The term mono\u0000 no aware refers to impermanent, that is, transient beauty, ie. her\u0000 experience that does not arise on the basis of current sensory experience.\u0000 This concept should be understood as an aesthetic experience that accepts\u0000 the beauty of transience, although transience itself cannot be considered\u0000 beautiful. Mono no aware, is not the emotional response to the rational\u0000 judgment of transience, but the feeling that permeates us when we become\u0000 aware of sensory experience with the knowledge of transience. This, however,\u0000 is not about any sensory experience, but only one in which we find beauty.\u0000 Hence, the concept of mono no aware remains inseparable from the experience\u0000 of the beautiful, but it is not equated with it.

The Sublime is here shown to\u0000 be the topic within which Baumgarten aims to prove the inner connection\u0000 between aesthetics and ethics, or, more precisely, that the aesthetic domain\u0000 is intrinsically related to moral acts and decision-making. My analysis will\u0000 primarily focus on Baumgarten?s Aesthetics, but it will also include his\u0000 other works, like Metaphysics and Ethics, as well as the comparison with\u0000 Pseudo-Longinus?s text On the Sublime. First, we\u0000 will examine everyday and common understanding of friendship, and afterwards\u0000 we will examine philosophical understanding of ideal friendship that\u0000 influenced Stoics thought. Plato?s and Aristotle?s notion of friendship is\u0000 of great importance to the Stoics. The Stoics, faced with a number of\u0000 challenges, such as the problem of self-sufficiency outlined in Plato?s\u0000 Lysis, developed a normative ideal of friendship. These two defences, according to\u0000 John Austin (?A Plea for Excuses?, 1956-57), are mutually exclusive because\u0000 justification means accepting responsibility for the act in question and\u0000 claiming that it is not bad, while excuse involves accepting that the act in\u0000 question is bad, but denies responsibility. But the conditions of replicability vary depending on the studied\u0000 phenomenon in physics itself, and therefore the criteria for the adequacy of\u0000 the experiment vary as well. Three characteristic examples of experiments we\u0000 analyze led to three different epistemic attitudes of their adequacy based\u0000 on the replicability of the results. Andjelković
Abduction is commonly understood as a reasoning of the form: q; if p, then q therefore p. In the paper I argue that this is not only a simplification but also a distortion of Peirce's conception of abduction, since it ignores that abduction is, as Peirce explicitly claims, an induction over properties. Further, the epistemological significance of Peirce's concept of abduction is neglected as well, since abductive reasoning is almost exclusively related to the way in which one forms a scientific hypothesis, while it is overlooked that even the most elementary forms of knowledge involve abduction. Namely Peirce claims that the perceptual judgment is the limiting case of the abductive judgment, and this thesis cannot be understood properly if abduction is understood as having the above mentioned form.

Panajotov
One of the distinguished theoretical advantages of the concept of grounding\u0000 is its ability to unify various cases of the metaphysical dependence and\u0000 determination relations. That presupposes that the concept of grounding is\u0000 itself unified. The unity of grounding was usually tacitly presupposed among\u0000 grounding theorists, but it gradually became a subject of discussion because\u0000 of various skeptical challenges. In this article, I will examine three most\u0000 general theories of the unity of grounding: 1) singularism: the view that\u0000 the unity of grounding is based on the idea that there is a single relation\u0000 of grounding; 2) generalism: the view according to which grounding should be\u0000 understood as a generic notion; and 3) the view that the unity of grounding\u0000 rests upon an objective resemblance between different grounding relations.\u0000 Special attention will be given to the third option which was a largely\u0000 neglected view. Our considerations will show that this standpoint, due to\u0000 its inherent theoretical virtues, deserves more serious treatment in\u0000 metaphysical disputes on grounding.

Meta-political cognitivism and the place of truth in politics 元政治认知主义与真理在政治中的地位
In this paper I discuss how the need for defining truth in a political\u0000 context retains its importance even in the light of the insistence from\u0000 political realists that such attempts will necessarily fail.1 I mention two\u0000 debates in the political philosophy that intersect at this issue. The first\u0000 is the dispute between those who, like Rawls, adhere to epistemic\u0000 agnosticism and deny that we can have an operational definition of truth in\u0000 politics and those who, following Habermas, argue that our political\u0000 propositions always have truth values. The second debate is that between\u0000 political moralists and political realists. I then try to show why both\u0000 realists and moralists need to amend their views in order to fully take into\u0000 account the complexities of the political domain. Moralists need to\u0000 recognize that the realists are correct in denying the effective\u0000 applicability of general moral principles, while realists err in thinking\u0000 that moral principles in politics must only be general in nature. By\u0000 incorporating the possibility of particularism in politics we can also find\u0000 the plausible candidate for the operational view of the concept of truth ?\u0000 the pragmatist conception as elucidated by William James. This can then help\u0000 us develop more meta-political cognitivism more fully and apply it to a wide\u0000 range of issues in political philosophy, one of the most important being the\u0000 efficacy of deliberative democracy.
