The goal of this study is to understand the role and presence of ethno-mythological motifs in the art of Siberia in the 21st century. The article briefly outlines the main stages of how these motifs have developed in Siberian art. It also examines the images that artists commonly use and classifies them. The scientific novelty of this research lies in introducing the names of new artists into scholarly discourse. As a result, it has been discovered that the imagery in many works is rooted in universal symbolism, which is characteristic of various world cultures. A significant portion of these images includes depictions of spirits who are the guardians of the land, animals, and anthropomorphic figures found on Neolithic artworks from the region, as well as in shamanic symbols, ethnic, mythological representations of the Siberian peoples, and folklore texts. In essence, traditional culture serves as a framework that gives shape to the semantic content of these artistic creations.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"57 26","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141804624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Within the framework of a semiotic approach to a musical material, the author examines the phenomenon of musical code, the evolution of a director’s role in the co-creation of the final integral theatrical product and the appearance of a trend for directorial dominance. Taking as an example P. I. Tchaikovsky’s opera “The Enchantress” (2022 г.) staged by the Frankfurt Opera House and relying on, in particular, I. V. Kochubey’s “Doctrine about the Everyday Things Order”. The author analyzes the functioning of the system of “details” within the framework of a director’s intention, relating to the various levels: musical, plot-compositional, plastic-objective ones. The purpose of the study is to identify the cause-and-effect relationships in the semiotic reading of the stage production of “The Enchantress” by P. I. Tchaikovsky. The scientific novelty of the work is seen by the author in the fact that for the first time the problem of the director's reading of an opera text and its perception by the viewer from structural-semiotic, hermeneutical, phenomenological positions, as an important component of the expressive system of modern musical and theatrical production, is specifically studied. As a result of the study, it was established that an operatic work is capable of creating new readings, interacting with a changing cultural and ideological context. The article clarifies the role of the artistic and graphic component of brand communication and the role of packaging in branding in general and in the category of dairy products in particular. The main trends in the development of society and their reflection in consumer behavior and trends in the artistic and graphic component of packaging in the dairy market, as well as their impact on the semantic and artistic field of communication in the category of dairy products, are considered. As a result, data are provided on the study of the features of visual communication of brands-leaders of the dairy products market \"Prostokvashino\", \"House in the village\", \"Village Green\", \"Vkusnoteevo\", within which visual codes used by brands in the formation of an identical image are identified, which are of practical importance in the development of startup brands in the dairy category. The scientific novelty of this work lies in presenting previously unused integrated approach to the study of dairy market brands, which includes both the study of branding aspects from a marketing point of view, and the study of translated meanings using visual messages – codes formed by the form factor and packaging material and a set of artistic and graphic messages on the package, providing a holistic perception of brand image, as well as the correlation of messages with trends in the development of society and consumer behavior.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"398 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141852484","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result of the study, classifications of the “traditional” ways of myth-making (the reference to traditional mythologized archetypes, the use of binary oppositions, etc.) and the “modern” ways (double coding, depersonalization, discreteness of history, etc.), determined by the cultural and historical context of postmodernism and post-structuralism were provided. Using these classifications, the significance and influence of myth and myth-making techniques on thinking, human behavior, and cultural and historical processes of past and modern eras were proven. The paper is novel in that by analyzing the complex of Umberto Eco’s texts, myth is considered as the most important construct both of human culture and human thinking. The mechanisms of constructing certain types of modern myths, as well as the ways of their influence on the mass consciousness, on historical and socio-cultural processes are described.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"42 13","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141107841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article reveals the content of technological support and demonstrates the algorithm of the process of forming artist performance competence among students in a pedagogical university through the implementation of a selected set of pedagogical technologies. The research novelty lies in the justification and demonstration of the technological nature of the process of musical-instrumental training for students in a pedagogical university. The technological organization of musical-instrumental training for learners is seen as a necessary condition for the development of artist performance competence in future teacher-musicians. The study uncovers the content of pedagogical support and the technological organization of the process of forming artist performance competence among students in a pedagogical university during classes on musical-instrumental training. It is proven that the development of artist performance competence among students in a pedagogical university will be more effective if a complex of pedagogical technologies is implemented: goal-setting and planning of educational activities, game modeling of learning situations, development of auditory-motor coordination and formation of artist performance skills, reflexive metacognitive skills, intonation-stylistic piano playing instruction. An algorithm for implementing the process of developing artist performance competence in classes on musical-instrumental training for students of a pedagogical university has been developed.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"28 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140225994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper studies the costumes designed by Bouchène for the performances of “Tessa” and “Electra” in 1934 and 1937 respectively, shining a light on the reviews by critics on these productions and their staging. The scientific novelty of the research lies in gathering previously scattered information and images related to the creation of “Tessa” and “Electra”. These are the only dramatic productions where Dimitri Bouchène, who is known primarily for his work in musical theatre scenography, was involved in the set design. The research highlights a stage in the artist’s creative path, which coincided with the period of developing his individual style and distinctive character. The early stage of Bouchène’s work for the theatre in Paris is marked by diversity and a search for his own direction and creative signature. The paper emphasizes the high praise given by critics to Bouchène’s work, particularly regarding the play “Electra”.","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"657 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140281274","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper shows that the role of the main formative means was played by those compositional factors that were most actively developing in a particular epoch. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the specific identification of these compositional factors: the rhythmic one in the isorhythmic motets of the 14th century, the large-scale structural one in the textual and musical forms of the Renaissance, the functional harmonic one in Baroque works. As a result, it has been found that a change towards a decrease in the tenor’s measure at the last repetition of the melody of Gregorian chant turned out to be the factor of musical form completeness in Ph. de Vitry’s isorhythmic motets; in the motets, madrigals and polyphonic songs of the Renaissance, a large-scale enlargement of the final textual and musical segment of the form performed a similar function; as for the instrumental Baroque genres (preludes, toccatas, fantasias), such was the case with the increased harmonic stability of the last section (a tonic organ point, repetition of cadence turns).","PeriodicalId":365294,"journal":{"name":"Pan-Art","volume":"205 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139831924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
