In this study, researchers used a qualitative research approach with field research methods. The subjects of this study are all lecturers and students in this institution, where researchers present data obtained from observations and interviews described by data sources. This research data is from educational institutions, community environments, and community organizations. The qualitative research approach aims to understand the meaning of conditions and situations in people's social interactions. Researchers must be directly involved to understand these conditions and phenomena. Data from this study cannot be obtained by just one field entry but must be broad in observing events that occur in the field. The data collection methods in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis is carried out using the analysis theory proposed by Miles and Huberman, starting with data reduction, then data presentation, and finally, concluding. The result of this study is that there are at least four curriculum modules in this institution. First, The grammar curriculum, which is the Arabic learning curriculum, is classified according to grammar subjects. Second, the Situational approach to Arabic is taught according to the student's situation. Third, the Functional approach is learning according to a general function before teaching others. Fourth, Multidimensional approach, namely teaching Arabic in terms of linguistics, communication, and cultural aspects. The lack of media allows students to interact with native speakers. It encourages researchers to analyze holistically how to use the HelloTalk application as an alternative media for increasing writing skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design—data collection techniques through observation, interview, and documentation. The data collection tools are based on pre-test and post-test scores, observation sheets, and a list of questions from interviews. The analysis technique used is Milles Huberman's theory. The results show that the HelloTalk application can provide opportunities for students to increase creativity and critical thinking. The ability students' showed an increase in score to 75.3. This result is indicated by using chat themes in broader writing skills and interaction with native speakers to explore information on the language being learned. In addition, the process of correcting writing errors can be corrected immediately. The findings of this research indicate that using the HelloTalk application increases the intensity of Arabic writing skills. This research is library research, and this research is descriptive qualitative literature research. The Grade X Arabic book published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 is the primary source of information for this essay, which is also supported by other written sources such as books, periodicals, etc. Referring KMA (Keputusan Menteri Agama) is a Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 183 of 2019; it is explained that all types and assessment techniques must be directed at measuring the attainment of higher-order thinking skills or HOTS. This class X Arabic book published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 is an implementation of KMA (Keputusan Menteri Agama), is Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 183 of 2019. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis to understand the symbolic messages contained in documents, paintings, dances, songs, literary works, and others as unstructured data. The data collection technique used is the observation and note-taking technique. Listening in the context of this study means reading, which is then recorded to document the data obtained. The data analysis technique used is the equivalent referential technique to find out grammatical units such as euphemisms and dysphemisms, while to analyze the background of the use of euphemisms and dysphemisms, pragmatic equivalent analysis is used. Based on the results of an analysis of data obtained from the official social media of the Ministry of Health of Kuwait, many euphemistic and dysphemistic forms were found in conveying information regarding the latest matters and developments regarding Covid-19 in the country of Kuwait. It is used for specific purposes. The purpose of using euphemistic forms is to avoid mentioning negative reality, which aims to minimize the harmful effects of utterances that seem scary, worrying, make noise, offend, hurt, disrespect, or violate social norms. Euphemistic forms also aim to evoke an optimistic attitude toward residents in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. Various kinds of problems arise in learning to write Arabic because writing skills are skills that combine various disciplines. Therefore, teachers must continually innovate in the learning process, such as choosing a learning model or using various learning methods, one of which is gamification-based Arabic learning. Gamification is a modern educational strategy popular in the West, namely educational stimulation by applying game elements and principles in non-game contexts. This article describes Gamification's use in teaching high school students writing skills. The research method used is the descriptive method with the desk research method. The results of the study show that the use of Gamification in teaching writing skills can improve the quality of learning, especially in Arabic, so that students can master writing skills in an easy and fun way, and can lead to the development of teaching writing skills in a social context following their interests, motivations, and needs Student. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis morfologis dan semantik, dimana penelitian ini diarahkan untuk menganalisis perubahan bentuk dan makna kata, Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengumpulkan kata-kata pinjaman dan kemudian menganalisis dan menjelaskan dengan bantuan kamus, buku morfologi, semantik dan terjemahan. Adapun pendekatan yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 1.137 kata serapan yang ditemukan peneliti dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI), dan pada kata serapan bahasa Arab terdapat perubahan bentuk (kelas kata) kata dan semantik (makna) kata. Adapun perubahan pada bagian kata, dimana perbedaan tata bahasa antara bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia menyebabkan perubahan bentuk (kelas kata) kata pada beberapa kata serapan. Perubahan ini meliputi perubahan dari kata benda menjadi kata sifat; dari kata benda menjadi kata kerja; dari kata benda menjadi kata benda dan kata sifat; dari kata benda menjadi kata benda dan kata kerja. Adapun perubahan bentuk makna dibagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu: perluasan makna, penyempitan makna dan pergeseran makna. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen dengan model perbandingan kelompok statistika. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan tes. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan kelas 6 siswa MI Talegong Asli yang berjumlah 45 siswa. Seluruh populasi ini menjadi sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah diperoleh nilai keterampilan siswa kelas kontrol sebelum menggunakan media permainan teka-teki silang dan susun kata menunjukan hasil nilai rata-rata berjumlah 40,89 dan sesudahnya terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 46,96. Diperoleh nilai keterampilan siswa kelas eksperimen sebelum menggunakan media permainan teka-teki silang dan susun kata menunjukan hasil nilai rata-rata berjumlah 46,66 dan sesudahnya terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 88,71. This thinking is that strip story media are pieces of paper often used in foreign language learning. Besides being cheap and easy to make, strip story techniques are simple and do not require special skills. This medium is effective in studying Arabic because it can provide skills for students and make them as fresh as learning, especially in Arabic writing skills. The study used normality, homogeneity, hypothesis (simple regression), and percentage tests. The result of this study was that students' ability to write without using Strip Story media in the control class was an average score of 74, a median of 87.50, a minimum of 52, and a maximum of 100. Students' ability to write skills using media strip stories in high experimental classes can be seen from the pre-test results with an average of 83, a median of 90.51, a minimum of 71, and a maximum of 100.
