The second aim of the study is to examine the relationship between the students' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors towards the environment and their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors towards the environment according to the variables of gender, the environment in which the students grew up, science grade point average, education level of their mother and father and family income level. Mixed design was chosen as the method of the research. The study group of the research consists of 322 4th-grade primary school students. Data were obtained through environmental knowledge, attitude and behavior scale, and interview form. In the analysis of the data, t-test, MANOVA, Kruskal Wallis, Pearson Correlation test, and descriptive analysis were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that the students' knowledge, attitude, and behavior scores towards the environment were above average. The students' attitudes towards the environment show a significant difference according to gender, attitudes, and behaviors according to the mother's education level, knowledge, and attitudes according to the father's education level. The shift to post-earthquake emergency remote education (PERE) has also posed challenges to college students' self-regulated learning skills (SRLS). This issue has also affected students enrolled in certain programs, such as English Language Teaching (ELT). Therefore, this study aims to investigate ELT pre-service teachers’ views on the use of SRLS during the PERE period. The methodology in this research is a semi-structured interview carried out through focus group discussion and included eight junior ELT pre-service teachers at a university in the Black Sea Region in Türkiye. The researchers conducted the interview via Zoom, and qualitative content analysis was used to examine the data. The findings revealed that the majority employed SRLS efficiently in face-to-face education and even in pandemic-driven remote education, and they found it hard to achieve the same level of performance during PERE. They are not fully behaviorally, metacognitively, and motivationally self-regulated learners in PERE. The findings, thus, suggest that motivational factors, psychological distress, and the issues that cause emergency remote education can affect the effective implementation of self-regulated learning (SRL). In-service and preservice teachers must be able to use instructional technologies, develop and evaluate new materials, and have information about them. Therefore, there should be a course in which preservice teachers studying at the faculty of education can learn and apply instructional technologies in teacher training undergraduate programs. The Council of Higher Education (CoHE) has carried out studies within this framework. The council has included courses related to instructional technologies in the education faculty teacher training undergraduate programs that were developed. The \"Instructional Technologies and Material Development\" course, which was included in the teacher training undergraduate program of the faculty of education in 1998 for the first time, was named \"Instructional Technologies and Material Design\" in the new teacher training programs developed in 2007. In the revised teacher training programs dated 2018, it was named \"Instructional Technologies\". Today (2023), it continues under the name of \"Instructional Technologies\" in teacher training undergraduate programs. This study aims to examine the opinions of preservice teachers who are studying in the social studies education undergraduate program at a state university in Turkey in the 2021-2022 academic year about the \"instructional technologies\" course. The case study method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. To determine the opinions of the preservice social studies teachers selected by the convenience sampling method, a 7-question open-ended questionnaire developed by the researchers and prepared by taking the opinions of the experts in the field was used as a data collection tool. In pursuit of this objective, the study sought the perspectives of gifted students on their school environment, teachers, and peers, with a focus on the problems they encounter and their coping strategies. Participants in this study were selected using a simple random sampling method and consisted of 13 female and 13 male students attending primary and middle school levels. Data were obtained through one-on-one interviews with gifted students using semi-structured interview forms and analyzed using the descriptive content analysis method. Participants in the study expressed that they face challenges in educational settings, attributing these issues to problems related to their peer group, teachers, and the school environment. They also mentioned that they attempt to cope with these problems either by seeking support from their peers, families, and teachers or by developing individual solutions. In their ideal school experience, participants expressed the desire for the inclusion of talent-specific classes, the establishment of an equitable, social, and democratic environment, and the absence of homework and exams. In the context of the findings obtained, it is recommended that extra classes, activities, and support services tailored to the talents and interests of gifted students should be provided. Additionally, seminars and in-service training should be offered to teachers. Moreover, it is suggested that parents of gifted students and educational stakeholders receive education on giftedness, the challenges they face, and possible coping strategies. In MST, the test taker is routed to a module in the following stage based on his/her responses to the module in each stage. The test taker is expected to be routed to the module that fits his/her ability level best in the following stages. If the test taker is not routed to the module appropriate to his/her ability level, misrouting can be mentioned. Misrouting is thought to affect both measurement accuracy and the test taker's psychology. Although it is very difficult to completely eliminate misrouting, it is assumed that it can be reduced with the basic components of the MST design. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of misrouting according to different MST designs and to investigate the effects of changes in test design on the level of misrouting. The main components that are considered to affect misrouting are the MST test design [1-3, 1-2-3, 1-3-3], routing module design [Wide, Narrow], test length [12, 24, 36] and module length [L-S, M-M, S-L]. This study, which aims to reveal the current situation, is descriptive research and it was carried out by simulation method. The results of the study show that MST design and components can be effective in reducing misrouting. Three-stage MST designs offer lower misrouting and higher measurement accuracy than two-stage MST designs. Furthermore, increasing the test length and designing the routing module with a wide range of abilities reduce the misrouting rate. According to the measurement accuracy results, it can be stated that misrouting is not a significant problem in the MST in general, although the measurement accuracy of the misrouted test takers is low. To this end, a bibliometric analysis of the STEM and STEAM education studies for talented students was conducted in the SCOPUS database. The bibliometric mapping method was used in this research. In the SCOPUS database, a search was performed by using the keywords \"Gifted,\" \"Talented,\" \"STEM,\" and \"STEAM\" to filter the studies belonging to these two fields together (Access date: 22.06.2022). In the first stage of the search, 464 studies were reached. However, it was decided to analyze 124 of them, which were found to comply with research purposes, whose peer-review process was completed, and which were conducted in social studies and education. The analysis was carried out with the VosViewer program. According to the findings, an increase has been observed in studies on the subject since 2017. The highest number of publications is in the USA (n=86). While it was seen that concepts such as spatial skills, creativity, specialized schools, enrichment, and gender differences were extensively researched in STEM education for gifted students, it was determined that more research is needed on concepts such as entrepreneurship, career guidance, career interest, and e-learning. To explore this further, we conducted qualitative research to examine how preschool teachers perceive musical activities in teaching and learning. Our approach was phenomenological, which means we believe that individuals' perceptions offer evidence that the world is not as it is thought but as it is experienced. Twenty-eight preschool teachers participated in our study, and we collected data through semi-structured interviews. Our findings can be grouped into five themes and twenty-five categories: (1) proficiency in music activities, (2) materials utilized in music activities, (3) studies within the scope of music activities, (4) the status of music activity application, and (5) enhancing the quality of music activities. Most participants acknowledged feeling inadequate in music activities, which they attributed to their lack of proper education. They reported using percussion instruments and rhythm studies the most. The study group consists of 30 students, aged between 13 and 15, studying in Eskişehir province in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data of the study were collected face-to-face with the help of 16 open-ended items selected from the sample questions published in the International Student Assessment Program-PISA Reading Skills. Correlation, percentage of agreement and the Generalizability theory were used to determine inter-rater reliability. SPSS 25 was used for correlation analysis, Excel for percentage of agreement analysis, and EduG 6.1 for the Generalizability theory analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and high level of correlation between the raters, the raters showed a high level of agreement, and the reliability (G) coefficients calculated using the Generalizability theory were lower than the correlation values and percentage of agreement. In addition, it was determined that all raters showed excellent positive correlation and full agreement with each other in the scoring of the answers given to the short-answer items whose answers were directly in the text. In addition, according to the results of the Generalizability theory, it was found out that the items (i) explained the total variance the most among the main effects and the student-item interaction (sxi) explained the most among the interaction effects. The research, which was designed with the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was carried out in the province of Ankara in the 2020-2021 academic year. Two different data sets were collected in the study. The first is the study group consisting of 30 teachers working in public primary and secondary schools in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara. The second is the sample consisting of 436 teachers working in public primary and secondary schools in nine central districts of Ankara. Data were collected using a questionnaire and two scales. Excel and SPSS were used in the data analysis. The total average weekly time allocated by the classroom teachers working in public primary schools for the specified tasks was found to be 38 hours, and the branch teachers working in public secondary schools were found to be 30.9 hours. There are statistically significant relationships between teachers' perceptions of workload and work-life balance scores. The study of procrastination gains a new dimension due to changing parameters, including time perception, life uncertainties, psychological disorders, evolving conditions, emerging opportunities, and advancing technology. Although procrastination can be observed at all ages and under all conditions, it is a common behavior among university students who are undergoing a significant transition to adulthood. This study aims to investigate whether academic procrastination in university students varies based on different variables. In the study, a descriptive survey was conducted with quantitative data. The procrastination behavior tendencies of 267 university students enrolled in the central faculties of a state university in Turkey were examined. The Academic Procrastination Scale and information form including demographic questions prepared by the researchers were used as data collection tools. Since the data had normal distribution according to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, the independent groups’ t-test and ANOVA were used to determine whether there was a difference in the procrastination scores of the students based on factors and total scores according to the variables. Findings showed that the procrastination tendencies of the students differed in terms of gender, faculty, department, duration of telephone use and telephone use purposes, interest in the department, and perceptions of competence in the field. How students utilize procrastination behavior is crucial when planning activities. Parameters should be handled in accordance with age. In newer studies, causal and longitudinal studies can be conducted by incorporating various variables into the research.
