This watermarking modality was chosen based on the observation that the Turkish syntax allows for a more stable and rich repertoire of tools. The watermarking algorithm utilizes linguistic tools such as dependency parser, tree converter, Wordnet and a lexicon. It embeds message bits in the sentences based on the applicability of tools per sentence, their choice being randomized for stylistic and security concerns. The electrocardiogram (ECG) signals were recorded from 10 volunteer subjects in the sitting position for 5 minutes when mobile phone is open and standby. The process was repeated same conditions while calling the mobile phone, continuously. The largest Lyapunov exponent (LLE) calculation was performed on the HRV obtained from ECG signals. The paired student-t test was applied on the LLE values. The calculating LLE values for the calling condition of mobile phone were found higher than the values belonging to the standby condition of the mobile phone (p<0.05). CVA was successfully applied to pattern recognition experiments like isolated word recognition, image recognition and multi-class cases. It is aimed here to set out a novel application of CVA, word spotting in continuous speech. Two different recordings containing ten keywords were used for training and testing. A Hundred percent successful recognition was achieved with the aid of a pre-calculated decision threshold. However, the aim was to develop an algorithm independent of databases so a method was used to calculate threshold from training set. Again a hundred percent recognition was obtained on test set. In this study, spatial interpolation is implemented by Kriging and random field priors (RFP), which are widely used in geostatistics. Performance of Kriging and RFP methods are analyzed on synthetic TEC data for different trend functions, sampling patterns, sampling numbers, variance and range values of covariance function which is used to simulate the synthetic data, by comparing the normalized errors of interpolations. In regular sampling patterns, as opposed to random sampling, the normalized average error is very close to each other for all methods and trend assumptions. The error increases with variance and decreases with range. It was observed that application of topographic state constraints helped the performance of tracking algorithms for tracking onroad targets. In this paper performance of Root-MUSIC algorithm is studied for wideband signals using NLA and a new approach is proposed. This new approach decreases the mean square error of the arrival angle estimation using Wiener formulation and initial estimate of the arrival angles. This formulation provides many advantages like more discrimination between classes, simpler calculation of projection vectors and easier update of the database with new individuals. We tested the proposed algorithm on the CMU PIE and Yale face databases. The main interference in the system results from the time mismatch of the receving antennas. The robust successive interference cancellation (RSIC) detector is used to detect the signals received from multi receving antennas having time mismatches. The performance of RSIC in nonideal situations such as incomplete channel state information, correlated antennas, impulsive noise is investigated.
