Abstract

In this study the viscoelastic deformation of human aortic bifurcation was investigated. An algorithm of automated geometric model construction was implemented in the parametric form. We considered the vessel as a hollow cylinder with the walls as an isotropic material. The analysis was carried out using the finite element method.
