Kecamatan Sendang merupakan daerah yang memiliki kelimpahan tumbuhan untuk dijadikan obat dan masyarakatnya memanfaatkan tumbuh – tumbuhan sebagai pengobatan tradisional. Ilmu pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai obat ini diwariskan secara turun – temurun. Sehingga dikhawatirkan ilmu pemanfaatan tumbuhan ini akan hilang oleh kemajuan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis, cara pemanfaatan, serta khasiat tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Sendang Kabupaten Tulungagung menunjukkan kajian implementasi sebagai sumber belajar biologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling yang melibatkan 30 responden. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 47 spesies tumbuhan obat yang dikelompokkan ke dalam 34 famili. Cara pemanfaatannya yaitu dengan cara direbus, diseduh, dihaluskan, diparut, diperas, ditumbuk dan tanpa diolah. Dua potensi pangan yang dapat dikelola dari mangrove adalah sirup dan minuman serbuk buah mangrove. Sirup dapat dihasilkan dari jenis Sonneratia alba  yang diambil ekstraknya dan dikombinasi dengan gula, frambosen dan pewarna makanan. Serbuk mangrove dibuat dari buah mangrove jenis Rhizopora apiculata dengan cara dijemur, sangrai lalu digiling sampai halus dari bagian epikotil mangrove. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa dan uji organoleptik pada kedua buah mangrove. Metode yang digunakan ialah ekstrasi SOXHLET dan APHA untuk mengetahui kandungan karbohidrat, protein, lemak dan senyawa sianida (HCN) serta uji organoleptik yang meliputi: rasa, tekstur, aroma dan warna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan gizi yang dimiliki yaitu berupa lemak sebesar 0,26 %, protein sebesar 0,3 % dan karbohidrat sebesar 1,6 %. Sonneratia alba  dan Rhizopora apiculata memiliki kandungan HCN sebesar 16,20 ppm dan 12,70 ppm sehingga aman untuk dikonsumsi dan dapat diolah menjadi olahan pangan lainnya. LKS development uses the ADDIE development model which is modified into 4 stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation). The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing validation questionnaires which were used to test the validity of the developed product, while the response questionnaire was used to determine the responses of teachers and students to the developed product. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the results of validation by material experts and media experts on student worksheets with the help of digital mind maps get an average score of 3.51 with a very valid category. 2) Biology subject teachers' responses to student worksheets get an average score of 3.86 with a very practical category. This study aims to determine whether socio-scientific issues in biotechnology lessons Class XII Biology Textbooks used at MAN 2 Medan have met the socio-scientific quality criteria for science learning. There are five quality criteria for socio-scientific issues are authentic, relevant, evaluation, open discussion, and related to science and technology. This research is a type of descriptive research that uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation methods and providing socio-scientific issue analysis sheets. The results of this study show that there are three socio-scientific issues in biotechnology lessons in biology textbooks. An encyclopedia is a type of learning resource that contains descriptions containing knowledge and is arranged (alphabetically) or according to the scientific environment by collaborating on text and images. This study aims to describe the practicality of the Rutaceae family encyclopedia at Kebun Raya Banua. The research method used is the EDR (Educational Design Research) method with Tessmer's formative evaluation design. The one-to-one test subjects were three students and the small group test subjects were four students. The object of this research is the encyclopedia of the Rutaceae family. The results of the study show that the practicality of the content is categorized as good and the practicality of expectations is categorized as very good. Aquascape is the art of creating underwater scenery in an aquarium area. To ensure the success of creating a beauty from the art of aquascape, it takes many balance factors in the ecosystem of an aquarium. The objectives of this study include knowing whether there is an influence of pumakcal variation on the growth of Flame Moss in aquascape with poor sand media, knowing the most appropriate pumakcal variation for the growth of Flame Moss and analyzing the potential of learning resources for biology learning material for growth and development. From the results of this study, it was found that variations in pumakkal liquid fertilizer had no significant effect on the growth of flame moss plant height, and variations in pumakkal liquid fertilizer had a significant effect on water pH in flame moss plants. The variety of isolates of pumakkal fertilizer with P4 treatment which gave the best effect on the growth of flame moss plant height was the highest average of 6.88 cm. And the variation of pumakkal fertilizer isolate with P5 treatment was found to have the highest pH value of 7.4. The acceleration of educational change is oriented towards the use of technology, especially the integration of learning. Related to these changes, professional teachers are required to have competency in line with existing developments with TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) skills for the realization of quality education. This study aims to analyze the TPACK ability of prospective biology teachers. The research was conducted using a survey method in the form of self-report-measure. The research sample was 150 biology students in semesters 7 and 8 using a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed from the TPACK questionnaire created by Schmidt et al (2009) and Sahin (2001). The instrument has been tested for validity with a p-value < 0.05 and the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha > 0.05. 0.70. After the data was analyzed, the TPACK abilities of prospective biology teachers were grouped into 5 levels, namely very good, good, medium, and low. In this study, we will provide information on the use of suitable planting media for cactus (Gymnocalycium damsii) in various treatments of using growing media including compost, cocopite, roasted husks and sand, which were compared to 7 treatments. This research was conducted in October 2022 using the experimental trial method on observations made for 3 weeks. The tools used include soil testers, calipers, scales, planting media cups. The purpose of this research was to find out the use of planting media that is suitable for the growth and development of cactus (Gymnocalycium damsii). The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students which are known from the results of interviews with one of the teachers in the field of biology studies at Senior hight School 1 Sidamanik. Therefore, the CTL (Contextual Teacher And Learning) learning model with the aid of visual media is applied to plant tissue material. The method in this research is quantitative, with the type of research Pre-Experimental Design and research design One Group Pret-test-Post-test design. The study population was all students of class XI semester 1 at Senior hight School 1 Sidamanik for the academic year 2022/2023, the sample of this study was class XI IPA II, which consisted of 33 students. This study uses a test instrument to measure learning outcomes before and after the study. The test used consists of 30 questions. After completing the validity test, there are 20 valid questions and 10 invalid questions. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of students have increased. It can be seen before and after the treatment, the average value of the pre-test results an average value of 43.9. After treatment with the CTL learning model (contextualized teaching and learning), post-test scores increased by an average of 77.00. Management of organic waste must be carried out extensively, one of which is by making eco-enzymes. This study aimed to determine the production of eco-enzymes from kitchen organic waste and the characterization of eco-enzymes based on them. This type of research is an experiment with a qualitative approach. The sample used is a mixture of kitchen organic waste, namely the production and characterization of eco-enzymes which include pH, COD, BOD, TSS, and TDS. The research results obtained data on eco-enzyme production by mixing 3 components in a ratio of 1 : 3: 10 (1 part sugar, 3 parts organic kitchen waste. 10 parts water), then put into a closed container and stored in a cool, dry place, circulation air is good, and dark for 3 months.
