So in the learning process, we need media that prioritizes visuals to make it easier for deaf students to understand the material presented by the teacher. Gamification is one of the most effective learning media because it can present material packaged in the form of game software. The aim of the research is to assist developers in developing gamification by eliminating waste using a lean software development approach. This research method uses the lean assessment matrix method by making process flow diagrams and lean assessment matrices to identify the presence of critical waste. The results showed that the development of deaf students' learning methods used the Lean Software development approach: the number of motions in one game, the game entry process was quite long, and the Latin font was not installed in the application. By eliminating these three wastes, other wastes will be indirectly eliminated because there is a link between the wastes. After the Lean Assessment Matrix process was completed, several solutions were obtained to eliminate this critical waste: making a Future Process Model carefully before giving it to the Developer and making a careful gamification development schedule. By implementing the two Garbage Elimination Alternatives, gamification development can run effectively and efficiently","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44741272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model is one strategy for enhancing competence in this area. This research aims to determine whether or not eighth-graders at a State Junior High School in the Boyolali district of Central Java, Indonesia, can improve their problem-solving skills in mathematics by using the RME learning paradigm. Action research in the classroom is what we call it. Data is gathered through testing, observing, taking field notes, and documenting. Additionally, triangulation methods will be used to verify the accuracy of the data. Data was collected through both direct observation and standardised testing. Problem-solving indicator values, observation sheets, and recommendations for data interpretation are among the devices employed. The data analysis shows that teaching with the RME learning model improves students' capacity to solve mathematical problems. This is evidenced by the fact that all problem-solving indications have been met: There are four stages to any problem-solving process: 1) analysis, 2) planning, 3) execution, and 4) reflection (checking and interpreting).","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48439049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
