Although many studies have defined and distinguished the words affect, mood and emotion, such terms are still used interchangeably. Thus, in this study, a systematic literature review was implemented to summarize and evaluate the current states of the arts on computational modeling of mood. From three online databases including IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect and Springer Link, 825 scientific articles were extracted. Furthermore, through the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses) Statement, 9 articles were selected for the review. These resulting articles were reviewed based on several categories including the aim of the study, the study population, the measurement of mood, the basic emotion dimension, and proposed computational model, as well as evaluation. Therefore, it is highly important to know well ahead the occurrence of earthquakes in order to reduce the number of victims and material losses. Earthquake prediction is one solution to reduce such disastrous effect. The Earth's electric field signal is one of potential features that can be used for earthquake prediction generated from the released energy through a sudden dislocation of the segment in the earth's crust, this signal has become one of the potential features to predict the earthquake, since it has significant changes in the amplitude of the signal prior to the earthquake. The significant changes of the Earth's electric field signals prior to the earthquake are detected and utilized in this work. This paper presents the development of the Graphical based monitoring system for the earth's electric field. The system uses a graphical user interface (GUI) developed using MATLAB ®. The work is illustrated on earthquake data which occurred in Greece, between January 1, 2008 and June 30, 2008. In that period of time, thirteen earthquakes had occurred. Nowadays, the concept of commercial CRN (i.e., existence of primary and secondary users in licensed bands) is gaining popularity in wireless communication research. In fact, scarcity of bandwidth due to large number of wireless devices in different networks guides the unlicensed ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band to a saturation state. However, in CRN, at the absence of primary user, opportunistic medium access into licensed bands by the secondary users in different channels renders better bandwidth provisioning. The main concern and challenge for the CRN is channel rendezvous amongst the secondary users to discover the neighbours. A large number of existing works propose the channel rendezvous solutions using pseudo random channel hopping (i.e., switch from one channel to other) sequence. However, we argue that pseudo random sequence cannot provide efficient channel rendezvous in many scenarios and sometimes even the secondary users do not discover their neighbours. Hence, in this paper, we propose a channel hopping sequence method using the Tower of Hanoi (ToH) algorithm for multi-channel rendezvous amongst the secondary users of CRN.
