Objectives: to assess the mean posttest pain score \u0000among children in the experimental and control group, to find out the effectiveness of music playback on \u0000intravenous cannulation pain among children and to find out the association between posttest pain score and \u0000selected socio demo graphic variables of children in control group. Quasi experimental posttest only controls\u0000group design and convenience sampling technique was used to select 60 children in a selected hospital at \u0000Alappuzha district. Conceptual framework: Ernestine Wiedenbach’s Helping Art of Clinical Nursing Theory \u0000(1969). Posttest was conducted in the control and the experimental group by using FLACC Behavioral Pain Scale \u0000and Socio demographic proforma. Music playback was played to the experimental group for 10 minutes during \u0000intravenous cannulation. The data were tabulated and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The \u0000mean posttest pain score of children in the experimental group was 4.1 with SD 1.33 which was significantly \u0000lower than the mean posttest pain score of children in the control group which was 7.8 with SD 1.27 with a \u0000mean difference of 3.6. The calculated ‘t’ value 10.910 was greater than the table value 2.00, is significant at \u0000p<0.05 level with degree of freedom 58. Hence, we can conclude that the music playback was effective in \u0000reducing the pain level of children during intravenous cannulation. The analysis showed that the calculated chi \u0000square value for family monthly income, number of previous hospitalisations, previous exposure of cannulation \u0000were greater than that of the table value at p < 0.05 level of significance. Hence null hypothesis (H02) can be \u0000rejected and research hypothesis (H2) can be accepted. Those diseases can be spread while bathing, washing, ingesting water, or with the aid of ingesting food exposed to contaminated water. Even as diarrhea and vomiting are the most commonly stated symptoms of waterborne contamination, other symptoms can include pores and skin, ear, respiration, or eye trouble. Quantitative research approaches were adopted for the study with descriptive survey design. The study was conducted in selected areas of Ferozepur, Punjab. The areas such as Basti Awa, Basti Bhattian Wali, Basti Sheikhan Wali and Basti Bagh Wali were selected for the study. Population consists of mothers of infants in selected area of Ferozepur, Punjab. Cluster sampling technique was adopted to select the 500 mothers of infants. The study was an interesting and enriching novel experience for the investigator in the field of research. When babies are born \u0000prematurely, their digestive systems may not be fully developed. As a result, many of these small infants experience \u0000feeding difficulties such as problems establishing nipple feedings at breast or with the bottle. Methodology: \u0000Descriptive research approach was adopted using descriptive research design. The sample consisted of 30 preterm \u0000babies with poor feeding performance .The samples were collected by using the non -probability convenient \u0000sampling technique. The level of feeding performance was assessed with the help of modified early feeding skill\u0000assessment scale for preterm babies. Results: Majority of 15 (50%) preterm babies had poor feeding performance,\u000012 (40%) preterm babies had average feeding performance and 3 (10%) had good feeding performance. It was not \u0000possible to compute chi-square test to find out the association between level of feeding performance and their \u0000socio-demographic variables, as the expected values are less than 5. Design: non experimental descriptive research design .Setting:\u0000medical Centre. Sample: 64 antenatal mothers with anemia. Sampling technique: Probability cluster sample. \u0000Conceptual Frame Work: Pender’s health promotion model (1996). Outcome Measures: Explorative factors of \u0000anemia among antenatal mothers. Results: 80 percentages of antenatal mothers belong to medical Centre were \u0000having anemia. 48(75 percent) of antenatal mothers were having mild anemia and 16(25 percent) were having \u0000moderate anemia.
