The so-called electronic period was represented by the rapid development of computer science centers in Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv. First of all, computer technology was used in the Space. On-board computers were created at enterprises and special design bureaus, and software for studying the Moon was developed. At the same time, equipment for submarines was developed. Special CS for intercontinental ballistic missiles and launch vehicles were developed too. The article presents which departments were created in universities and institutes and who headed them. It is noted that despite the rapid development of information technology in Ukraine, money for the installation of equipment, as well as proper software support was not allocated by the country's leadership. And this is the reason that our country, despite the rapid start in the development of information technology in the second half of the twentieth century, it lagged sharply behind other European countries at the end of the last century.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121881840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advantages of this type of microgrid over AC microgrids are fewer DC/AC and AC/DC conversion steps, easier control, reliability, and higher efficiency. One of the most important challenges that DC microgrids face is such systems protection. In this paper, a protection algorithm based on a differential protection method for a low voltage ring DC microgrid connected to the network is presenting. This protection method ought to able to quickly detect all types of pole-to-pole and pole-to-ground faults for high-impedance and low-impedance faults and prevent complete system shutdown. After detecting and isolating the fault, the fault place was determining using fuzzy logic and using voltage transients.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124389992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The electrical and mechanical characteristics of the accelerator are obtained when the inductor winding is excited from capacitive energy storage of vibration-damped, aperiodic and aperiodic with feeding by current forms. Using a complex efficiency criterion, which takes into account the amplitude of the current in the inductor winding, the maximum speed of the electrically conductive armature, the magnitude of the impulse of the total electrodynamic forces, the average level of the stray field and electrically conductive armature. On the basis of a two-armature accelerator with a ferromagnetic shield, a model of an electromagnetic catapult for a unmanned aerial vehicle was manufactured and tested. In the process of experimental research, the electrical, magnetic, mechanical and thermal parameters of the catapult were measured simultaneously. It was found that the maximum speed of a unmanned aerial vehicle based on an accelerator with a parallel connection of active elements is 60% higher than with their serial connection.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122129957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methodology consists of plane airfoil profiling, further arrangement of plane sections for forming a volumetric airfoil, computational fluid dynamics calculations, as well as structural strength evaluation. The plane section calculations provide the general insights of the future blade shape on the basis of the recognized approaches. The blade formation technique allows to design a fan blade of any shape with a single series of previously calculated plane sections. Applying the finite-element method to the modelling of the fan impeller solid mechanics ensures its strength and reliability. The connected fluid-structure interaction model allows taking into account all the effects of fluid and solid nature. All these measures form a unique closed cycle of designing an industrial fan installation which can be used by engineers and scientists who apply computer aided design and engineering tools for the creation of axial fans and compressors.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131416676","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Container (capsule) for discrete delivery of extinguishing agents in the form of a sphere is made using 3D printing from PLA-plastic. In order to determine the critical fall velocity for the destruction of the sphere, the stresses that occur in it under shock load had been determined. The study of the impact load effect determined the critical levels of the velocities of the falling sphere at which the failure occurs. To determine the parameters of the stress state, a explicit dynamic analysis was performed using the finite element method. A geometric and CE model of the sphere and the area of incidence was developed. The state of the sphere when falling at different velocities is analyzed. Three calculation models were considered, taking into account the filling of the sphere with water, fire-extinguishing powder and without filling. The fall velocity varied between 10 m/s and 30 m/s. The probability of failure of container had been defined for three cases of filling.","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129647340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model takes into account the complex geometry of the channels, the results of design and engineering developments and computational studies to optimize the stop valves of the steam line for flow path of the high-pressure cylinder of the K-220-44-2 turbine for the Loviisa NPP are considered (Finland). The main attention during the modernization of stop valves 1 and 2 was paid to the problem of reducing losses on the steam sieve. A number of design features largely offset the effect of a large number of holes. These include the flow around the perforated surface at an angle to the axis of the holes; obstruction of the steam line channel behind the side surface of the steam sieve with three longitudinal ribs, as well as by an annular zone without holes at the junction of the side and bottom surfaces. During modernization the inner diameter of the inlet part of the body in casting was increased, which made it possible to increase the free cross-section of the perforated steam sieve. The proposed design solutions were investigated numerically. The spatial three-dimensional flow of a viscous compressible steam through the flow path was analyzed by numerically integrating the system of Navier-Stokes equations averaged by Reynolds-Favre. The system was supplemented with equations of the differential turbulence model. One of the author's software package was used for integration of the system of Navier-Stokes equations and associated equations [3]. Unstructured hexahedral meshes were used for approximation of the calculated subdomains. An implicit difference scheme of finite volumes of the 2nd order of accuracy and a variant of the algorithm [4], [5] that allows efficient splitting of the computational process for multiprocessor platforms was used in the solver. The solid walls were assumed to be adiabatic, the no-slip condition and the equality of effective vortex viscosity to zero were set on them. Turbulent effects were described based on the Menter model [4] and the modified Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model [5].","PeriodicalId":365896,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek)","volume":"11 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133735965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
