The stator flux linkage estimation in the conventional DTC also needs the integration of the back electromotive force (back-emf), and is largely affected by the value of the stator resistance. The application of the extended Kalman filter (EKF) in the aspect of estimating stator flux linkage is studied in this paper, reducing the torque and flux linkage ripple and eliminating the integration of the back-emf. The simulation results indicate that the proposed method not only does well in the speed, the rotor position and the stator flux linkage estimation, but also is robust to the stator resistance.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129498047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A trip-out rate threshold was established and the data exceeding it was considered abnormal. The time when the trip-out rate would appear abnormal was predicted through the original data and the model. The exception value was accurately predicted by one instance at last. It proves the validity of the prediction method. From another perspective, the gray model can improve the power supply reliability.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125069559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Capturing and reusing of the DR plays an important role in design thinking guidance and decision support. In order to clearly reflect the essential characteristics of design activities such as design iteration and design evolution in design process, a reconstruction method of the DR model is proposed based on design context. The limitations of the existing DR models in the expression of evolution information and knowledge reuse support are illustrated. And the concept of design context is put forward and two new DR element interaction relationships are defined to reconstruct FGDR model to eliminate redundant information. So the method contributes to optimize the DR model in its knowledge expression form and knowledge expression ability. This can further strengthen the DR model's support to design reuse. A prototype system is developed for DR modeling and reconstruction. Partial design process of the POGO mechanical system design is taken as an example to validate the feasibility and validity of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115924746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To address the problem, we propose two novel projected partition algorithms, PPA and PPA+. The basic idea of PPA is to take the order among genes as the criterion of phenotype structure discovery. Specially, in PPA, no any specific data distribution assumption is needed. By transforming the expression values into sequential data, PPA employs the branch and bound paradigm to conduct an efficient depth-first traverse over the sample enumeration space, where a user-specific favorite function is developed. Further, based on the hill-climbing strategy and the devised evaluation function, two different strategies are proposed to make the results satisfy different customer-requirements. Efficient pruning and optimization strategies are also devised to further improve the performance of the algorithms. We conducted the performance comparison of PPA and some related alternatives on five real Microarray datasets. The results show that PPA is more effective and efficient. More important, PPA may provide a fire-new insight into the pathogenesis problem.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121296748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trajectories of people are highly imbalanced from spatial and temporal perspectives. Many existing researches achieve good results on recognizing activities with lots of GPS logs, such as working and staying at home. However, these approaches usually fail at activities with few trajectory records. In this paper, we propose a cost sensitive GPS-based activity recognition model to improve accuracy of minority activities which could imply users' personal preferences. The approach aims at providing more balanced results. We first propose a cost function to measure spatial and temporal regularities of each activity on a stay point. Then we incorporate cost function into activity recognition algorithm. We take hidden Markov model as an example in this study. Experiments show good performance of our approach in several evaluation metrics. It could provide more balanced and valuable activity recognition results from GPS trajectories.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129198762","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But calculating the membership matrix also makes it has a low efficiency. Moreover, the performance of possibilistic clustering may be degreased if the cluster number is set wrongly. In this paper, we proposed a new possibilistic clustering algorithm named unsupervised possibilistic c-means clustering algorithm with data reduction (UPCMDR) to improve the efficiency of possibilistic c-means clustering algorithm (PCM). In UPCMDR, data reduction technique is introduced to speed up the process of estimation of the cluster centers. A new clustering algorithm called weighted possibilistic c-means clustering algorithm is proposed to estimate the positions of centers of PCM accurately. The contrast experimental results with conventional algorithms show that UPCMDR has a relatively high efficiency, and can execute unsupervised clustering task when combining with the generalized cluster validity index.","PeriodicalId":368964,"journal":{"name":"2013 10th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (FSKD)","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132441300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
