Abstract
Fluorite is an important mineral used mainly to produce hydrofluoric acid. This mineral requires flotation valorization. To improve this technique, it is so important to understand its adsorption physicochemical mechanism involved. Therefore, the objective of this work is to investigate an experimental study of tannic acid adsorption on fluorite surface. Obtained results allowed firstly to achieve optimal particle size. These results were then exploited to determine tannic acid adsorption mechanism onto fluorite by isotherm modelling.
