The study is carried out by applying electrostatic forces and varying the dimensions. Nitinol which is a SMA is used for the simulation to get required results. An electrostatic force generated by an applied voltage between the top movable micro-cantilever and fixed ground plane bends the micro-cantilever beam towards the ground plane below it. COMSOL Multiphysics is used to simulate the results. The energy saved by adiabatic logic using FinFET is significant compared to the CMOS. This way of designing a circuit is effective in low speed operations where power consumption is more important than performance. Fin-type field-effect transistors (FinFETs) are promising substitutes for bulk CMOS at the nanoscale. Finfet, a long channel device which improves electrostatic control over device. These low power requirements have emerged due to the advancement in technology where power is more important like medical, mobile phones, hand held devices etc. In subthreshold logic, the circuit operates with supply voltage less than that of the threshold voltage of the transistor and utilizes leakage current as the operating current. This is achieved as the dynamic power consumption is quadratic ally dependent on the supply voltage. To show the results we are implementing 4-bit adder in subthreshold adiabatic logic using FinFET technology which shows that the power consumed by FinFET adiabatic logic will be less than that of normal adiabatic operation operation. The analysis has been carried for 32nm FinFET models using HSPICE simulations. Wind energy has the largest share in the renewable energy technologies with approximately 433 GW of globally installed capacity as of 2015. Share of power production through Wind Turbine (WT) technique is growing day by day and there is an urgent need to control the cost of operation and maintenance of these systems. For early detection of failures or faults we use Condition monitoring (CM) technique for WT in order to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. In this paper we present a method for CM of WT gearbox using vibration data. We have used Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT), Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) technique for feature extraction and Neural network train tool which is based on MLP (Multilayer Perceptron) model for classification. The focus is on the gearbox, as it is typically one of the most crucial components in terms of long average down time and high failure rates. Different strategies are available for reduction of noise. Fractional calculus has been recently applied in various zones like engineering, science, bio-engineering and finance. It has numerous applications, for example, use in differentiation, integral equations, signal processing, fluid mechanics, and electrochemistry. In this work speech processing signal application where Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform (DFRFT) is used which is an essential process for signal processing. DFRFT has DFT hermite Eigenvectors and retains the eigenvalue eigen operate relation as a fractional fourier transform that reconstruct the signal. For the purpose of noise reduction, Blind Source Separation has been utilizing which does not have prior knowledge of original signal. It contains efficient urban mobility, efficient public transportation, e-governance, safety and security, smart lighting system, etc. The main focus of this work is to present a design of street light controller to provide a reduction in power consumption and wireless control which eventually will provide a reduction in the required budget of electricity for street lights. Reducing power consumption leads to a reduction in brightness of lamps. This kind of street lighting states to open street lighting that adapts to movement by cars, walkers or cyclists. The system will work as adaptive street lighting. Lights will be obscured when no action is detected and will light up when some movement is detected. For this situation, the lighting framework is not quite the same as old-fashioned, static enlightenment, or dimmable road lighting that diminishes at pre-decided circumstances. Excessive lighting can be banned by targeted dimming of zones of the city, roads or individual luminaires. According to traffic and crowd, the light intensity will be controlled. This paper also incorporates light sensors which will be useful in a rainy environment. Number of street lights will be controlled by the user at a remote place. The bandstructure of different orientations of PNRs and its modulation by external electric field reveal the semiconductor to metallic transition and excite device scientists for further application. The behaviour of electrons in PNRs is traced in effective mass calculation. Also, we have used two different simulation methods (namely DFT and DFTB) to propose cost effective computation for theoretical calculations. Sensor devices linked to each other via short ranged radios form wireless sensor networks (WSN). In recent development, WSNs are utilized for Internet of Things (IoT) applications like monitoring, automation and control, etc. The data collected is dumped on internet cloud so that easy access to data from remote place is possible. The most crucial feature of sensor device is energy saving as these are battery driven circuits. This work proposes the extension version of a distributed cluster computing technique to save battery energy and extend the WSN lifetime. The modified protocol inculcate cluster formation based on event occurrence, which gives improved results in terms of network lifetime compared to its conventional protocol. Filter clogging is an important problem but it is ignored. A lot of problems faced in vehicles are due to clogging of air filters. The objective of this study is to investigate and compare the effect of different stages of filter clogging on performance and emissions from engine. The experimental work has been carried out on single cylinder four stroke water cooled diesel engine. Readings were taken for five different stages of load, 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% load. Hypothetical situation of filter clogging is created by blocking the filter area in four stages 0%, 25%, 50% and 75%. Results show that BSFC and BTE both increase 10–20%. Most of the work reported in the literature employs deterministic method to model the channel. Since deterministic method is site specific and results into complex models and therefore is not practically viable to model a general wireless communication channel. This paper discusses the estimation of the parameters of the channel like path loss, doppler frequency shift and phase shift using deterministic and stochastic methods for sum of sinusoids model of the wireless multipath channel. The results are compared for both deterministic and stochastic models for different multipath channels and found that stochastic method of implementing sum of sinusoids model results in low bit error rate. The experimentations have been done over a multi-clock processor block on 32 nm node where several algorithms for optimization techniques are used. The used algorithms include optimization features such as buffer sizing, gate sizing, delay insertion, buffer and gate relocation and dummy load insertion, setting of maximum fan-out variation, boundary timing optimization during concurrent clock and data and clock tree synthesis (CCD-CTS), scan chain optimization and power optimization. Each feature has its own algorithm and has gone through stages of improvement. These features are studied and implemented in both classic clock tree synthesis and concurrent clock and data CTS. Though selection of CTS style completely depends on the design complexity but it is observed that generally CCD style CTS gives better results.
