This study designed, developed and evaluated an ICT artifact, including Facebook's page and groups based on Cruz and Carvalho framework for practicing collaboration and research on meaningful learning of the Quran. All features utilized be evaluated by library-based research, observation, Facebook's metrics and interviews based on activities and interactions amongst students and all users in Facebook page and groups with design science research methodology (DSRM). This study shows students and learners could practice, collaborate and regulate their knowledge in this platform, using developing artifact, and enhance their critical thinking and religious awareness. During this period, adolescents experience rapid and marked physical, cognitive, emotional and social changes. As a result of these changes, often, they become restless and have conflicts with family members, at school and with peers. This paper aims to study whether giving one hour of intervention would be an effective way for adolescents to solve their conflicts. This investigation is important because through observation, adolescents who have conflicts, tend to run away from it by engaging with media, including computers, television and mobile phones. Through this study, the researchers tried to examine whether one hour of psychosocial intervention conducted after school is effective in helping adolescents to increase skills and knowledge to deal with the conflicts. It is hypothesized that students who participate in the program score higher in resilience and family social interaction measures than students in the control group who do not participate in the intervention. To test the hypothesis, 31 form four students were randomly assigned to either the experimental (n=16) or control (n= 15) group. Those who were in the experimental group received 10 intervention modules while those in the control group did not receive any intervention module. The results indicate that the scores for family social climate measures increased significantly after the intervention. Also, it was found that there is a significant difference in the post-test scores between the experimental and control groups. Thus, providing knowledge and skills to deal with the conflicts for at least one hour for ten consecutive weeks could help adolescents to develop resilience and positive interaction with family members. There are challenges and dilemmas in recognizing values and ideals in culture on an interface design. As value added in the interface design related to culture, elements of culture values should play an important root so that users are encouraged to feel the beauty of meaning in the interface. Culture-Centred Design (CCD) is applied, thus a redesigned interface prototype, incorporating Islamic values for Muslim users in Malaysia as a target group is discussed. A culturally specific `mosque' is developed to be desktop design and culture based religious icons are created within the design. There are mounting concerns among Muslims regarding online transaction from technological and Shariah perspectives which require researchers to examine. Discussion on the intention to purchase in e-commerce environment can be largely found in the literature; yet, it scarcely looks from the Islamic perspective. Library research is employed to search for information on essential factors underpinning intention to purchase online in e-commerce setting. Review of existing literature sheds light on some conditions related to aspect that influence intention to purchace online such as: Shariah compliant, trust, integrity, competence, benevolence, web quality, third party assurance, trustors propensity, religious commitment, trustworthiness and perceived risk. It further identifies possible ways IDE may help in order to improve visitor learning experience during their visit to historical and cultural heritage institutions. Four related institutions were selected in this study: Taman Tamadun Islam (TTI) and Architectural Museum Malaysia (AMM) which display architectural wonders of past civilizations by means of large replicas; as well as National Museum (NM) and Museum of History and Ethnography (MHE) which are dedicated to safeguarding and preserving the national heritage and history. TTI and NM have adequate general information technology infrastructure and digital exhibits are installed in their exhibition halls. AMM and MHE have less digital exhibits and most exhibits consist of a mixture of posters, artefacts, and replica. During this study, a survey was conducted by means of interview with 311 respondents who are also visitors to these four institutions. The findings of this study suggest most visitors perceived the use of IDE in general will allow easy access to information on national history and cultural heritage. They recommended IDE to be used as interpretation methods in order to make national history and cultural heritage more attractive. Interestingly, when it comes to available exhibition techniques, visitors vary their preferences on IDE over traditional means of exhibits according to the nature of these institutions. Currently, even though there is a student management system that manages the students' records in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), no permission is provided for lecturers to access the system. This is because the access permission is only to top management such as Deans and Deputy Deans of Undergraduate and Student Development due to its privacy setting. Thus, this project proposes a system named Student performance analysis system (SPAS) to keep track of students' result in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT). The proposed system offer a predictive system that is able to predict the students' performance in course “TMC1013 System Analysis and Design”, which in turns assists the lecturers from Information System department to identify students that are predicted to have bad performance in course “TMC1013 System Analysis and Design”. The proposed system offers student performance prediction through the rules generated via data mining technique. In spite of this, there are still some challenges in flexible learning environment which are affecting the performance character of students negatively. These challenges cannot be ignored to produce a skilled professional having moral character through evolving learning environment. This study is conducted to explore the same theme. The objective of study is to evaluate the missing factors in electronic learning environment which may cause of unethical behavior of students. A quantitative method was used to reveal the realities. The sample was consisted of 150 students and 15 teachers involved in online courses. A detail questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents. The finding and analysis of data showed that tools of LMS are providing lot of opportunities for academic institutions but there is lack of required factors which play major role in ethical development of online learner. This paper reviews existing Quaranic search engines and highlight limitations in the design as well as in its data mining ability. In addition, it affects the performance of several natural language processing (NLP) task such as machine translation, information retrievals, summarization and etc. In this study, we present an automatic text normalization system on Facebook chatting based on Hausa language. The proposed algorithm manually developed dictionary that employ normalization of each non-standard word with its equivalent standard word. This is accomplished through modification of the technique employed by [1] to fit Hausa NSWs' formation. However, the vulnerability somehow depends on the user itself, whether they care about their information. This paper examines users' perceptions towards the existence of privacy policy in social networks. The research is intended to evaluate the extent of privacy policy awareness among users and the reason for low level of awareness.
