A STUDY TO ASSESS LEVEL OF KNEE PAIN AND QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG ELDERLY

Abstract

Aging is a period of change that affects not just a person's bodily well-being but also his or her social and mental well-being. Industrialization and globalization have shattered society's traditional values and customs, resulting in the breakup of joint or extended family structures into nuclear ones, making the elderly more vulnerable. A Quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test control group research design was selected for this study. A total of 200 elderly were selected by using a convenient sampling technique in both experimental and control groups. Individual consent both verbal and written was obtained from the elderly.
