Until the mid twentieth century, the hegemony existed in the form of military imperialism. Meanwhile, in the post mid twentieth century the hegemony changed into cultural imperialism in many areas, such as social, economic, social and even art. The countries of the south world have really done some efforts to face the neo imperialism, but have not suceeded well. Therefore, more serious effort should be done to face the neo imperialism, that is the creativity to make the European and American cultural products as materials that can be creatively rearranged and matched with the local culture. In the creative process the spiritual dimension of culture should become the basis of cultural production process at present and in the future to create a fair relation. The use of spiritual dimension of culture can create new cultural products. In turn, the cultural products of the south world will exist, and finally they can be exchanged with the products of the north world. This is what China is doing with its developing economic power to balance out the domination of Europe and America. The same hopefully appears from the Islam world although it needs more serious cultural works. According to Faisal Ismail, the awakening of Islam and its culture depend on the moslem themselves and their cultural works. Masyarakat Muslim sebagai bagian dari populasi dunia selatan, secara kultural, berada dalam pengaruh hegemoni budaya non-muslim, terutama Eropa, Amerika, dan Australia sebagai bagian dari populasi dunia utara. Sampai pertengahan abad ke-20, hegemoni itu ada dalam bentuk imperialisme militer. Sementara itu, pada pertengahan abad ke-20 hegemoni berubah menjadi imperialisme budaya di banyak bidang, seperti sosial, ekonomi, sosial dan bahkan kesenian. Negara-negara di dunia selatan telah benar-benar melakukan beberapa upaya untuk menghadapi imperialisme neo, namun belum berhasil dengan baik. Karena itu, usaha yang lebih serius harus dilakukan untuk menghadapi neo imperialisme, yaitu kreativitas membuat produk budaya Eropa dan Amerika sebagai bahan yang bisa ditata ulang secara kreatif dan disesuaikan dengan budaya lokal. Dalam proses kreatif dimensi spiritual budaya harus menjadi dasar proses produksi budaya saat ini dan di masa depan untuk menciptakan hubungan yang adil. Penggunaan dimensi spiritual budaya bisa menciptakan produk budaya baru. Pada gilirannya, produk budaya dunia selatan akan ada, dan akhirnya mereka bisa dipertukarkan dengan produk-produk dari dunia utara. Inilah yang dilakukan China dengan kekuatan ekonomi yang berkembang untuk mengimbangi dominasi Eropa dan Amerika. Anderson argues that Javanese relativism should not be understood as the tolerance toward public differences by ignoring races, colors, and beliefs. In fact, Javanese relativism does not bring any effect on other ethical groups in Indonesia. Therefore, the idea of openness and tolerance which has been admired from Javanese value is just like chauvinism cultural terminology. Javanese cultural behavior still becomes a mystery as its practice of tolerance measured by the wish and propinquity to its culture. The term of tolerance which becomes a pride and an ideology for Javanese people, in fact, shows the opposite situation as the practices of religiousness are still measured by social hierarchy. This character is inseparable from what is called a rigid religious mythology. It, then, offers much particular morale structure with diverse forms. Revolusi nasional telah membawa dampak pada banyak aspek termasuk perubahan proses sinkritisme dan relativisme Jawa menjadi toleransi orang Jawa. Those values are built by human thought existing in the madrasah (school). The companionship, then, produces the thought of organization which emerges in the form of values to be believed by all members of the institution. Furthermore, those values will be the main medium to shape the culture of its educational institution. The culture then rises in many kinds of visible symbols and acts in the daily life of the educational institution. The concept of building the culture through companioning different values becomes an interesting topic to be explored through this paper. This paper also intends to explore the significance of forming and shaping the thought of organization as the way to lead a harmonious institution atmosphere. Budaya lembaga pendidikan adalah sesuatu yang dibangun dari persahabatan antara nilai-nilai yang diikuti oleh pemimpin dan yang diikuti oleh para guru dan para staf. Nilai tersebut dibangun oleh pemikiran manusia yang ada di madrasah (sekolah). Oleh karena itu, persahabatan menghasilkan pemikiran tentang organisasi yang muncul dalam bentuk nilai yang dapat dipercaya oleh semua anggota institusi. Selanjutnya, nilai tersebut akan menjadi media utama untuk membentuk budaya lembaga pendidikannya. To bring clarity to the translation of the nuanced cultural speech, including those contained in the imperative verses, often becomes an obstacle in translation. The study, which used a qualitative-evaluative approach with the design of embedded case study research, aims to reveal the clarity of the translation of imperative verses that have cultural nuance meanings. Samples were selected purposively regarding imperative verses that have specific pragmatic meanings. The clarity of the translation of the imperative verses relies on the techniques and procedures of translation applied in dealing with micro-translation units. Couplet procedure that combines literal and amplification techniques may fulfill clarity aspect in translation. Setiap bahasa mempunyai keunikan tersendiri berkat keberadaan konsep-konsep budaya yang ada di dalamnya. Dalam penerjemahan, menghadirkan ketedasan terjemahan tuturan yang bernuansa budaya, termasuk dalam ayat-ayat imperatif, seringkali menjadi kendala tersendiri. Penelitian ini, yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-evaluatif dengan desain studi kasus terpancang, bertujuan untuk mengungkap ketedasan terjemahan ayat-ayat imperatif yang bernuansa budaya. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposif berupa ayat-ayat imperatif yang memiliki makna pragmatik tertentu. Ketedasan terjemahan ayat-ayat imperatif tidak terlepas dari teknik dan prosedur penerjemahan yang diterapkan dalam menangani unit-unit mikro terjemahan. Although the socialist system is no longer popular at the global level, but in reality the Sharia Economy system is still outdone by the secularistic capitalist system. In practice, the capitalist system contains many weaknesses so that the world community began to look for other systems as a solution, namely sharia economy. In Indonesia the development system is relatively slow, so it is necessary to optimize the role of ulama and the function of local wisdom. This is the literature research with data sources from various literature and relevant issues. The results of the study show that with its authority, contemporary ulama can perform the role as a giver of fatwas, enlighteners, thinkers and economic actors. Enlightenment can be done through religious or educational events, while business practices can be conducted in pesantren by developing businesses, all of which are part and function of local wisdom. Ekonomi syariah adalah merupakan salah satu sistem ekonomi, di samping kedua sistem yang lain yakni kapitalis dan sosialis. Sekalipun sistem sosialis akhir-akhir ini tidak lagi populer di tingkat global, namun dalam kenyataan sistem ekonomi syariah masih kalah cepat dengan sistem kapitalis yang sekularistik. Dalam praktiknya, sistem kapitalis mengandung banyak kelemahan sehingga masyarakat dunia mulai mencari sistem lain sebagai solusi, yakni ekonomi syariah. Di Indonesia sistem ini perkembangannya relatif lambat sehingga perlu mengoptimalkan peran ulama dan fungsi kearifan lokal. Wacana ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dengan sumber data dari berbagai literatur dan isu yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dengan otoritasnya, ulama kontemporer dapat melakukan peran sebagai pemberi fatwa, pencerah, pemikir dan pelaku ekonomi. It was designed through a phenomenology deductive, a case study and the methodof research and development or the procedure of member check. The three of them were used eclectically in order to design an ideal formulation. The research findings indicated that the actors and actresses of poverty overcoming in Kendari City have not had the emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence yet as ESQ Power. As a result, they were not optimal in performing their duties, roles and responsibilities. Therefore, the urgency of empowerment paradigm on ESQ Power – Based that has been formulated and validated by the skillful validator must be used in the future to increase the sense of responsibility of the actor network in overcoming the pauperization and poverty. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah inovasi strategi pemberdayaan berbasis ESQ Power. Hal itu dirancang melalui deduksi fenomenologis, studi kasus serta metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau prosedur member check. Ketiganya digunakan secara eklektik untuk merancang formulasi ideal. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktor dan aktris penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kota Kendari belum memiliki kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual sebagai ESQ Power. Akibatnya, mereka tidak optimal dalam menjalankan tugas, peran dan tanggung jawabnya. The purposes of this study are to investigate the new phenomenon in the religious act, involving the change of understanding from ideals-rationality view to pragmatic-materialistic view, and to focus on the phenomenon of the emergence of new faiths in Islamic society in Indonesia. This study is aimed to answer the following questions: (1) What motives lie behind the change of religious understanding from ideals-rationality view to pragmatic-materialistic view in today's Muslim group?; (2) How does the changing process of religious understanding occur in the Muslim group?; (3) Why do religious people today tend to be pragmatic-materialistic oriented and leave the religious teachings that have been previously understood? Qualitative approach is used to examine the research questions. The research result shows that there are three kinds of typology of Muslim groups which experience a shift in religious understanding from ideality-rationality belief to pragmatic-materialistic belief. This happens because there is a gap between the quality of faith and the desire to become instantly rich. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memahami gejala new act dalam beragama yaitu fenomena pergeseran pemahaman spiritual dari idealitas-rasionalitas ke pragmatis-materialistis dalam beragama. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada fenomena munculnya kelompok-kelompok atau aliran-aliran baru dalam masyarakat Islam di Indonesia. Secara rinci penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyan berikut ini. Apa yang melatarbelakangi adanya perubahan pemahaman agama dari idealitas-rasionalitas ke pragmatismaterialistis dalam beragama masyarakat sekarang ini? Bagaimana proses perubahan keberagamaan itu terjadi pada masyarakat Islam? Mengapa umat beragama sekarang ini cenderung kepada pemahaman agama secara pragmatismaterialistis sehingga kehilangan orientasi dan meninggalkan ajaran-ajaran agama yang telah dipahami sebelumnya? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat tiga macam tipologi kelompok muslim yang mengalami pergeseran pemahaman agama dari idealitas-rasionalitas ke pragmatis-materialistis. Arabic language is a language that reflects the culture of Islam embodied in cultural rituals by servicing Allah in obedience to his orders and away from his prohibitions. Arabic language gets assurances in cultural rituals with rewards on its use for reciting the Qur’an. In many ways, religious ceremonies also often use arabic language with their virtues as well as the guardians in carrying out their dakwah to the people. Wali Songo develops dakwah based on the state of society in realizing the cultural ceremony and the using of Arabic language in it. The identity of a Muslim can be seen in religious activities and his clothes may appear visible to their senses. The use of good expressions to be guided in behaving and deepening the content of the Qur’an and al-Hadith. The role of Wali Songo in the Islamic religion in Indonesia can not be separated from the simplification of rituals built in maintaining the quality of worship which of course the nuances of Islam and its teachings must be delivered perfectly. The ritual of tahlil is one of the religious ceremonies that serves the praying of the dead who are packaged to adapt local culture such as 40 days, 100 days and so on which at present some Indonesian Muslim community do. This is supported by the Regulation of Ministry of Education and Culture Number 27 in 2016 about education services related to the belief in the One Almighty God at schools. Paguyupan Hati Suci Kasampurnan is one of penghayat groups in Cilacap which implements the teaching of budi pekerti (good behaviors) towards its adherents. This is a qualitative research examining the hidden meaning contained in the guidance book of Paguyupan Hati Suci Kasampurnan through semiotic analysis. This study results in two findings. First, the main source used at this paguyuban is Kitab Adam Makna. Second, the main teaching of this paguyuban is the teaching of good behaviors towards the adherents in order to reach the level of perfect life which is known as manunggaling kawula gusti. Di Jawa, keberadaan penghayat terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan pada awal pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo. Hal ini dikuatkan dengan terbitnya regulasi Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 27 Tahun 2016 tentang layanan pendidikan kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa pada satuan pendidikan. Paguyuban Suci Hati Kasampurnan merupakan salah satu kelompok penghayat di Cilacap yang ikut berperan aktif dalam mengimplementasikan ajaran budi pekerti kepada pemeluknya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini berupaya mengkaji makna yang tersirat dalam kitab ajaran Paguyupan Hati Suci Kasampurnan melalui analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian berupa dua temuan. Pertama, sumber ajaran Paguyuban SHK adalah Kitab Adam Makna (berupa simbol-simbol yang terdapat di jagat raya). The relationships among the trichotomy signs associated with the codes represent the horizon of the Javanese society regarding the Keris culture. All the Keris signs establish the abstracts relationship model that never has any function before being associated with the code. Principally, people who become the message recipient can perform decoding act by associating the signs with certain conventions. The expression articulation through the Keris elements is a symbol in the typology of signs. The Javanese society’s response or appreciation concerning the invented conventions needs to be investigated to conversely understand the system of signs production. The word kris, as an example, is semiotically classified into other words; keris, dhuhung, dhuwung, curiga, wangkingan, duwung, curiga, and katga, all of which refers to the same sign, which is the tipped stabbing weapons and covered in scabbard. This study found the cultural event of the ideological masking which represents certain period i.e. the deconstructive meanings on the luk of keris (kemba and rengkol) illustrated the ideological transformation from Hinduism to Islamic era. Dalam mengartikulasikan unsur visual Keris kita dihadapkan dengan konsep simbol, di mana setiap simbol sesuai dengan tipologi tanda-tanda. Hubungan antara trikotomi tanda-tanda yang terkait dengan kode mewakili cakrawala masyarakat Jawa tentang budaya Keris. Semua tanda-tanda Keris membangun hubungan abstrak model yang tidak akan pernah memiliki fungsi apapun sebelum dikaitkan dengan kode. Pada prinsipnya orang yang menjadi sasaran penyampaian pesan bisa melakukan decoding dengan cara mengaitkan tanda-tanda pada keris dengan konvensi-konvensi tertentu. Artikulasi ekspresi melalui unsur-unsur dalam Keris memanfaatkan simbol-simbol dalam tipologi tanda. Respons maupun apresiasi orang Jawa terkait dengan konvensi-konvensi yang telah diciptakan para leluhur perlu diketahui untuk melihat secara terbalik dalam sistem produksi tanda. Pemaknaan kata kris misalnya, secara Semiotis dapat diklasifikasikan berdasarkan beberapa kata referensial di antaranya keris, dhuhung, dhuwung, curiga, wangkingan, duwung, curiga, dan katga semua menunjukkan petanda yang sama yaitu senjata tikam yang berhulu dan berwarangka.
