This type of research is included in Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The learning device products developed are syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan, Student Worksheets, and Concept Mastery Test Instruments. Data collection techniques used validation sheets. The data on the validity of the learning device was obtained from filling out the validation sheet by the validators and has been analyzed using a Likert scale. The results of the study based on the assessment of the validators showed that the average value of the validity of all learning tools developed was 88.54% and 92.62% with very valid and reliable criteria. The variables tested were mastery of physics concepts through limited trial activities by providing test instruments for mastery of physics concepts in the form of pretest and posttest which were then analyzed using the N-gain test. Then the average result of the N-gain test for mastery of physics concepts on static fluid material is 0.55 with a moderate improvement category. The documentary video itself is one of the learning media that contains events and phenomena of everyday life that are close to students. Integrating documentary videos with the local content of traditional musical instruments to explain sound wave material can significantly assist students in understanding the material. This study aims to develop a local-based documentary video content of traditional musical instruments on sound waves. This study uses the Research and Development method with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) developed by Thiagarajan by making documentary videos through the pre-production, production, and post-production processes. The development process started from the draft of the learning video and was revised twice based on suggestions and input from 3 expert validators and 3 practitioner validators then a commentary through suggestions from respondents. Then the documentary video was obtained as the final learning media with a validity percentage of 93% based on expert judgment and 89% based on respondent's assessment. The type of research used a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Empang for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The research sample was taken using the cluster random sampling technique so that 27 students of class X IPA 2 were selected as the experimental class and 26 students of class X IPA 4 were selected as the control class. The experimental class was given treatment in the form of learning using a problem-based learning model, while the control class used a conventional model. The instrument used to measure the problem-solving ability of students was a description test which is first tested for the validity, reliability, different capability, and difficulty of question level. The result obtained in the form of the average value of KPM obtained by the two classes in the pre-test was the experimental class of 15,48 and the control class of 13,38 and the average value of KPM obtained by the two classes in the post-test was the experimental class of 88,81 and the control class of 80,73. The result of the data analysis test showed that the pre-test and post-test data were homogeneous and the post-test data were normally distributed and the hypothesis test they were analyzed using the t-test in order to obtain the value of 3,15. The value at a significant level of 5% is 2,007, then the value is bigger then. Thus, it is concluded that there is a positive effect of the problem-based learning model on students' physics problem-solving ability in the matter of work and energy. The method used in this research is a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 30 prospective physics teacher students who were studying at the University of Mataram. Research data were taken using the Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT) and documentation of the study result card (SRC). GEFT is used to determine cognitive style while documentation is used to determine the cumulative achievement index (CAI) of students. Based on the results of the t-test at the 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) with the degree of independence (dk = 2= 28), it shows that there are significant differences in learning achievement between FI and FD students. This type of research uses quasi-experimental methods (pseudo experiments) with untreated control group research design with pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study is all X-class learners. Sampling was done with purposive sampling techniques and obtained class X-MIA 3 as the experimental class and X-MIA 5 as the control class. Experimental classes are treated in the form of a 7E learning cycle model assisted by pocket books, while conventional learning control classes. The instrument used is in the form of a description test with as many as 8 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, and different power and difficulty levels. The research hypothesis was tested using a t-test polled variant. The population of this research was students of class XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3, and XI MIPA 4 for the academic year 2021/2022, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. This study used two classes, namely the control and experimental groups—the Data collection for mastery of concepts using tests in the form of description questions. The research hypothesis was tested using an independent t-test to analyze the difference in the mean scores of pre-test and post-test in both classes using SPSS 16 software. The independent t-hypothesis test resulted in a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.009, more minor than the significance value. Some of the concepts of physics are abstract concepts. Learning abstract concepts requires appropriate media assistance. In this research, we have developed some computer simulations to support the learning concept of mechanics. The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of computer simulation in students’ understanding of mechanics. The sample used is students from the department of physics education who took a mechanics course at University of Mataram. Data were collected using multiple-choice and essay tests and then analyzed quantitatively. Data analysis used the ANAVA test and N-gain score. The result of the research shows the influence of computer simulation on students’ understanding of the concept of mechanics. Improvement occurs in all sub-materials of mechanics. The average for the concept mastery of students in the experimental group is higher than that of the control group. Statistically, the difference in the increase in the concept mastery between the two groups did not significantly differ. Many learning resources are still not integrated with technology that it hinders the attainment of students' problem-solving skills. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of android-based contextual teaching materials on students' problem-solving skills. This research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was all students of class X of SMAN 3 Mataram. The research sample used class X MIA 3 as the control group and class X MIA 5 as the experimental group. The data collection instrument used a test with several problem-solving indicators. Problem indicators used include solving, planning, explaining solutions, and evaluating. Data analysis used t-test and N-gain to see the magnitude of the effect. The results of the t-test showed a data significance value of 0.004. This result is still below the α value (sig. < 0.05), meaning that there is a positive effect from the treatment given. The experimental group got a higher increase than the control group. The difference in the increase occurred for the sub-materials and all indicators of problem-solving skills.
