Many rate adaptation algorithms proposed, utilizes the multi data rate, primarily according to the current channel quality. Most algorithms do not consider congestion around the network and proper determinant to identify it. In multi rate Ad hoc network, due to mismatched link rate, the node interface queues get overloaded. Thus causing congestion, which consequently result in packet loss, further reducing effective throughput. In this paper, we propose a novel Cross layer QoS aware Multi Rate routing protocol (CQMR) based on nodes queuing load and link state. CQMR focuses on cross-layer interactions between PHY, MAC and Network layer to utilize these multi-rate supports from 802.11b. CQMR algorithm chooses the optimal path with effective data rate and through a less congested network, which is compatible with existing 802.11 implementations. We have implemented CQMR in the NS-2 simulator and conducted extensive simulation studies over network diversity. The proposed structure consists of two inner hexagonal layers and outer three circular layers. The inner hexagonal layers consist of air holes each of diameter d1. Two circular layers surrounding the hexagonal layers have air holes of diameter d2 while the outer most circular layer has air holes of diameter d3. The proposed structure is shown to possess an optimum mode profile. The effective refractive index of the cladding depends on the air-fill fraction of the fiber. Refractive index decreases with increasing air-fill fraction for the same wavelength. It is shown that the negative dispersion coefficient can be controlled by the pitch Λ and the diameter of air holes. Also shown is the linear relation of Birefringence with bit rate. The corresponding graphs of all the parameters are evaluated and plotted. One of the properties of snow is the amount of water that results from melting of snow-pack. The amount of water in snow is known as Snow Water Equivalent (SWE). SWE is useful in many areas like estimation of water availability from snow melt, assessment of snow-pack density etc. The information of density is used to estimate the strength of snow-pack. The knowledge of strength can be useful for the prediction of avalanche prone areas. There are several techniques available for the measurement of SWE. The techniques for SWE measurement are generally invasive and time consuming in nature. Researchers have developed noninvasive acoustic techniques for SWE measurement. But lot of assumptions are taken in these SWE measurement techniques, which results in inaccurate estimation of SWE. A new noninvasive acoustic technique based on use of very directional sound source and associated signal processing method is presented, in this paper. In this paper, MIMO system is realized with maximal ratio combining (MRC) technique that operates over Weibull-Gamma (WG) fading channel where WG forms a generic distribution. Higher order modulation like 16-phase shift keying (16-PSK) and 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (16-QAM) are used with MIMO-MRC for the analysis of proposed system. Simulation and analytical results show that by increasing the values of fading parameters (β and m), SER performance can be improved. The performance of the circuit is enhanced using optimization algorithm with multiple constraints but it require the circuit performance be modeled with mathematical expression. In this paper we use EKV2.6 model parameters which is extracted and optimized on different bins of BSIM3v3 model on 0.18μ technology to design standard analog building blocks like single stage common source amplifier, differential amplifier and OTA using gm/lD ratio design methodology. Finally all the design are validated on HSPICE using BSIM3v3 MOSFET model with matching within limit of 10%. Gap is introduced in the feed line to the elements one at a time. Best frequency independent response is achieved when the second element is fed using gap coupling between the frequency ranges of 6.8 GHz to 15 GHz. The effect of applying the gaps in the feed line has been studied theoretically. The bandwidth of the antenna varies with different element fed using gap coupling. Unlike the other training sequence based estimation methods this method does not require a training sequence to be transmitted with the transmission data to estimate instantaneous channel impulse response. The elimination of training sequence from data frames increases the transmission capability. We perform a computer simulation to compare the performance of blind estimation method with the existing non-blind estimation methods for indoor optical wireless channels. Distance dependency of accuracy of heart and respiration signal from radar output is investigated and verified through simulation. The model is experimentally validated with commercially available motion detector DNO-341. The based band signal containing respiration and heartbeat signatures are low-pass filtered (0.7 Hz) for the respiration and band-pass filtered (0.9-2.5 Hz) for the heart signal.
