The area has a height up to 825 meters with choppy topography, and a type B climate on the Schmidt-Ferguson scale so that it is a suitable environment for ferns (Pteridophyta). In the last five years, the Kalibendo waterfall area has been developed as a tourist area so that it can potentially affect the diversity of Pteridophyta. This research aims to study the diversity, abundance of species, and the importance index of Pteridophyta in the Kalibendo waterfall. This is a quantitative descriptive research with cruise methods along 650 meters and purposive sampling technique. Results of the study found 4 Ordo, 9 Families, and 20 Pteridophyta Species scattered in the ecosystem of clove, rubber, and river stands. The abundance of Pteridophyta individuals in the Kalibendo Banyuwangi waterfall tourist area was 1029 individuals. The species with the highest abundance value was Pyrrosia piloselloides with 389 individuals, and the lowest was Woodwardia radicans with 2 individuals. The fern species that had the highest importance index (INP) is Pyrrosia piloselloides as much as 53.67%, KR 37.85%, and FR 15.83%. The highest value of H' Pteridophyta is located in the river ecosystem. The time of research was carried out in November. The research site is at Jalan Pasar Hitan Number 69 Sampali, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population of this study consisted of students of class X IPA MAS PAB 1 Sampali. The sample of this study consisted of 26 students for the experimental class and 26 for the control class. The data acquisition technique used is testing. The results showed that the creative thinking ability of the students in the experimental class that used the Treffinger learning model was higher than the control class that used traditional learning. This means that the creative thinking ability of the experimental class is 8.46. While the control is 7.77. These data are supported by statistical analysis where t cout = 2.155. This type of research is a quantitative research in which the research population includes all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sidamanik in the academic year 2021/2022, so up to 175 students. The samples of this study were 70 students of classes XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3. The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice test with a quasi-experimental research type and a non-equivalent control group design. The independent variable is Horay Course Overview and the dependent variable is learning outcomes. The results of the students' data were compared with the norms, and the study result data were analyzed using the N-Gain test and Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that the \"Course review\" method had a great impact on the results of the education of the students of the 11th grade of the 6th grade of Sidamanik in the subject of biology, the material of the body's defense system. The learning outcomes of the students in the experimental class achieved good characteristics, and the control class achieved only sufficient characteristics. The experimental group mean test was 83.14 and the control class mean post test was 76.57. It shows that the N-profit index of the experimental group is 0.706 (high), while the N-profit index of the control class is 0.452 (average). The results of the independent sample test showed the value of tcount(4.226) > ttable(1.995), which means that the Course Review Method can improve the results of students' learning about the immune system and the impact value. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 is 0.000. This research is a research and development (R&amp;D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research instrument uses interview sheets, questionnaires, validation sheets, and tests. Data analysis techniques are carried out quantitatively and qualitativelyThe purpose of quantitative data analysis is to determine the degree of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness. Meanwhile, quantitative analysis consists of finding comments, criticisms, suggestions and observations. The result of the study shows that the worksheets of the students based on the problem-based study developed by 82% (media expert) are correct and feasible. 100% (Subject Matter Expert) and 100% (Language Expert), Student Worksheets are also graded on Teacher Answer Sheet achievement with 90.91% and Student Answer with 93%. Student worksheets are also considered effective if a total N-Gain of 0.76 is achieved in the high category. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the student worksheet is Problem-Based Learning that has been developed is declared feasible, practical, and effectively used in the learning process. Some plants that have been studied as aphrodisiacs. Based on this background, it is necessary to research The aphrodisiac effect of a solution of nutmeg (myristica fragrans houtt.) on the behavior of mice (Mus musculus). This type of research was a qualitative descriptive study consisting of five groups, each with three repetitions. There were 30 mice and each group had 6 mice. The parameters observed were calculating the total percentage of approach (introducing), riding (climbing), and coitus (coitus). The data in this study are descriptive qualitative where the results show an aphrodisiac effect. The primary data were then analyzed descriptively by the research objectives, while the quantitative data were processed by tabulation. Based on the results of the introducing activity study the K2 treatment (0.93 times) was greater than the other treatments, although the value was still small. The results of the research on climbing activity in the K2 treatment (0.55 times) were greater than the other treatments. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach and uses content/document analysis methods. The subject of this research is a biology textbook for class XI high school with cell material consisting of 3 books to be analyzed by researchers, namely the book publisher Bumi Aksara, the book publisher Erlangga, and the book publisher Grafindo Media Pratama. The research instrument used was an analysis sheet of student books based on the Curriculum 2013 Implementation Assistance Activity Guidelines. The results showed that the level of conformity of the content of biology textbooks based on: (1) SKL aspects in books A and B was 93% (very appropriate), and book C was 87% (very suitable). (2) Aspects of Core Competence for book A are 92% (very suitable), and books B and C are 83% (appropriate). (3) Aspects of Basic Competence for Book A 96% (very suitable), book B 85% (very suitable), book C 89% (very suitable). (4) Aspects of Sufficiency of Material for book A 67% (appropriate), books B and C for 50% (not appropriate). (5) Aspect of Material Depth of Book A 75% (appropriate), book B 68% (appropriate), and Book C 71% (appropriate). (6) Aspects of the Scientific Approach of books A, B, and C by 100% (very appropriate). (7) The authentic assessment aspect of Book A is 57% (quite appropriate), book B is 54% (not suitable) and C is 59% (quite appropriate). The average agreement coefficient of the three books is 0.94% (very good). The impact of the environmental approach in learning can bring out students' curiosity about the environment around them, for example through textbooks. The phenomenon of textbooks, especially biology, needs to be reviewed to adapt to the current context, namely the issue of environmental damage. However, in reality biology textbooks do not provide a portion in instilling environmental literacy so that students' environmental literacy is low. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of aspects of environmental literacy in class X high school biology textbooks, to find out whether the class X high school biology textbooks support environmental literacy-based learning, to analyze the scope of environmental literacy in class X high school biology textbooks. Research This is a descriptive study, using a quantitative approach to analyze the Biology textbooks for class X SMA published by Erlangga and Yudhistira. The object of this study was the even semester material in class X high school biology textbooks and the subject of this research was the class X high school biology textbook published by Erlangga and Yudhistira. Selection of research subjects using purposive sampling. The data collection technique used was observation and the instrument used in this study was an observation sheet to analyze the content of aspects of environmental literacy in class X high school biology textbooks on even semester material. This instrument uses a guttman rating scale with intervals (yes/no). The data analysis technique performed in this study used a quantitative descriptive technique. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the level of environmental literacy textbooks for class X high school biology used in the city of Yogyakarta was in the low category. In the odd semester, textbook publisher A achieved a score of 24% and textbook publisher B achieved a score of 23.6%. Whereas in the even semester class X biology book the level of environmental literacy is also in the low category. The percentage in textbooks of publisher A was obtained by a percentage of 21% and for textbooks by publisher B was obtained by a percentage of 37%. Pencapaian prestasi belajar yang tinggi memerlukan perangkat yang menunjang keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Penelitian ini bertujuan (1). Menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang layak digunakan sebagai acuan mengajar bagi guru untuk mencapai suatu pembelajaran yang valid; (2). Mengetahui kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate dan dibatasi pada materi keanekaragaman hayati serta dilaksanakan pada November tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dengan Model Learning Cycle 5e Pada Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati Untuk Siswa SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate dengan nilai validasi untuk Silabus rata-rata 4,31 dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil validasi RPP dengan rata-rata 1,14 kategori kurang valid, dan hasil validasi Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan rata-rata 22,1 kategori cukup valid. Ecologically, seagrass has several important functions in coastal areas, one of which is seagrass as a primary producer in shallow waters which is a food source for several types of organisms. This research aims to find out the types of seagrass plants in the waters of Teluk Buli Village, and find out the pattern of seagrass plant distribution, and find out what environmental factors affect the growth of seagrass plants. This type of research is descriptive explorative, where the data collected includes the types of seagrass plants that have been identified, the pattern of seagrass plant distribution, and environmental factors that affect the distribution pattern of seagrass plants. The method used for data collection is the quadratic method (calculated plot). Analysis of seagrass plant type data using seagrass plant identification manuals, seagrass plant distribution patterns using morista spread index formulas, and environmental factors that affect the pattern of seagrass plant distribution are described and contained in observation tables. The results showed that the type of seagrass plant found in the waters of Teluk Buli Village was a type of Enhalus acoroides. The results of the calculation of the morista spread index showed that the seagrass plant Enhalus acoroides had a clustered distribution pattern with a value of Id 1.
