At the University of North Carolina Greensboro, librarians created a platform providing multiple options for creation and delivery of virtual and interactive tutorials. At this University, the tutorials are useful to train patrons on a variety of research concepts. Marini","doi":"10.1080/15228959.2021.1999882","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1080/15228959.2021.1999882","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract This article discusses outreach initiatives that took place during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020–2021 at the Texas A&M University Libraries’ Cushing Memorial Library and Archives, which houses special collections, rare books, and the University Archives. The State of Texas and the Texas A&M main campus reopened earlier than most. The article reflects on how the Cushing Library responded to the circumstances created by the pandemic, including the development of online programs and a blog, while closed to the public. It also examines the combination of online and in-person programming after reopening in August 2020, including a large LGBTQIA+ collaborative exhibition.
