However, LRU policy remains some deficiencies based on previous studies. In particular, LRU may perform considerably bad when the workloads of application program are larger than L2 cache, because there are usually a great number of less reused lines that are never reused or reused for few times in L2 cache. The cache performance can be improved significantly if we keep non-less reused lines rather than less reused lines in cache for a time quantum. This paper proposes a new architecture called Shared Less Reused Filter (SLRF) that applying the less reused filter that can filter out the less reused lines rather than just never reused lines according to the context of Chip Multiprocessors. Our experiments on a large set of multithread benchmarks, for 11 splash-2 benchmarks, demonstrate that our technique shows that augmented in a 2M LRU-managed L2 cache with a SLRF which has 256 KB filter buffer improves IPC by 13.43% compared with the context of the uniprocessor, and reduces the average MPKI by 18.20 %.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127464368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Strong interfering signals have seriously affected the quality of communication and reliability of information. To weaken or even eliminate the effect of the unwanted signal to the wanted one, genetic algorithm (GA) is utilized to optimize element current amplitudes in obtaining the needed radiation pattern of adaptive linear array antenna under intensive interference environment. Details on structure of the system, radiation pattern formulation, and application of the genetic algorithm are given, and simulation examples are also demonstrated to show the effectiveness of the GA approach. advantages are such that the optimized amplitudes can be directly used in the engineering without further discretization, and that the ratio of maximum amplitude to minimum one is moderate which makes it easy to feed the antenna.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129935045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the relation of the sequence with its autocorrelation, an algorithm was brought forward. The periodicity of autocorrelation is equal to the periodicity of the digital sequence. The minimum periodicity of autocorrelation sequence is the position difference between the top apex with the second apex of the unitary autocorrelation excluding direct component. The algorithm principle was introduced and applications were afforded to verify the method. The result shows that the method was right to evaluate minimum periodicity of sequences successfully. The algorithm is helpful to analyze the periodicity of digital sequence.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129008805","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A dynamic simulation model of urban spatial structure evolution is presented in this paper. The model is characterized in terms of New Towns' endogenous, besides this, urban spatial evolution dynamics depends on the form of the urban market potential, which is described by the behaviors of urban consumers and producers. Both New Towns' growth and decline are related with the location benefits. Furthermore, through sensitivity analysis of key parameters on numerical simulation platform, the paper realizes the USS evolution and New Towns' development simulation from a bottom-up view. The results gotten through the modeling-simulation approach provide us with technical support to optimize the policy and institutional arrangements to achieve optimization management in the process of New Towns' development and urban planning.","PeriodicalId":368130,"journal":{"name":"2011 Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation","volume":"602 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132849562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
