Reality on the ground in the science learning process is that teachers only use textbooks and have not developed inquiry labs-based teaching materials. The research objective is to develop an integrated science teaching material based on inquiry labs that is valid, practical, and effective. The type of research is research and development (r&d). The test was conducted in class VIIB of MTsN 6 Sijunjung. The instruments used are expert validation sheets and student questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the validation of teaching materials have an average value of 89, meaning are very valid. The average practicality test results for teaching materials are 84, meaning are very practical. This study used qualitative descriptive method approach, which is related to data collection, which aims to describe the condition and situation in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Serang. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, documentation, and triangulation. Boarding School is an integrated educational institution between general education and 'pesantren' education as supporting of teaching learning activity in Madrasah. The aim of implementing more advance and comprehensive education, holistic, the world of science can be achieved and religious knowledge can be mastered. With these developments, Indonesia must prepare young people who are ready for change and able to face the challenges that exist in the 21st century. The 21st century has more complex challenges. Various efforts have been made by the government to meet the demands of the 21st century, including reforming educational standards. The 2013 curriculum requires students to be active in the learning process. Learning methods and models that are expected to be able to develop students' abilities, and in accordance with the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, are problem-based learning. Therefore, researchers are interested in finding the effect of PBL-based teaching on student learning outcomes through meta-analysis with effect size. Based on the analysis conducted on 20 journals related to PBL-based teaching materials, there are three conclusions in this study. First, PBL-based teaching materials are effectively used at the junior and senior high school levels with a high effect size category. Second, PBL-based teaching materials have the highest category of effectiveness in improving science process skills. The cases of HIV and AIDS at the national level in 2000 were 1500 people living with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA) while in 2019 there were 349,882 PLWHA in North Sumatra, and in 2000 there were 30 people living with HIV, while the cases of HIV / AIDS at the level of North Sumatra Province up to August 2019 were 9362 PLWHA. The description of the HIV and AIDS case above describes the epidemic process since the formation of the UIN Sumatera Utara's latHIVa until August 2019. The HIV and AIDS epidemic is like an iceberg phenomenon, which means the numbers of HIV and AIDS cases found above are not the actual numbers. HIV and AIDS do exist. Therefore, WHO (World Health Organization) has formulated that to find out the real numbers, the numbers obtained must be multiplied by 100-200. Thus, if 9362 cases of HIV and AIDS in North Sumatra is  multiplied by 100, then there might be 936,200 cases of PLWHA in North Sumatra. The research is causal comparative research which the data were   obtained by directly surveying respondents through questionnaire. The population in this study were students who finishing their final task, who in semester 8 students students, with total sample size of 67. From the results of the hypothesis analysis simultaneously, a significant value was obtained of 0.000, which means that motivation to graduate on time, the ability to write scientific papers, and the quality of assignment guidance final possess effect on the completion of student final assignments. Research activities are carried out by applying a mixed research method that combines qualitative and quantitative data analysis with the stages of research activities, including literature studies, field studies, data collection, data analysis, and designing learning models. The results show that the AMETTA learning model design is suitable for use as a learning model to improve learning quality based on experts' feedback . This feasibility is also supported by an increase in the percentage of students' learning success, which is significant between the initial and final tests on small-scale (34.28%) and large-scale (38.47%) trials that this learning model is useful for implementation in learning activities. This research uses a type of library research, namely research that uses various literature sources such as books and journal articles to serve as writing guidelines. This article's results indicate that there are steps that must be carried out in the assessment, namely when examining and processing the assessment results. In the stage of checking the assessment results, correcting the students' answers carefully and thoroughly according to the existing scoring guidelines. The raw scores obtained so that they become more meaningful and must be interpreted based on specific and relevant assessment references and needs, namely by benchmarking reference assessments ( PAP) and norm-referenced assessment (PAN). For example, to determine whether students' scores have met the passing grade predetermined , then use a benchmark reference assessment.
