Research topics in students' scientific work are often repetitive and even have so much similarity values between one another. Even the topic is already looking obsolete and has no novelty/innovation value in it. One effort that can be done to minimize the symptoms of plagiarism and repetitive topics, it is necessary to mapping the topic of scientific work and methodology to help the birth of student research results in the form of articles published in reputable scientific journals. The purpose of this study is to describe the mapping of the quality of scientific work of postgraduate students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Research method: The research approach used is a quantitative approach to survey method. Research subjects are Civic experts, lecturers, and students. Therefore, the inculcation of national defense values has become a necessity. The strategy used must use media that are favored by young people and are digital based, this aims to make these values more attractive, innovative and easier to access. Based on this background, researchers are interested in creating a digital comic model, with the aim of being a medium to instill the values of the country's defense for the young generation of Indonesia. using the Research and Development approach (R&D) with data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, literacy studies and documentation studies. The subjects used in the study were youth organizations and students who were in five big universities in West Java, namely Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Padjajaran, Universitas Islam Negeri and Institut Pertanian Bogor. From the results of this research, it can be seen that first, the urgency of the management of the values of nation defense starts from developing characters such as patriotism, willingness to sacrifice, setting hearts to the ideology of Pancasila and being part of the initial nation defense. Second, digital comic media have a positive impact in instilling the values of the country's defense. This research aims to explore, examine, and organize argumentative and theoreticalconceptual information regarding the historical roots and thoughts that become the underlying reasons of making the concept of Pancasila State as Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah. This research employs grounded theory method with data collection methods of interview and documentation. The subjects of this research are the managements of Central Board of Muhammadiyah, important figures of Muhammadiyah, historians, and researchers with their study of Muhammadiyah. The data are analyzed using data reduction technique, data presentation, and conclusion/ verification. This research results to a theory that the concept of Pancasila State as Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah, as idealized by its formulators, can be the reference of policy choice, state practice, and life in the community especially for the citizens of Muhammadiyah in order to capably face the actual challenges that may appear. The integration of such values in the Civic Education will support the structual development of the Civic Education particularly in the life of Muhammadiyah. Therefore, major efforts are needed to re-establish the Pancasila values through learning based on strengthening the character of the Pancasila. The purpose of this paper is to synthesize the steps of character exchange based learning models, synthesize character forms that grow from character exchange based learning models, and evaluate the properness of character exchange based character seeding according to student responses and motivations. The research approach used in this paper is mixed methods by combining the qualitative and quantitative research. The results of this research showed that character exchange based learning models can be implemented through the following steps: elaboration of character crisis situations; management of classes and teaching materials (conventional teaching); group exploration of character crisis situation; solution to the character crisis (in groups); character seeding; analysis, repetition reflection, and feedback. The growing character forms resulted by this model are democratic; nationalism; careless; obedience with rules; honesty; logical thinking; critical;, creative, and innovative. This research method is research and development (R&D). The research data were obtained using interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires for teacher and student needs, questionnaire validators, teacher and student response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest. The research ended with conducting a pretest posttest design one group experiment. The results of this study concluded that the mapping-based pocket learning media can improve the learning outcomes of Civic Education System material at the central level of Class XI of Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 11 Depok City by 38% in the medium category. Paired sample test results paired sample test with SPSS version of IBM 22, obtained Sig (2-tailed) value of 0,000. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0,000 <0.05, it was concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of Civic Education System materials at the central government level before using pocket mapping learning media based on mind mapping and using book learning media pocket based mind mapping. Pop songs communicate their messages through the words contained in each verse of their lyrics, but the song lyrics often do not transmit good moral values. Ambon as the city of music should pay attention to every song that is produced to make sure the songs uphold good moral values in their lyrics. This study aims to find out the subjective evaluation of Ambon City people about the moral values contained in Ambonese pop songs and the efforts of Ambon City/Municipal Government to control Ambonese pop songs circulating in the community. This study used a qualitative research design with a case study method. This method was chosen because the researchers would like to compare in detail and thoroughly the moral values contained in Ambonese pop songs then and now in the perspective of the community, analyse the moral values contained in the songs, and find out the efforts made by the Government of Ambon City as part of its responsibility to develop Ambon as a city of music. The findings show that Ambonese pop songs now convey messages about love, longing, affection, destruction, divorce, and many more messages that have negative impacts on the community; on the contrary, Ambonese pop songs of the past convey messages relating to positive things, representing real social, cultural, economic, comedic, and other events that really happened at that time. The government’s efforts cannot be said to have been successful in the control over the songs. This study investigates elderly hope of happiness and how to provide social insurance ideally by the state to meet the hope. The aim of this study is to gather information related to elderly hope of happiness deeply and comprehensively so that the policies formulated can be relevant to the needs. To achieve the aim, this study used qualitative approach by employing phenomenology research design. The study was conducted in three sites, namely DKI Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and West Java. The data were collected through interview, observation and library research. To collect the data, there are 44 informants purposively selected to be studied. They consist of 32 elderly and 12 key informants from government and non-government institutions. The findings of this study reveal that for elderly, ‘happy’ means getting supports from society, being humanized, gathering with family, and having financial insurance. During this time, the word ‘welfare’ has been focused on the economic and material context; when in fact, these are not what the elderly need. Urbanization as a result of globalization makes the emergence and development of dense and slums in urban areas appear. The purpose of this study is to analyze efforts to build environmental awareness of citizens towards environmental conservation, especially in dense and slums in urban areas. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study method. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the concept of Citizenship Education can be found in building citizen awareness as an effort to preserve the environment in slums. The concept of building slum into a tourist village becomes a new alternative in growing and bringing up new concepts in an effort to build environmental awareness of citizens. Efforts that can be made to build environmental awareness are changing the mindset and behavior of the community to care for the preservation of the environment in which they live. Efforts to build environmental awareness of citizens are implemented through the participation and appreciation of the community to be directly involved by working together to build and organize slums into tourist villages.
