Nevertheless, there are many obstacles in classifying batik's data, because the classification of batik has not been based on standard types of motifs. In this research, classification of batik's motif patterns based on color histograms and invariant moments was carried out. For the batik's pattern recognition method, two methods are tested and compared, namely the Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) method, and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The speed of the pattern recognition process of batiks' motif using SVM method requires an average processing time of 0.77 milliseconds, while the BPNN method requires an average time of 3.59 milliseconds. The accuracy of the classification of batik's pattern test data using the SVM method has an accuracy of 88.33 percent, while the BPNN method has an accuracy of 76.25 percent. The development of this research can be done by improving methods and variations in image data of batik's motif pattern.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124869428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In its construction design, the general bridge age is planned to have a life span of 100 years for large bridges and 50 years as the lifespan limit [1]. Over time the bridge will experience changes caused by movement from nature, bridge loads, bridge construction structures, excessive vibration, and so on [1]. One of the causes of a bridge collapse is a load that exceeds the capacity [2]. For example, the case of the ring bridge in Tuban district collapsed, because the vehicle load exceeded the bridge's capacity. Regarding the case of a bridge collapse in Tuban, it inspired the idea to collect, consider and maintain every bridge in Indonesia. If there is a bridge that fixes the collapse, repair activities can be carried out in Indonesia. In this research, a design algorithm was made, in which the compilation of devices mounted by the bridge so as not to exceed the maximum bridge load capacity. Vehicles entering the bridge have been indexed by several variables within 24 hours. Some of these variables are time, vehicle identity consisting of the license plate number, type of vehicle, vehicle weight and index. Design a bridge monitoring system and Internet-based (IoT) bridge monitoring algorithm. The truth of the algorithm, a simulation program was created using a visual studio, a database using MySQL and a website over base application. But in designing this algorithm, analysis is needed in determining the number of accelerometer sensors. The purpose of this algorithm system is bridge capability so that the weight of the incoming vehicle is not much or exceeds the bridge's capability limit. The validation of the design of this algorithm is to compare the workings of the standard algorithm. The results of this study are the creation of an algorithm for the Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring and control systems that can provide information about bridges in real-time. This research can help the government transportation department especially inland transportation, one of the online and real-time supply monitoring solutions. Besides, this research can be used as a bridge management and maintenance system so that the bridge can last longer.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124886449","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The PV is connected to a three-phase three-wire (3P3W) distribution system with 380 volts (L-L) and a frequency of 50 hertz, through UPQC-DC link. This system is used to maintain and supply sensitive loads. This paper shows that in the sag voltage and irradiance levels of 200 W/m2 to 1200 W/m2, the 3P3W system uses UPQC-PV with proportional-integral (PI) still able to maintain the active load power above 3714 W. However, in the interruption voltage and same irradiance level, the load active power drops to between 2560 W and 2805 W. This research also shows that in the sag voltage and same irradiance levels, the 3P3W system uses UPQC-PV with PI still able to generate PV power between 500 W to 920 W. In the interruption voltage and same irradiance levels, the power that can be generated by PV increases between 1300 W to 1635 W. Otherwise, at 250 C and 1000 W/m2, the increase in PV power on interruption voltage has not been able to meet the load active power consumption, so it finally drops to 2650 W. This paper is simulated using Matlab/Simulink.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"1987 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125481070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to compare the performance between SOM and BPNN control systems for wheeled robot. Direct inverse control (DIC) is utilized as the control system by generating a control signal based on the determined trajectory through the inverse process. The implementation of the DIC system with dynamic input-output mapping requires a modification for the original SOM algorithm. Its modification utilizes the vector-quantized temporal associative memory techniques. The SOM control system shows better performance because it produces a lower error compared to BPNN. It also only requires a constant 131 epochs for each training compared to the Bayesian regularization BPNN control system which requires an average of 253 epochs for each training. These results show that the SOM control system can produce a lower control error with less computational cost compared to the BPNN control system.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"226 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133626576","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the most famous division is a soccer robot, that is divided into two divisions: (1) SSL (Small Size League) and (2) MSL (Middle Size League). There are many research fields related to soccer robot which must be developed in robot ERSOW such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, Embedded System, Mechanic Systems, and Hardware. This paper focuses on computer vision research for robot ERSOW, especially detecting features of the middle size soccer field, so that specific features of the field like X-junction, T-junction and L-junction can be detected to help robot positioning task where the result is represented into x and y in real-world coordinate. By knowing the position of the features, the robot position can be calculated. The localization system at robot ERSOW uses odometry, which has a large percentage of data errors. Therefore, we attempt to extract the feature of X-junction that is done to find its x and y coordinates and then the obtained coordinate can be used as a reference for correcting odometry data by AI.","PeriodicalId":375166,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Smart Technology and Applications (ICoSTA)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131935608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
