and turned smarter. Regardless of their size or form, all IoT devices need processing, security, sensing, and actuation to work successfully; yet, there are currently no IoT-specific security standards. Users and IoT devices security are often neglected by IoT product designers and manufacturers. The functionality of some IoT devices may also be manipulated or handicapped by malicious actors, causing infected IoT devices to behave differently when it comes to defending against these attacks, as well as being a part of these attacks. Four approaches can be adopted to achieve this goal: Prescriptive train evacuation requirements, hand calculations, experimental fire drills and evacuation computer models. While several review papers have been published in recent years dedicated to fire evacuation from buildings, the literature review revealed only a few studies that put particular attention on passenger train evacuation. Furthermore, no study has been conducted that covers all of the methods used to estimate emergency evacuation times for rolling stock, as well as the benefits and limitations of each method. Hence, the importance of this present paper. Firstly, this research presents an overview of the major definitions of the different components of evacuation time. Then, a review of recent literature on the research methods used for evacuation time calculations. Finally, the limits of each approach are discussed in this paper. Therefore, there is a dire need, as a particular challenge, to model and develop a generic architecture that should integrate into particular features of adaptive e-learning in a single model. This latter aims at making the system more efficient and helpful to learners to advance and complete their learning courses successfully while exploiting the traceability and history of the activities taught. The data related to each learner and the trainer was also exploited to predict the optimal and automatic choice of the learning path to be taken. Today, this challenge is now possible thanks to the rapid evolution of Information and Communication Technologies for Education (ICTE), where a new concept of the Internet has emerged under the name Internet of Things (IoT). This has allowed the development and exploitation of the concept of “intelligent environments” in an educational process, considering the specific aspects of this process (face-to-face education, virtual education, self-training, etc.), into a single model. Thus, algorithms of classification have the main role in the assessment of this neurodegenerative disorder. In this paper, we focus on the analysis and the evaluation of nine Machine Learning Algorithms (MLA), namely Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression, Discriminant Analysis, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Decision tree, Random Forest, Bagging tree, Naïve Bayes, and AdaBoost. Classification algorithms were applied to a Parkinson's dataset of 240 speech measurements with 44 features using several evaluation parameters to establish the efficiency score of each classifier.
