The study on the urgent requirements for the foreign language training of future specialists confirms the relevance of the identified problem, which has not been so far the subject of a special pedagogical study. Education technologies that ensure the effective formation of intercultural communicative competence of future foreign language teachers has been determined as a purpose of the article. The study was based on competence-based, student-oriented, intercultural, communicative activity-based and systematic methodological approaches, as well as methods: analysis of pedagogical and methodological sources on the research topic, comparison, induction, deduction, study and generalization of the experience of interactive learning in higher education, as well as the formation of students’ intercultural competence by means of interactive technologies in global and national practice. The article provides the author’s definition of intercultural communicative competence of a foreign language teacher and the structure of the investigated phenomenon. The ideas of scientists and practitioners about the impact of interactive teaching technologies on the foreign language training of future teachers became the basis for determining the author’s position on the essence of interactive technologies and highlighting those interactive technologies that allow future foreign language teachers to form intercultural communicative competence. The following types of interactive technologies are referred to such technologies by the author: CLIL technology, Flipped Classroom technology, case technology, IBLL technology, simulation game technology. In the context of the research problem solving, the expected results in the formation of intercultural communicative competence of future foreign language teachers, their mastery of integrated methods and interactive teaching technologies, which allow students of educational institutions to transfer the skills of effective intercultural interaction, are substantiated. The main research methods are theoretical methods aimed at creating theoretical generalizations that allow us to consider the Telegram channel as a means of developing cognitive activity in adolescents; a survey identifying messengers preferred by schoolchildren, digital resources and devices for obtaining information; psychodiagnostic methods aimed at studying the level of development of cognitive activity in schoolchildren in the subject area “history”; analysis of messengers, which involves the identification of functionality; a formative experiment aimed at developing cognitive activity through the presentation of various types of educational content in the Telegram channel; monitoring the cognitive activity of schoolchildren in history lessons; methods of mathematical and statistical data analysis (T-test, Spearman’s test). The analysis of messengers has made it possible to define Telegram as an accessible digital tool for use in educational activities in order to present educational content to schoolchildren. The structure of the Telegram channel is presented: the selected content is subjected to psychological and methodological analysis. Dynamics has been found in the change in the level of cognitive activity of schoolchildren in the subject area “history” (t = 2,763 at r ≤ 0,01) and self-assessment of cognitive interest (t = 3,574 at r ≤ 0,001) after schoolchildren used educational content posted on the Telegram channel. There has been an increase in interest in learning, a decrease in the number of schoolchildren who are passive during the lesson and are often distracted from educational activities, as well as the activity and independence of adolescents in studying the subject. To make a conclusion it should be outlined that the Telegram channel acts as a learning tool that develops the motivation for cognition, acting as a motivating force for the process of cognition and determining the effectiveness of educational activities, evokes positive emotions in the use of digital tools in training, actualizes the development of new information for the purpose of its practical application and appropriation of new knowledge. Firstly, the current year has shown even greater importance of the media as a social institution in preserving the integrity of the state, its multicultural and ethno-confessional basis. Secondly, the media are one of the main means of disseminating knowledge about the history and ethnoculture of the peoples of the Russian Federation, form ethnographic literacy of the population, and contribute to civic identity and patriotism. Thirdly, the information support of the state national policy of Russia is one of the directions of the Strategy of the State National Policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025, the main document of strategic planning that determines the nation of Russia. In this regard, the article emphasizes the importance of the discipline “Ethno-Journalism” in the main educational program in the direction of 42.03.02 Journalism. The purpose of the study is to identify and systematize educational practices in the field of ethnopolitics used in the educational process of student journalists to determine the dominant pedagogical approaches in preparing students to work with ethnic issues. The empirical basis of the study has become the working programs of the disciplines “Journalism in ethnocultural interaction”, “Journalism in ethnocultural space”, “Ethnocultural problems in the media”, the teaching of which is carried out at the Altai State University, Kazan Federal University, St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Penza State University. Based on the method of studying pedagogical experience and qualitative analysis of work programs, the approaches of the work programs’ developers in choosing topics to ensure the effective interaction of ethnological, ethnopolitological and journalistic components in the training of student journalists to work with ethnic issues have been systematized. Students are invited to study fundamental topics from the field of ethnology, introduce ethnopsychology in the terminology in the context of the profession of a journalist, and give an idea of cultural processes and phenomena. The topic is promising for further research aimed at determining the quality of education of student journalists in the field of ethno-journalism, determining their orientation in ethno-political processes and phenomena, ethno-cultural specifics of the peoples of the Russian Federation. It is also possible to study the literature disciplines recommended in work programs. Most of the theoretical reviews and practical recommendations aimed at solving this problem are based on the concept of reading literacy proposed in the PISA tests. When teachers developing methodological recommendations for the development of reading skills, they often lose sight of the fact that PISA texts and tasks are aimed at control, and not at the development of reading literacy. The authors of the international system for monitoring reading literacy apply the method of working with text when learning a foreign language and focus on information skills. If we use a similar technique to work with text in our native language, we will violate the patterns of perception and understanding of what is read, described in the studies of psycho- and sociolinguists. That is why the article discusses the methodological grounds for correcting the methodology for developing the reading literacy of primary school students. Based on the theory of speech activity, sociolinguistic studies of the text and the provisions of functional stylistics, the processes of perception and understanding of the text in the native language are described, the necessary components of meaningful reading are identified, which makes it possible to ensure progressive movement from a more primitive level of understanding of the text to a deeper one. Diagnostics of reading skills in sixth graders was carried out, gaps in the reading actions of students were identified. As intermediate results of the study, methodological materials for the development of reading literacy are presented, they are developed taking into account the described methodological foundations and difficulties found during the diagnostics. The continuation of the experimental work will make it possible to correct the content and methods used in methodological practice for the development of students’ reading literacy when working with texts in their native language. The relevance of the study is determined by the constantly increasing number of international applicants who commence their studies by learning the Russian language. The scientific significance of the research is grounded by a paucity of studies investigating the most effective techniques of teaching a non-native language. An expert assessment has been used as a main research method where 74 teachers with extensive teaching experience participated. In the course of the study, the experts ranked the techniques to intensify teaching Russian as a foreign language according to their effectiveness. It has been found that at the initial stage of training, teachers should use communicative trainings and master the most common vocabulary with learners; apply communicative games and active forms of work; purposefully acquaint students with the methods of productive memorization. At the advanced stage of training, it is possible to intensify the learning of Russian as a foreign language through using technical teaching aids, computer programs and Internet resources; systematically monitoring the effectiveness of the learning process; avoiding translations in communication with students. In the research, the participants supported the idea of providing psychological and socio-cultural assistance to international students by creating a favorable learning environment, motivating students to active independent work, and organizing their systematic interaction with native speakers. The research results can be used by the organizers of the process of pre-university training and by language teachers to optimize the educational process. It is known that an important role in the formation of a general, socio-psychological climate in the process of socio-professional adaptation of a person is influenced by pedagogical work at the university, which solves a number of fundamental and important tasks, such as the formation of a civil position of a person based on the spiritual and moral values of students who have positive motivation for educational activities. In addition, corporate culture is the most important component of the culture of human interaction in professional activities. The author analyzes the study on the example of the “Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University” Pedagogical Institute in Ulan-Ude. The experiment involved 64 students with a bachelor’s degree, from I–IV full-time courses, studying in the areas of training “Psychological and pedagogical education” and “Pedagogical education”. This paper substantiates and presents the diagnostics of the study of students’ corporate culture. Among the research methods, the following were used: the test “Self-assessment of the parameters of the image of a business person” (an adapted version of the method of M. Spillane), the test of Ch. Sishora to determine the index of group cohesion, a questionnaire on the level of development of reflexivity (A. V. Karpov). The results based on the conducted surveys of respondents, which allowed us to determine the process of forming the corporate culture of students in the educational environment of the university are described by the author. The data obtained in this way have been confirmed and formed the basis for future studies of the process of forming a student’s corporate culture in the educational environment of the university. The purpose of the article is to outline the main directions for updating the content and organization of geographical education in non-geographic specialties. The main general scientific method is the reflection of pedagogical experience. The second method is the design method. In updating the content of geographical education in non-geographic specialties, it is necessary to design not just targeted, but exclusive courses. Such educational “intellectual products” must be highly competitive in order to attract students from various universities in the country. Presentation and promotion of new courses is possible within the framework of a single interuniversity educational portal (platform). In this regard, the experience of existing educational platforms and electronic library systems is interesting. However, it is necessary, in our opinion, to synchronize the educational process. The creation and smooth operation of such a single platform will ensure the academic exchange of resources, the possibility of joint work of teachers and students, including the use of remote technologies, and in the presence of a system of metric indicators, a comprehensive assessment of activities. Updating the content of geographical education should take place not only through the introduction of new directions into the educational process, but also through the use of new schemes of scientific explanation in traditional courses. New explanatory schemes in geography allow you to change the content of the courses. Geography should be multi-scale, that is, cover all levels: global, national, regional and, if possible, local. Regional (the level of the subject of the Russian Federation) and local (the level of the city) remain out of sight. However, the area of their creative abilities and giftedness development remains an unexplored and rarely realized aspect of the socialization of such children. The analysis of the available scientific and methodological studies shows that almost in the absolute majority all of them are devoted to the development of artistic, musical abilities, applied creativity, etc. The modern educational environment makes available resources for the intellectual development of children with disabilities, providing them with the same opportunities as children without restrictions (with the exception of children with developmental delay). Federal Law No. 273 suggests doing this as part of additional education, the potential of the process of studying subjects is practically not used. One of the reasons is the insufficient number of scientific and methodological studies on the development, including intellectual giftedness in children with disabilities, which has its own specifics. Each subject has significant potential for this, but the necessary methodological materials and recommendations have not been developed. The authors discuss the theoretical foundations of the teachers’ methodological competencies formation in the organization of the development of students with disabilities (children with visual impairments) creative abilities based on the content of the subject. The methods used are analysis of pedagogical and methodological sources; modeling; questioning, study and generalization of experience. Citizenship and socially significant qualities have become more relevant than ever before in the light of recent political events. In the article, the author relies on the works of both the classics of Soviet and Russian Pedagogy, as well as the latest works of scientific teachers devoted to the problem of socially significant civic qualities of young people. Various positions are considered in relation to the category of citizenship, the relationship between the terms citizenship and patriotism is determined. The definition of the category “citizenship” and the essential content of this category are given. Civic qualities, in our opinion, characterize the ability of an individual to actively manifest their civic position through socially significant, practice-oriented activities. The experience of conducting an acceleration program for the development of socially oriented student initiatives is analyzed. Within the framework of project-educational intensives, a full cycle of search, selection, evaluation, examination, support and monitoring of projects takes place. The influence of participation in the acceleration program, development of project ideas, discussion and presentation of projects, as well as the implementation of projects on the degree and level of civic consciousness of student youth is studied using the example of an experimental group of students who participated in the accelerator of student projects. The structure of the acceleration program is considered, the stages of implementation are determined, and examples of specific student projects are given. The practice of holding events aimed at the formation of civic qualities of student youth is generalized. Twice she was the head of the department; she created a master’s degree in geographical education at the department. In 2021, she celebrated her 70th anniversary, and in 2023 the department celebrates its 70th anniversary. The fate of Nina Gyndunovna is closely connected with the history of the department. Nina Gyndunovna has her own view of this history, which is of great interest both for historical and scientific research on the geography of higher education in the Transbaikal Region and for students, graduates, teachers who have connected their lives with geographical and pedagogical sciences. Doctor of Sciences Gomboeva has tried to highlight the activities of all teachers, to characterize their best qualities. Scientific researches by N.G. Gomboeva fit into the direction of medical geography, or rather, they can be defined as the geography of the physiological adaptation of a person to the physical and geographical conditions of the Transbaikal region.
