This study aims to find out how well pre-service teachers at a private university in Riau, Indonesia, know how to use technology based on their age, gender, and term. After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was time to find out how well pre-service teachers knew how to use technology. In this study, 722 students made up the whole group. This research is a detailed quantitative study that looks into how well teachers-to-be know how to use technology. The tool is a valid and trustworthy Google form with an inquiry. Technology, Mobile/Smartphone, Social Media, Online Safety, and E-learning are the digital literacy factors that are looked into. The results of the studies show that younger pre-service teachers are better at using technology and female students are slightly better at using technology. It fits into the set group for the semester level. Study programmes were used to find out what the average level of digital literacy was. During the COVID-19 outbreak, most pre-service teachers were at an established level of digital literacy. The results of this study show that using technology for online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic makes pre-service teachers better at using technology.","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69814629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to develop an Alquran-based CTL model in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Higher Education, specifically on the syntax design of the Quran-based CTL model. This study used the RD method with the ADDIE model approach. The results of this study were the syntax of the Quran-based CTL model in PAI learning in Higher Education, which were summarized in the acronym OBAMATARE-Alquran, O: direct/orientate, BA: (baca) read Alquran, MA: (masalah) formulate a problem, TA: (tanya jawab) discussion, ask-answer-group/independent (solving problems)/guiding inquiry and displaying results, RE: reflection and evaluation. The syntax uses verses from Alquran relevant to the learning theme. OBAMATARE-Alquran, the Alquran-based CTL model, follows seven CTL activities. Constructivism, inquiry, question and answer and learning community activities could be seen in learning activities when students discussed in groups and investigated the details of the provided problems in LKM and picture/video shows. Then students found roots and problem solutions by exploring information. Students would exemplify ways to solve problems throughout the modelling step of solving problems. Reflections were done on the opening and closing activities. Meanwhile, evaluation in the form of authentic assessment was carried out during learning and at the end. This research is only limited to Alquran-based CTL syntax, requires further trials. This research can be developed in the form of learning modules, learning media and learning evaluation.","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48175108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study's findings will be reliable and useful in the real world. The ADDIE paradigm is being used in this study of development. This study had three phases: The fourth-grade students of a state elementary school in Banjar during the 2022–2023 school year made up the study's population. The data was collected from a group of 35 fourth graders. The data was analysed using quantitative and qualitative methods. The Smart Apps Creator software is being used in this development study; ultimately, researchers use it to create animated educational materials. Expert validation results show that the data generated from these trials are quite valid, with an average of 90% accuracy. In addition, 93 % of students rated animation-based learning material as effective, while 90 % of teachers rated it as useful. Students then finish traditionally, scoring an average of 94% in the very effective category on the numeracy literacy test. This figure establishes animation as a realistic, practical, and successful learning medium for fourth-grade elementary school fractions.","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45397688","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The samples for this study are 20 high schools in Bandung comprising 10 private schools and 10 public schools. A quantitative approach was utilized as the research design. The analytical tools used are multiple linear regression and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results showed that private high schools were more efficient than public high schools in Bandung with an average efficiency rate of 91.49%. The achievements of high school students in the city of Bandung are influenced by the number of teachers, number of staff, number of students, school expenses, and graduate teachers, while the teacher's teaching experience does not affect student achievement. Our findings show that private schools are more efficient than public schools. Meanwhile, the amount of the cost of attending private schools is higher, and they tend to serve a smaller, more affluent population. These results highlight the need for policymakers to consider the trade-off between efficiency and equity when making educational funding and resource allocation decisions.","PeriodicalId":32470,"journal":{"name":"AlIshlah Jurnal Pendidikan","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69814389","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
