Abstract

This paper considers the possibility of using an adapted ant algorithm to work with a swarm of robots in the presence of substitute and complementary resources. It was proposed to expand the capabilities of the adapted ant algorithm by using separate pheromone maps for each group of substitute resources. By computer simulation, it has been shown that an adapted ant algorithm can be successfully extended to control a swarm of robots operating in the presence of several types of resources. It was shown that using a swarm of robots controlled by the proposed algorithm, the equilibrium of the manufacturer can be achieved without applying the concept of economic man.
