The data mining method has good adaptability to new attack types; however, it consumes much time for high dimensional data. Therefore, the system needs a reduction of that high dimension. In this paper, we use a correlation approach of the attribute to evaluate those high dimensional data. To achieve a better environment, we propose a cut-off value of correlation to select some best features to use in the classification process. The best cut-off value in our experiment is 0.2 in RF classification that reaches 99.36% accuracy. The selection feature can reduce the time consumed in the running system.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"339 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115885975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on these problems, we propose a k-means algorithm for clustering home industry data. The k-means algorithm is widely used because it is straightforward and very suitable for grouping data. However, in its application, the k-means algorithm has a weakness in determining the starting point of the cluster center and, in its selection, is still carried out randomly. As a result, if the random value for initializing the initial centroid value is not right, then the grouping is less than optimal. Internal cluster validation is one way to determine the optimal cluster without knowing prior information from the data. This study aims to identify the optimal group by making improvements to the k-means algorithm and then to test it by applying an internal cluster, namely the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) and the Silhouette Index (SI) on the data of home industry in Bangka Belitung Island Province. The optimal cluster calculation results based on internal cluster validation both show that the Silhouette index and the DBI index with k = 3 on improved k-means algorithm. While the traditional k-means algorithm of internal cluster validation both show that the Silhouette index and the Davies-Bouldin Index with k = 2. The conclusion is k = 3 on the Davies-Bouldin Index of this research data gives good results for clustering home industry data in Bangka Belitung Islands Province.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126695917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is high data rates that can deliver smooth high definition streaming in mobility. There have been so many efforts to increase throughput per user. The Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MMIMO) is one of the technology enablers in 5G. However, implementing MMIMO requires a large number of antennas and costly Radio Frequency (RF) chains as well. To reduce the large number of RF chains, the beamforming technique can be considered. This paper proposes hybrid beamforming using a Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). We put the DCT matrix in front of RF chain. Moreover, the transmitted signals may experience correlation due to adjacent antenna spacing that can deteriorate the capacity. Hence, we propose an antenna selection to maintain the capacity. We conduct simulations over a thousand number of channel realizations. We show that the capacity increases by using DCT rather than DFT. Furthermore, the antenna selection performs well over the random selection.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121577214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design of this inverter applied the Third Harmonic Injector Pulse Width Modulation (THIPWM) method which was implanted into the Arduino Uno microcontroller to increase the inverter performance by forming the reference signal using the sum of sinusoidal (fundamental) waves with the third harmonic wave. The simulation using PSIM software indicated that with DC voltage input of 267 Volts, the THIPWM method inverter, after passing through the LC filter, AC voltage of 221 Volts could be produced, which could theoretically be implemented. The result of the implementation test showed that the system could only load up to 40 watts, because if the system was loaded with more than 40 watts, the inverter voltage source of the quadratic boost converter would decrease and could not reach 267 Volt and the measurement value of inverter output voltage, according to calculation, had a maximum error of 3.12 percent in every load change.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130575258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, speed information is needed so that the speed sensor is installed. However, the installation of the speed sensor has limited resolution and treatment. Thus, it began to develop a method regarding the control system without a sensorless speed sensor using the Observer method. The observer only uses information from the current. Expected in the application of servo motors DC system has never experienced interference. However, interference can occur suddenly, which may affect the course of a system. Interference that can occur on the DC motor is the influence of load torque. The influence of load torque can result in errors. Therefore, the control system is necessary to tolerate errors. The control system is known as fault-tolerant control (FTC). Modeling of DC motor plant is carried out using parametric system identification that is retrieving measurement data using the MS150 DC servo circuit block diagram. The selected controller is the state feedback with the integrator. Adding integrators is useful for reducing steady-state errors. The FTC design requires the use of an extended state observer. While to estimate speed only requires observer without any result estimation errors. Based on the results of the research using the Observer method, it results in actual DC motor speed following the results of speed estimation. For FTC application in the event of load torque in real can maintain the performance of the system is evidenced by the maximum undershoot is 3.04%, the error steady-state and settling time is 2.4% and 6477 ms respectively.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134084418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, due to the shared spectrum concept, interference has become the main problem. An appropriate spectrum or resource allocation to mitigate the interference is therefore essential to tackle the problem. In this research, a modified firefly optimization algorithm has been proposed for optimal resource allocation management in HetNets, where the femtocell network is under the coverage area of the macrocell network. A discrete firefly algorithm (DFA) has been utilized to optimize resource allocation in the femtocell network to reduce the cross-tier and co-tier interferences occurred while any users use the same resource blocks (RBs), which lead to the inefficiency of the network system. The simulation results showed that DFA was capable of finding the optimal resource allocation in HetNets and achieved higher network performance compared to random resource allocation.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133446979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, one of the factors that cause acute illness is mental fatigue. Thus mental fatigue has been identified as one of the life-threatening factors in the human population, especially in high school students. In this paper, we use the EEG signal to analyze mental fatigue conditions in the occipital region. We also develop cognitive tasks as stimuli for mental fatigue. Theta, alpha, and beta waves activity from EEG signals are used to compare mental fatigue conditions with normal conditions in each subject. Afterward, the time domain is analyzed using the standard deviation and the mean absolute value (MAV). Meanwhile, the IOWA Fatigue Scale (IFS) questionnaire was used as a subjective reference. Finally, it was found that when the subject suffered mental fatigue an increase in the 2 features of the EEG signal was greater than normal conditions, between the pre-task and post-task in the occipital O1 and O2 channels. In general, an increase in the 2 features of the EEG signal occurs in theta, alpha, and beta waves. From this study by analyzing brain waves in the occipital area, it was concluded that high school students who attend school for approximately 8 hours a day have the potential to experience mental fatigue.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130526555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
