Materials and methods: The study is experimental. Injuries were inflicted perpendicularly to the plane of the rib, to a depth of 5.4 cm, with a knife having a blade spine thickness at the level of penetration of 0.1 cm. The subjects of the study were the anterior sections of ribs 4-6 of individuals of both sexes, predominantly male, aged from 18 to 59 years, which is based on an experimental literature of cutting and stubbing injuries review. In total, 60 experiments were conducted, with 20 injuries each inflicted longitudinally, obliquely, and transversely to the rib lamellar structure. Results: In the macroscopic examination of injuries inflicted at various angles to the lines of the compact layer's lamellar structure, linear-slit-shaped injuries were registered on the external compact plate. When oriented longitudinally in relation to the long axis of the bone, arcuate-slit-shaped injuries were also observed. When a split crack was formed in the blade-spine zone, the crack formed from one of the corners of the blunt end of the injury, extending longitudinally and obliquely along the bone's lamellar structure, with some deviation towards the edge of the bone nearest to the injury. Conclusions: The study identified statistically significant specific morphological features of stab injuries to the ribs caused by a knife with a blade spine thickness of 0.1 cm, taking into account the lamellar structure of the bone tissue, which allows to draw conclusion about the knife's blade spine thickness.

One of the most difficult types of research carried out in the forensic department of the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination is the identification of individuals by bone remains. At the first stage, when examining the discovered bone remains, as a rule, the tasks of determining the belonging of bones to a person, and then racial identity, sex, age and growth of an individual, are set. The set of established characteristics has a decisive role in the further search activities and identification of specific persons. Case description from practice. Human bone remains were found in the forest. It was established that they belong to a Caucasian male. The most likely growth of the victim was 173-183,5 cm. Anatomical-morphological features of the bones correspond to the age of 49-56,5 years. Further, an identification examination was carried out with the study of radiological images belonging to citizen N., 52 years old, including using the method of graphic identification algorithms. It was established that the bone remains belong to citizen N. Conclusion. The above case demonstrates the possibilities of identity identification in a comprehensive study of bone remains and confirms the fact that the problem of identifying unidentified corpses in forensic medicine is still relevant today. However, even today there is no specific algorithm for applying methods for identifying the identity of a corpse in a particular situation, which creates additional difficulties in choosing the most correct method (s) for it. Further modernization and improvement of the methods of identifying the identity of the unidentified corpse is required, and the search for new, simpler, more accessible and objective research methods has both scientific and significant practical interest.

It has played a vital role in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Different types of vaccines have been developed across the globe to combat the pandemic. Adverse events following immunisation including anaphylaxis have been reported for all types of Covid-19 vaccine. Anaphylaxis is common in a person who has previous history of allergic reactions. Adverse reactions develop within minutes or few hours after administration of vaccine. Hence in India vaccine recipients are made to stay in the medical facility for 30 minutes for observation. Here we report a case where a 23 year old female succumbed after 24 hours of taking COVISHIELD ChAdOx1 nCoV- 19 Corona Virus Vaccine (Recombinant). She did not have any symptoms post vaccination during her observation at the medical facility and also did not have past history of allergic reactions. She was brought dead to M.S. Ramaiah Hospital and autopsy revealed pulmonary oedema. Antibodies to Covid- 19, inflammatory markers, serum IgE and coagulation indicators were raised in the post-mortem blood sample. Cause of death was attributed to delayed allergic reaction to COVISHIELDTM vaccine. Newer vaccines can cause fatal allergic reaction sometimes later than what is expected and even when cutaneous reactions may not be present.

The active use of this two-wheeled transport on sidewalks and public roads naturally affects the number of road "incidents," including fatal ones. There is no information about the damage resulting from the collision of electric scooters with pedestrians, and the question of the most "traumatic" parts of the human body with such injuries remains open today. Case presentation: Gr-n A., 75, suffered a fatal brain injury when he was run over by a face driving an electric scooter. He was hospitalized in a medical institution, where he subsequently died. During the autopsy, changes were found to allow us to speak about the exact mechanism of their formation in conditions of scooter injury. Conclusion: According to the literature, injuries associated with the participation of electric scooters occur mainly when falling with the formation of fractures of the bones of the upper and lower extremities. According to various authors, torso injury is extremely rare, and the nature of damage and the category of victims in the studies, as a rule, are not detailed. This case confirms the possibility of forming primary and secondary contact injuries to various parts of the body of a pedestrian. In addition, the case allows you to think about the possibility of identifying the means of individual mobility by the presence of a steering wheel.

However, they are often used for peaceful purposes individually and in combination with other trinitroaromatic compounds (for example, trinitrotoluene). As a result of their use, environmental pollution occurs, followed by intoxication of plants, animals and people. Cases of poisoning by explosives during their production are also described. \u0000In the symptoms of poisoning, there are both general disorders and such specific phenomena as skin staining, impaired physiological efficiency of NADPH-dependent enzymes, genotoxicity and immunotoxicity. \u0000In the course of the study of scientific literature, a trend towards the development of chemical-analytical probes was established. Various options for the sensor surface of the device and methods for detecting compounds are considered. In the determination of explosives, the use of ion mobility spectrometry is widespread, which is very rare for the chemical-toxicological analysis of other groups of compounds. \u0000At the same time, the methods common in the analysis of narcotic and psychotropic substances (GC/HPLC-MS) are also applicable to the determination of trinitroaromatic explosives. However, the presence of nitro groups in their structure complicates such analysis. The solution to the problem is to apply cold injection of the sample directly to the column. \u0000Despite the variety of developed techniques and methods, the possibility of their application to the study of biological matrices is still studied not enough. \u0000It is necessary to conduct additional studies of a chemical-toxicological nature to establish the optimal conditions for extracting the substances in question, the parameters of instrumental analysis, the possibility of storing samples and solving other problems of forensic medical examination.

Various trace evidence are often found on the instruments of mechanical injury, and among them are microparticles of humans damaged organs and tissues. The detection of cells and microparticles of organs and tissues on the instrument of injury confirms the fact of its contact with the human body, which is of great evidentiary value. \u0000Case presentation. The article presents the results of forensic medical cytological examination of biological evidence taken from the knifes blade in the case of multiple penetrating stab/cut wounds of the chest with а lung damage. Microscopic preparations were prepared from the traces on knifes blade, which were stained with solutions of fluorochromes (0.0005 % aqueous solution of atebrine and 0.01 % solution of acridine orange). The study was performed using the luminescent microscope "LEICA DM 2500" (объективы 20х и 60х, окуляр 10х). Within the research the microparticles of striated skeletal muscle, areolar connective tissue and fat tissue with fragments of capillaries and arterioles were detected. The isolated mesothelial cells and type II pneumonocytes were also detected. The fibers of striated skeletal muscle tissue looked like long multinucleated cells with distinguishing cross-striation. Areolar connective tissue was represented by loosely arranged fibers which were embedded in the ground substance. The fragments of fat tissue looked like the "clusters" of round and oval large cells, tightly pressed together, with capillaries and arterioles between. Y-chromatin was detected in the nuclei of most cells. In addition, human blood was found on the knifes blade. \u0000Conclusion. Thus, as a result of the study, tiny particles of tissues and isolated human cells of the male genetic sex were detected, their organ-tissue affiliation was established, which is a valuable diagnostic find, since it confirms the fact of contact of the trauma instrument with the human body.

A case from our practice is of interest not only from the point of view of the frequency of occurrence of this type of poisoning, but also as an example of a complex diagnostic process, including an analysis of the circumstances, clinical data and a set of post-mortem studies, taking into account the detection of a toxicant that has the ability to break down in minimal quantities in the food samples from the scene. Data indicating polymorphism of manifestations of poisoning with synthetic pyrethroids is given. A post-mortem study revealed biochemical and micromorphological markers of this poisoning diagnosed with acute toxic hepatitis, lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, resulted in hepatic and renal failure with laboratory confirmation, excretory and necrotic nephrosis with severe hemocirculatory disorders in internal organs and tissues. Additionally, an experimental model was created on laboratory animals (rats) to confirm the possibility of developing these lesions during the course of poisoning with a synthetic pyrethroid, while in the experimental model not only a similar clinical picture was obtained, but also the same results of laboratory studies. The presented data of foreign studies, a brief epidemiological report, as well as a detailed description of the comprehensive post-mortem diagnosis based on clinical and morphological, toxicology, biochemical, microscopic and experimental data show that in the study of such cases, an individual approach is required for the most accurate answers to the questions and prevention of these poisonings.
