This technology promises to enable the rapid and cost-effective construction of homes, addressing acute housing shortages driven by rapid urbanisation and population growth. However, the widespread adoption of prefabrication poses challenges particularly concerning the preservation of cultural heritage, the fostering of community cohesion, and the reliance on a limited number of skilled workers. This paper uses India as a case study to examine the benefits and drawbacks of prefabrication in this context and provides recommendations for how architects from affluent nations and regional building experts can integrate cultural and technological considerations to promote sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":366166,"journal":{"name":"THE GENESIS","volume":"12 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141278864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The construction sector accounts for about 40 percent of the global energy use. The building sector which is important to quality of life in terms of housing, workspace, utilities and transport infrastructure is also of high economic significance and has serious environmental and social consequences particular in the environment. This paper develops a framework to implement sustainability principles and strategies to the construction industry from a life-cycle perspective to contribute to sustainable development which includes three dimensions: environment, social and economic. The framework depicts the construction sector's potential for contributing to sustainability development by highlighting the environmental problems and prospects and defining the relationship between construction activities and environmental, social and economic problems.","PeriodicalId":366166,"journal":{"name":"THE GENESIS","volume":"48 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141279784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Long, straight roads which pass by schools, residences and businesses and which facilitate travel at high-speed place children at significant risk. A major risk to children as pedestrians, cyclists and passengers in vehicles are people who drink and drive. Consuming alcohol before driving increases not only the chance of a road traffic crash occurring, but also the likelihood that death or serious injury will result. For children, wearing a helmet is the single most effective strategy for reducing the risk of injury to the head while riding bicycles or motorcycles. For children who are occupants of a vehicle, a range of restraints is available to protect them. These include infant car seats, child car seats, booster seats and seat-belts, and their use depends on the age, weight and height of the child.","PeriodicalId":366166,"journal":{"name":"THE GENESIS","volume":"283 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131441948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PubMed, Medline, Embase, CINAHL, and CENTRAL were searched for relevant studies. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that tested nurse-led interventions with community-dwelling patients and quantitatively measured adherence were included. Adherence and clinical outcomes were analyzed descriptively. Seventeen RCTs fulfilled the inclusion criteria and were of acceptable quality. The studies varied in sample size, loss to follow-up rates, study subject ages, medical conditions, and pharmacotherapy. The nurse-led interventions were complex and multifaceted. In conclusion, low-quality evidence suggests that some nurse-led interventions may improve medication adherence and clinical outcomes in patients suffering from any form of diabetes.","PeriodicalId":366166,"journal":{"name":"THE GENESIS","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131722005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recognizing symptoms that determine disease severity helps anticipate end results. Infants with stridor who do not have remarkable feeding-related symptoms can be managed confidently, without intervention. Infants, who have stridor and feeding-related symptoms, are managed from acid suppression therapy. Those with added symptoms of aspiration, failure to thrive, and consequences of airway obstruction and hypoxia require surgical intervention. Most with laryngomalacia will have mild-to-moderate symptoms and not require surgery.","PeriodicalId":366166,"journal":{"name":"THE GENESIS","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128400149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
