An analysis of the operation of a small distribution system (SDSs) including a formed group of four ESSs in the case of increasing the SDS load is carried out. A standard test IEEE 33-node 12.6 kV network has been used as a base model. The development of an electrical network is modeled by a 1.4-fold increase in the load in periods of maximum loads compared to the rated load capacity. A target cost function has been formed based on the cost of purchasing electricity by the balancing group and investment costs for the installation of the ESSs, provided that the argument is the capacities of the ESSs and an electricity storage period. The optimization is performed for a given real daily electricity price schedule and a daily load capacity schedule. The rated lower and upper voltage values in the network nodes are defined as constraints.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"53 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124366662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we consider the possibilities of using interval type-2 fuzzy sets to describing the uncertainties that arise when defining input variables. These uncertainties can be presented as the different meanings on the same dynamic system or changes in the technical parameters that occur due to external factors. We also present complex interval type-2 fuzzy sets and give the examples of their use to reduce the number of fuzzy sets and rules in a fuzzy knowledge base. The necessary conditions for the construction of complex interval type-2 fuzzy sets and methods for determining lower and upper membership functions in them are also given. The footprint of uncertainty for the complex interval type-2 fuzzy set is presented with upper and lower membership functions of different fuzzy sets. All methods which are described in this work can be used in decision support systems design, to select the optimal parameters of a nonlinear system, or in fuzzy speed controller design.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127341243","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

National regulatory documents governing the use of reclosers do not yet exist, which raises questions related to their operation. One such issue is surge protection for the recloser. Realization of protection of insulation of reclosers from the effects of atmospheric overvoltages can be performed on the basis of arrester. The installation of an arrester is necessary at all phases of the recloser as close as possible to its conclusions, which will limit overvoltages to the required level. Installing an arrester will reliably protect all recloser equipment from overvoltage. In this case, the arrester selection can be made according to the remaining voltage, taking into account the insulation coordination interval (at least 25%), to the test voltage of the equipment according to GOST 1516.3-96 and to check the throughput at the rated lightning currents. The analysis allows us to conclude that the values of the grounding resistance of the supports of overhead lines 6 - 35 kV, necessary to ensure the electrical strength of the linear insulation, lie in the following limits: for a lightning current of 20 kA - 10 -17 Ohms; for a lightning current of 30 kA - 6 - 11 Ohms","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115337504","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When considering strategies, it is assumed that the onboard capacitive storage has low power and capacitance. Therefore, this capacitor storage is not able to accept the full amount of regenerative braking energy of the electric rolling stock. The purpose of the paper is to consider and analyze management strategies for energy exchange processes in the electric rolling stock with onboard capacitive energy storages; define the advantages and disadvantages of each of the existing strategies and propose a concept for the effective management of energy exchange processes in the electric rolling stock. The main concept of this management strategy is to implement efficient energy exchange between the traction equipment, the onboard capacitive energy storage, the overhead contact system, both in normal and emergency modes of traction power supply, taking into account the dynamics of energy exchange processes in the overhead contact system, which will generally allow safety and energy efficiency of the transportation process. The obtained research results will contribute to the development and implementation of effective strategies for managing energy exchange processes in the electric rolling stock.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121874360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
