This type of research is quasi experiment and the design used is 2x2 factorial. Sampling is done by purposive sampling. Analysis and discussion of data is done descriptively. The result of data analysis can be concluded. First, writing explanatory texts that are taught using discovery learning learning model is better than students taught by conventional learning model. Second, there is no interaction between the learning model in influencing the ability to write explanatory text of students. This directive politeness action has decreased over time in line with the century of global communication and computing. This study aims to describe the shift in the realization of directive politeness act (DPA) among elementary students with a Javanese cultural background. This research method takes the form of qualitative with a dual case study strategy. Sources of research data include all elementary school students and teachers in Surakarta and Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques are carried out by observing techniques actively involved, observing free involvement, and reinforced by FGD techniques. The research data in the form of speech from DPA elementary school students in conducting language activities in a school environment both in formal and non-formal settings. Data analysis was carried out using Leech model of politeness scale technique which was strengthened by politeness analysis with the principle of social, cultural harmony, the harmony of the Gunarwan and Prayitno models. The conducted method is case study. Source of data is native speaker of Samawa language in Sumbawa by purposive sampling. Data collection is conducted by in-depth interview with the informants. Data is analysed by interactive model. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk melihat lirik Bojo Galak sebagai salah satu bahasa yang menggambarkan citra perempuan menggunakan pendekatan semiotik dan linguistik kognitif. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa citra perempuan yang digambarkan dalam lirik lagu Bojo Galak karya Pendhoza menunjukkan citra perempuan yang memiliki superioritas tinggi. Citra seorang perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam lirik lagu Bojo Galak digambarkan, perempuan sebagai subjek superior yang memiliki kekuasaan lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki. Atau singkatnya wanita sebagai kaum yang benar, sedangkan laki-laki sebagai kaum yang tertindas. Hal ini terlihat pada beberapa lirik lagu yang disajikan oleh pencipta. Selain itu, lirik-lirik yang membangun lagu Bojo Galak ini juga merepresentasikan bahwa masih ada laki-laki yang tetap setia dan berusaha mempertahankan rumah tangganya walaupun ia sering tersakiti. The researcher’s effort in the affectivity of Indonesian language learning by using student active learning method, which is the emphasize of student activity in the classroom. This method requires student to interact in the learning process. Beside that, student should also have criticism to the problem that might be happen in the classroom’s learning process. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the learning of Indonesian conducted in the Management class in UIN Syarif Hidayatullah by using student active learning. Through the method of student active learning that has been examined by the researcher in the Management classroom A and B in Economic and Business Faculty of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the researcher has the satisfactory result in the Management classroom A, and the unsatisfactory result in the Management classroom B. The average score of mid-semester test of the Management classroom A is 83,14 (A), The average score of mid-semester test of the Management classroom B is 72 (B). The average score of final-semester test of the Management classroom A is 80,4 (A) The average score of final-semester test of the Management classroom B is 78,43 (B). The research method used is descriptive qualitative with sociolinguistic approach. The data sources from this research are video creators videos on the Youtube.com networking site also known as Youtuber. The data was collected by the method of referring and ably by looking at the video of Youtuber. Youtuber selected based on customer number and audience size on each video. Data were analyzed to find code mixed form, code change, interference and language integration. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian foreign speakers are still influenced by English as well as local languages, such as Sundanese and Javanese. The use of local languages is due to the environmental influence of these Youtubers live. In addition, the emergence of regional language use is also influenced by culture. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The subjects studied were the students of grade 1, amounting to 24 people. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) with data collection techniques through test, observation, and documentation. This data analysis technique using data analysis with interactive model, and in the analysis and data collection activities using 2 cycles that is cycle I and cycle II. The result of the research shows that there is an increase of learning achievement by using interactive multimedia in integrative thematic learning with the value of ≥70 as much as 80% of students, student cooperation with the provision of ≥75 80% and student motivation with the value of ≥75 as much as 80%. So it can be seen the advantages of interactive multimedia is to make learning more fun, can improve the achievement listening integrative thematic learning, foster student potential, improve student cooperation. This research is a qualitative research descriptive. In this study the data collected in the form of facts and information on the application of character education in learning to read fairy tales in grade 3 elementary school students. In this study the data source is teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this study consist of (a) documentation, (b) observation, (c) interviews, and (c) tests. Data analysis technique is done by using interactive data model analysis technique. The result of the research shows that in the learning of reading fairy tales in grade 3 elementary school students in the planning stage, implementation stage, and assessment phase have integrated character education value.
