Abstract

Diabetes mellitus, a global public health problem, is now growing as an epidemic in both developed and developing countries. Health care professionals need to recognize the magnitude and seriousness of this disease and act as a catalyst in providing care to those individuals with diabetes. Insulin administration requires more importance because its improper use may not produce the expected result in the individual.
