To that end, we have divided the paper in\u0000 three segments. The first part of the paper presents the biographical\u0000 elements which shed light on the crisis in the very life of our eminent\u0000 philosopher. The central part of the paper discusses the way in which Jelena\u0000 Berberovic thematizes the problem of crisis in her writings. The author\u0000 speaks about the crisis in three senses. Namely, she talks about the crisis\u0000 of philosophy, the world crisis, and the crisis of consciousness. Next, we\u0000 develop the argumentation concerning the interpretive position from which\u0000 the philosopher argues about the problem of crisis. The last segment of this\u0000 paper states the manner in which the author presents moments of crisis in\u0000 the lives of certain committed thinkers. BC, to he XIIth c.,\u0000 which express sublime, first as a personal experience and emotion, but also\u0000 this tradition had collective experiences. In the introductory parts we\u0000 presented the categories, which the Chinese authors developed and applied in\u0000 interpreting art, in particular poetry. Then we analysed poetry examples in\u0000 which the sublime has important, or crucial role, starting with the two\u0000 anthologies, and then including individual authors. The\u0000 basic idea is to investigate how the category of the sublime appears in the\u0000 modern age, both within aesthetic theories and with regard to certain\u0000 poetics and specific works of art. The key difference in the perception of\u0000 the sublime in relation to the earlier phases of capitalism and the present\u0000 one consists in the connection that the sublime establishes with new\u0000 technologies, which is also reflected in the world of art. The assumption is that the decision arrived at\u0000 through deliberation is legitimate if all those impacted by this decision\u0000 have parttaken in its making. However, it is believed that the deliberation\u0000 of all whom the decision concerns is impossible. The representative model of\u0000 deliberative democracy, proposed by John Parkinson, offers a solution to\u0000 this problem, commonly named mini-forums strategy. The critique of all\u0000 attempts at developing theory through mini-forums as institutionalized forms\u0000 of decision-making, submitted by Christina Lafont, demonstrates certain\u0000 flaws of such attempts, but it also showcases some valuable ideas Parkinson\u0000 put forth. Recently, a group of authors advanced a new interpretation of\u0000 spacetime called ?spacetime functionalism?, with the idea that spacetime\u0000 should be defined via its functional role in the physical theory, in other\u0000 words, ?spacetime is what spacetime does?. A material field or an object are\u0000 spatiotemporal if they play a defined role in a physical theory. The\u0000 approach is meant to be widely applicable, from classical mechanics to\u0000 possible new theories of Quantum gravity, where spacetime might not appear\u0000 at the fundamental theory level. Functionalism can be well combined with the\u0000 emergent spacetime. One of the discerning characteristics of his conversational\u0000 contextualism is the claim that it can solve the Gettier problem. The first\u0000 part of this paper will be directed towards explicating the arguments Lewis\u0000 employed in reaching said solution. The second part will be concerned with\u0000 Cohen?s critique of the proposed explanation. Cohen?s considerations result\u0000 in an insight that contextualism does not have the adequate means to answer\u0000 the Gettier challenge. Finally, I shall make an attempt at further\u0000 motivating Cohen?s claim by investigating the essential component of Gettier\u0000 cases - epistemic luck. This will be done by appealing to Pritchard?s\u0000 concept of veritic epistemic luck. Author provides a short review of key notions, the subject,\u0000 and the importance of military ethics in armed forces, followed by a short\u0000 analysis of both traditional approaches - aspirational and functionalist -\u0000 to teaching military ethics identifying their weaknesses. Author concludes\u0000 that it is necessary to transcend the traditional approach and include both\u0000 moral philosophy and character development in moral education in order to\u0000 develop a military ethos based on solid ethical foundations. The work approaches Schmitt?s thought\u0000 in an impartial way, and conducts a constructive dialogue with his theory of\u0000 law and the state, i.e. his philosophy of law, acknowledging Schmitt?s\u0000 analytical results in defining the relationship between politics and law,\u0000 but also criticizing his theory where it shows certain exaggerations. The\u0000 paper presents a simultaneous research of Schmitt?s theory and Schmitt?s\u0000 biography, trying to show the existential and political reasons why he tried\u0000 to conform his theory of state and law to the totalitarian political\u0000 circumstances in which he lived. The paper finally evaluates the value of\u0000 Schmitt?s theory, which in a clear, descriptive and logical way\u0000 distinguished two levels of legal thought, distinguishing the very level of\u0000 constitution of the political-legal order where law is not, in real\u0000 historical conditions, separate from politics - and the level of the system\u0000 of positive legal norms itself. It is less known\u0000 that at the same time (and as far as I can tell, independently) Ajdukijewicz\u0000 developed himself an idea of the language meaning related to the rule\u0000 following activity, which he used in defence of radical conventionalism.\u0000 Tadeusz Czarnecki analyses papers of two philosophers both published in\u0000 1934, and offers a critique of Ajdukijewicz?s theory of meaning. He claims\u0000 that while Wittgenstein has in his philosophical arsenal the means to assure\u0000 intersubjectivity of meaning, Ajdukijewicz fails in that respect. In this\u0000 paper I want to show that this critique is ill- placed.
