Children are nation’s biggest asset. Every year 1, 40,590 people die due to road traffic accidents. \nRoad safety is the necessity of each human being to protect oneself and other’s life because there is day to day \nincrease the number of the traffic and that leads road traffic accidents. As adults, we are responsible for young \nchildren’s safety on roads. With the help of creating awareness among people that can prevent road traffic \naccidents. The aim of the study is to assess the knowledge of school students regarding road safety. The study \nadopted a pre - experimental research design to assess the knowledge of students regarding road safety in selected \nsenior secondary school of Amritsar. The sample size was 500 school students. Convenient Sampling technique was \nused. The tool was two sections, section 1 consists of a self-structured demographic questionnaire and section 2 \nconsists of a self-structured knowledge questionnaire.
