Susanti","doi":"10.22437/edumatica.v12i02.16933","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22437/edumatica.v12i02.16933","url":null,"abstract":"This article describes the results of developing Learning Cycle 5E teaching tools that are valid, practical, and effective to facilitate students' conceptual changes in Statistics and Data Presentation material. The Four-D model was used to develop this research. The quality of the product is measured through the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching tools. The device's validity is measured by its relevance and consistency using expert judgment. The device's practicality was measured using a practicality assessment questionnaire, distributed to 5 Mathematics teachers and 20 eighth-grader. Effectiveness was measured through a small group trial involving 1 Mathematics teacher and 28 eighth-grader students. The results showed that the teaching tools developed met the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. Learning tools are declared valid, with the validity score for lesson plans being 0.89, student worksheets being 0.86, teacher book being 0.78, and student book being 0.80. Learning tools are declared practical with a practicality score where the teacher's response is 80.31% in the practical category, and the student's response is 79.19% in the practical category. Kemampuan literasi numerasi adalah kemampuan yang menjadi dasar untuk peserta didik dalam mengerjakan penyelesaian masalah matematika dan merupakan salah satu dari indikator penilaian Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis kemampuan literasi numerasi ditinjau dari efikasi diri pada peserta didik tingkat SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data diambil menggunakan angket dan instrumen tes essay. Subjek pada penelitian merupakan peserta didik yang mewaliki kategori efikasi diri, yakni peserta didik dengan kemampuan rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Hasil penelitian didapat bahwa peserta didik kategori efikasi diri tinggi memenuhi 4 (empat) indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi, yaitu, proses pemahaman masalah, proses pemodelan masalah, proses penggunaan konsep dalam menyelesaikan masalah, dan proses menginterpretasikan dan mengevaluasi masalah. Peserta didik dengan efikasi diri sedang memenuhi 3 (tiga) indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi, yaitu proses pemahaman masalah, proses pemodelan masalah, dan proses penggunaan konsep dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Sedangkan, peserta didik dengan efikasi diri rendah memenuhi 1 (satu) indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi, yakni proses pemahaman masalah. The method used in this study is a research and development method by following the steps of level 3 development. In this study, the product developed was augmented reality learning media. Data collection techniques are unstructured interviews, questionnaires and tests with information sources from mathematics education lecturers, two junior high school teachers as material validators and informatics engineering lecturers as media validators. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis. The research instrument used a learning outcomes questionnaire, geometry learning outcomes test, and documentation. The results showed that the development of augmented reality as a learning medium can be used to have a positive influence on the effectiveness of lessons in the classroom. But on the other hand, the weakness of augmented reality media is that students must use a minimum Android-based smartphone device and have a camera in it. The research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach in which the data were collected through test and interviews by taking 30 tenth grade students at Santo Joseph Senior High School Denpasar as the subjects. Students were given 6 math problems, which were then analyzed for errors and followed by interviewing students to find the cause of their errors. The results of the percentage of student errors based on the type of error were incomplete answers at 46.8%, technical errors at 25.5%, errors in understanding the previous material at 16.6%, language misinterpretation at 5.5%, data misuse at 4.5%, and unverified solutions at 1.1%. From the results of the interviews, it was found that the causes of the errors were poor time management, low motivation to try to solve problems, not understanding the problem, not doing re-examination, being careless, errors in assuming that occurred due to students' spontaneous thinking without examining the meaning of the problem, students did not understand the concept that was related to procedures in solving problems, and less attention to the results of the answers made. Penerapan pembelajaran di rumah menjadikan siswa sekolah dasar kurang terbimbing sehingga penyampaian materi pun kurang maksimal. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat dapat mempermudah pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika bagi siswa sekolah dasar yaitu dengan penggunaan media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi operasi bilangan, aplikasi ini diberi nama DGMATH. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah usability test, yaitu model usability heuristic dan System Usability Scale. Model usability heuristic dengan lima (5) indikator usability yaitu learnability, memorability, efficiency, errors dan satifaction yang ditujukan kepada empat (4) orang ahli. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah empat indikator termasuk kedalam kriteria baik sekali yaitu sebesar 4,5 untuk indicator learnability dan satisfaction, untuk indikator memorability dan efficiency sebesar 4, 125 sedangkan 3,5 untuk indicator errors dimana termasuk pada kriteria baik. Salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik adalah dengan menggunakan modul digital yang didesain untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, yaitu modul digital berbasis STEM yang berorientasi pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul digital berbasis STEM untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar validasi yang diisi oleh ahli bidang pendidikan matematika, lembar penilaian kepraktisan pendidik dan peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar dengan soal pemecahan masalah. Kualitas modul digital yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan. Hasilnya adalah modul digital yang dikembangkan termasuk pada kategori valid dengan persentase keseluruhan sebesar 88,67%, dan kepraktisan modul digital dilihat dari respon peserta didik dengan persentase 87% serta respon pendidik 83,90% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Aspek efektivitas berdasarkan tes hasil belajar dengan soal pemecahan masalah mengalami peningkatan ditinjau dari hasil pretest dan posttest dengan perolehan N-gain sebesar 0,69 kategori sedang. The teaching materials are in the form of flipbooks that are integrated with live worksheet and youtube applications and are presented online to students via links. This research is motivated by the lack of teaching materials that are suitable for learning in the pandemic period and the lack of learning activities that involve students to actively participate in finding mathematical concepts. Many teachers do not have teaching materials because they follow the learning system from home. As a result, students also do not have a guide to study the material independently so that teachers and students alike have difficulty in carrying out the learning process. Therefore, to help students understand the material with a series of daily activities that can be done at home, students are given teaching materials that can be accessed independently. This research is a design research with the type of development study. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMPT IT Ar Raihan Bandarlampung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan soal tertulis yang dilanjutkan dengan wawancara terstruktur. Subjek pada penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VII yang dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan hasil jawaban siswa tersebut dapat memberikan proses transisi representasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua proses transisi representasi yaitu pictorial ke simbolik dan simbolik ke pictorial. Representasi pictorial-simbolik, dimulai dengan mentranslasikan informasi soal ke bentuk ilustrasi gambar melalui perbedaan ukuran dan banyaknya kue, mengintegrasikan ilustrasi yang dibuat melalui perhitungan dengan cara mempartisi menjadi beberapa bagian yang sama menggunakan garis-garis pemotongan sebagai proses modifikasi/penyederhanaan. Representasi simbolik-pictorial, ditunjukkan dengan menemukan kunci permasalahan “kue diberikan secara merata kepada orang” dan mentranslasikan informasi ke bentuk perhitungan, kemudian mentransformasikan dengan menyederhanakan hasil perhitungan berdasarkan kunci permasalahan, hasilnya ditranslasikan ke bentuk ilustrasi gambar berbentuk lingkaran yang dimodifikasi dengan mempartisi menjadi beberapa bagian. Hubungan representasi yang ditunjukkan melalui bentuk perhitungan simbolik dengan ilustrasi gambar memiliki kesamaan solusi atau tidak. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan DDR (Didactical Design Research) di mana baru pada tahap kajian learning obstacle. Instrumen untuk mengkaji learning obstacle didesain berdasarkan literasi Matematis PISA 2021. Kemampuan konsep keliling segiempat siswa akan sangat berpengaruh pada pembelajaran selanjutnya, terutama untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan topik selanjutnya. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah enam siswa di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Swasta di Kota Bandung. Partisipan 1 (P1) adalah siswa kelas VIII, Lima Partisipan lainnya (P1, P2, P3, P4, P5) adalah siswa kelas IX. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara modul digital berdasarkan beberapa penelitian terdahulu dinilai praktis dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Oleh karena itu, modul digital daring digunakan sebagai media pembantu dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa melalui pembelajaran berbantuan modul digital daring. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IX dari salah satu SMP Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Majalengka sebanyak tiga orang dengan kemampuan kognitif yang lebih baik dari siswa lainnya. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian: (1) S-1 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi 5 dari 6 sub indikator; (2) S-2 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis sedang mampu memenuhi 3 dari 6 sub indikator; (3) S-3 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah mampu memenuhi 3 dari 6 sub indikator dengan kesalahan dalam penyelesaian yang lebih banyak.
