This prompted research on teaching materials for calculating the area of a simple flat shape and calculating the volume of a cube through the use of media to improve learning outcomes in class V of SDN No 15 Segedong. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of mathematics through the use of media for geometric shapes and flat shapes in calculating the area of simple flat shapes and the volume of cubes and blocks in fifth grade students of SDN No 15 Segedong, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan. The research is based on classroom action research (PTK) through the stages of observation, field observation and evaluation. This research method is qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the problems in this study are due to changes in the pattern of education from being face-to-face at school to learning at home online. This indirectly restores the function of parents as the main foundation of character education for students, so it is very important the role of parents in accompanying children to study online at home so that appropriate disciplined characters are needed according to student needs. Of the 10 fourth grade students at SD Negeri Tamansari 03, Tlogowungu District, 6 students applied permissive discipline, 4 students applied democratic discipline, and fourth grade students did not apply authoritarian discipline. This research is a quantitative research with Pre-Experiment Designs in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Designs. This research was carried out in the fourth grade of SDN 01 Tambirejo, Grobogan Regency in the 2020/2021 academic year during September 2021. The sampling technique used the Probability Sampling technique, so that the fourth grade consisted of 20 students as the experimental class and the fourth grade consisted of 20 students as the control class. The data from this research are in the form of student learning outcomes obtained by using pretest-posttest questions. Based on the research data, the average value of the experimental class (pretest) was 69.3 students who achieved 60% completeness and the average score (posttest) was 75.7 students who achieved 100% completeness. the increase of students in achieving completeness is 40%. From the research data = 9,669 while = 2.042 (dk = 38). Thus > (9,669 > 2.042). This research was descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques: observation, interview, and documentation. The informants in this study were wight people, including one principal, four teachers, and three students. The results showed that the evaluation results of distance learning through the model (context, input, process, and product) were less effective. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of thematic learning video media, especially for grade 3 students. The results of the analysis show that the principal provides periodic evaluations with the teacher on the implementation of learning using thematic learning video media. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used is the interview method, and the questionnaire method (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used is to analyze research data, with qualitative analysis to determine the development of children's behavior using smartphones with high intensity during the pandemic. The results showed that the behavioral development of elementary school children in Puguh Village, Boja District who used smartphones with high intensity during the pandemic period was not good, as well as the moral development of children because children had poor manners when talking to older people. In the development of religion, children often delay worship activities. Social development, children spend a lot of time at home playing with smartphones so that their interaction with the community is reduced. The instruments used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation, the subjects of this study were fifth grade students consisting of 16 male students and 9 female students, class teachers and parents of fifth grade students at SD N 02 Jolotigo, Talun District, Pekalongan Regency. The results of the interview with the fifth grade teacher found that there were problems with learning outcomes, especially mathematics. This study aims to determine how the parenting style of the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade. The results showed that there are three aspects of parenting skills that have not been mastered on the indicators of authoritarian parenting. Parents give full freedom for children to behave aggressively. Permissive parenting, parents do not pay attention to the interests/needs of children. Authoritative parenting, parents require children to meet high standards of responsibility to the family. Based on the results it was concluded that parenting patterns were good, this can be seen from the results of interviews where 85% had filled out well.
