Abstract

This work presents a sliding mode control technique applied to the wind energy conversion system equipped with a doubly fed induction generator. The objective is to apply this nonlinear control to control the exchange of the active and reactive powers generated by the asynchronous machine with the network by acting on the rotor signals via a bidirectional converter. The performances of the system were tested by simulation in terms of follow-up of instructions, and the robustness vis-à-vis the parametric variations of the doubly fed induction generator
