This study aims to improve the accuracy of the training data utilized in a backpropagation neural network-based controller system under the direct inverse control scheme. One of the main strategies in improving the data accuracy was by recalculating the sampling time to accommodate the delay time of GPS signals. After obtaining accurate training data, backpropagation training was then carried out with several variations in the number of neurons to get the best neural network configuration. The simulation results showed that the best control performance was obtained with 13 input neurons, 10 hidden neurons and 2 output neurons with normalized training Mean Square Error (MSE) of 1.22 x 10-2. This neural network controller was then implemented to a developed wheeled robot, and the trajectory generated by the robot was compared to a certain test data trajectory. The experiment proved that the wheeled robot is able to follow the desired test trajectory with an acceptable normalized MSE value of 0.164. The localization technique is crucial in many ways, one of which is in a multi-robot system to get accurate robot positions. In this paper, the Trilateration algorithm is utilized to locate E-Puck2 robot by using the value of Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons to indicate the distance between the robot and the beacons. Each beacon is placed in a certain position in the test environment and the RSSI value is calculated from the BLE signal. The RSSI value and position of the beacon are then sent to the server using a serial port to be processed by Trilateration algorithm so that the position of the robot can be obtained. The test is done in 2 scenarios, namely scenario 1, which uses three beacons and scenario 2, which uses four beacons. The average error in scenario 1 is 48.56±14.52 cm on the x-axis and 79.80±28.83 cm on the y-axis. Meanwhile, the average error in scenario 2 is 76.70±26.24 cm on the x-axis and 63.52±20.86 cm on the y-axis. These errors are mainly caused by uns table RSSI values, which depend on the environment and the robot’s heading. Disposing of the garbage, not in its position, could be seen in tourist attractions in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta. As a result of disposing of the waste is not in its place, can damage the sustainability of tourist attractions. The community still cannot separate organic and inorganic, which has been provided by the area of disposal. If the waste is not being recycled, it will make the decomposition process more difficult. To make it easier to sort out and sensitize the community to be more disciplined, we renew the garbage bin using IoT Environment. The dustbin is integrated with a smartphone to find out information about the capacity of the garbage using an ultrasonic sensor. The dustbin is combined with a Wi-Fi module. So will allow the sensor to send the data through the Wi-Fi module via smartphone. The location of the nearest garbage uses the steepest hill-climbing algorithm integrated with a GPS Module. The dustbin is equipped with a security system to anticipate theft. The proposed Smart Waste Management can help janitors monitor excessive waste and accessible in recycling by saving 30 minutes. Then for the garbage collection process, the time taken is 50% faster than the schedule for taking out garbage janitors before using the IoT system. In fact, voltage and current distortion occur from non-linear load. Trends in the use of electronic component-based equipment for energy efficiency contribute to the loss of the transformer. Non linear load which is fed by the transformer will continuously increase the temperature to be an indication of reducing the quality of the transformer insulation oil. This results in a loss in the performance of the transformer. Non-linear loads can generate harmonic currents caused by rectifier inputs that tend to draw currents in the form of non-sinusoidal and non-continuous. The paper will discuss the effect of harmonics on the deterioration in the quality of transformer insulation materials. Insulating oil is an important part of the transformer given its function as a cooler and insulation, so the quality of the insulation material must be maintained so that the breakdown voltage is always at the permitted limit. Calculation of transformer loss due to harmonics which causes isolation failure will be carried out. The price of generator fuel varies depending on the type. The power plant with coal fuel is cheap and can be used to serve basic and medium loads all day. While the power plant with gas or oil fuel is very expensive and usually used to serve peak loads with a duration of 5 hours. The higher the peak load on the daily load curve, the greater the cost of producing electrical energy in the power system. Peak load generally occurs at night where almost everyone uses electrical equipment or during working hours. In Indonesia, especially on the Java and Bali islands, the peak load occurs from 17:00 to 22:00. This study uses the Java Bali 500 kV electrical power system. The load factor is a comparison between the average load for certain time intervals with the highest peak load at the same time interval. For example, 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. While the average load for a certain interval is the amount of electricity production (kWh) in that interval divided by the number of hours from that interval. The greater the load factor or close to 1, the cost of producing electricity will be cheaper or can be interpreted to be more economical. Making load factor approaching 1 will be used pump storage in the electric power system. The storage pump will act as a generator at peak load, thereby reducing the height of the peak load on the load curve. While at the baseload, pump storage will act as a motor load which serves to pump water from the lower reservoir to the upper reservoir, so that the baseload height will increase. Using this pump storage role will make the daily load curve flatter. The results of this study, in scenario 1 with load factor 0.89507, the cost of producing electricity for 24 hours is $ 20,251,047.78. While in scenario 2 with a load factor of 0.9672, the cost of producing electricity for 24 hours is $ 19,618,067.33. The π/4-DQPSK modulation scheme has an effective demodulation concept because it does not require phase synchronization on the receiving system (non-coherent). This study aims to implement the π/4–DQPSK modulator in full-digital FPGA to increase power efficiency and noise resistance. The experimental hierarchy begins with the design of the modulator simulation on the Simulink Matlab then the next step is the implementation of the Altera Cyclone IV FPGA. Evaluation of the constellation symbol from simulation results and comparison of demodulation outcome with initial input pulses can represent that the π/4-DQPSK modulator architecture is optimal.
