The research method used is quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was all of class X MIA, totaling 212 students, of SMA Negeri 8 Medan. The research sampling technique is purposive sampling technique. Non-equivalent control group design is the type of the research design. The sample in the study consisted of an experimental class, namely class X MIA 6, and a control class, namely class X MIA 5. The experimental class was treated with differentiated learning strategies, while the control class was treated with conventional learning. The research instruments used were multiple-choice questions and student observation sheets. The average score of the posttest for the experimental class was 76.28 with a standard deviation of 6.9, and that of the control class was 72.08 with a standard deviation of 6.7. The pretest and posttest data obtained have been analyzed and met the prerequisites for testing the hypothesis, namely, the data is normally distributed and is homogeneous. The result of the right-tailed t-test on the hypothesis obtained the value of tcount > ttable, namely 2.608 > 2.002 whit = 0.05. Based on the testing criteria, the accepted hypothesis is H, which means that there is an effect of the treatment that is the use of practicum tool with different learning strategies on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 8 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research aims to determine the extent of student acceptance and enthusiasm in utilizing the LMS after face-to-face classes are reintroduced. The research is categorized as qualitative descriptive research. The research method involved distributing questionnaires to 107 students taking the Applied Physics course from the Chemical Analyst and Mechanical Engineering study programs at the Bandung State Polytechnic during the odd semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The questionnaire responses were processed by calculating the total average scores for each question. Based on the interval scale analysis of acceptance ratings, the research findings indicate that the level of student acceptance towards using E-Learning in the Applied Physics course posts during the Covid-19 pandemic falls under the \" Accepted \" category. It is evident from calculating the overall average score for all statements, which amounts to 403.17 points out of 535 points. Therefore, it can be concluded that utilizing LMS in face-to-face classes is still highly suitable as a support and companion for post-Covid-19 pandemic teaching.","PeriodicalId":34735,"journal":{"name":"JPFT Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika dan Teknologi","volume":"20 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85911157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The quality of prospective teachers refers to their comprehensive abilities in a specific science subject being taught. These abilities encompass conceptual understanding, religious connections, application, and meaningfulness. The research instrument consists of Science Kafah questions with various developed models. The analysis is conducted on the question models and individual items to assess validity, reliability, discrimination power, and difficulty index. The research findings reveal that the Science Kafah question model consists of 1) questions measuring conceptual understanding, 2) questions measuring religious abilities, 3) questions measuring application skills, 4) questions measuring meaningfulness, and 5) questions measuring social skills. Analysis of the instrument shows that out of the 25 tested questions, 20% were deemed inadequate, while 80% met the criteria for good questions. The independent curriculum is used as a solution to answer the demands of the world of education and to be able to create active and creative learning. In learning Physics in schools, its application is rarely exemplified in everyday life. Physics learning is only taught theoretically and has minimal explanation related to the implementation of Physics, so learning becomes less meaningful. Cultural or ethnoscientific approaches are important in implementing learning so that community culture is not lost. It can help improve students' scientific literacy and make science learning more meaningful for students. One of the technology-based learning media that can be developed is Physics educational games. This study aims to analyze the development needs of Physics educational games containing scientific literacy and ethnoscience. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This research data instrument uses observation sheets and questionnaires. Data collection techniques are carried out through methods: (1) observation and (2) questionnaires. The research technique used is the quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The study subjects were 42 grade X students of SMAN 1 Padang. The students are represented by three classes X at SMAN 1 Padang, grouped into high, medium and low-level classes. The results showed that using learning media increased student participation in learning and made it easier for students to understand the material.
