The research method used was quantitative research. Data were obtained through a questionnaire given to students of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This leads us to an assumption that there are character education values which characterize Minangkabau ethnic group which is believed to be true and the existence of the values is still maintained. Therefore, an analysis was carried out to discover character values contained in folk tales (legends) with lawlessness theme in the Minangkabau tribe. In addition, the analysis is also carried out to see how the story contributes to the process of strengthening the nation's character education. Content analysis research techniques in qualitative paradigm were used to analyze the folklore text with lawlessness theme. From the folklore text, eleven values were identified which is believed to be true and their existence is still maintained by Minangkabau tribe community. The design can be applied to students in senior high schools and determine the Effectiveness of the implementation of character education models of Local wisdom \"Tau Jalan Nan Ampek\" values in shaping the Character of students in high school. The type of research was R&D by using ADDIE development models, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection instruments are in the form of observation sheets and questionnaires. The experts have validated the product. Then the researcher tested it on the high school students in Batusangkar. The research used a questionnaire to obtain quantitative data and used observations, responses, and suggestions to improve writing to obtain qualitative data. The practicality of the character-learning model of local wisdom values \"Tau Jalan Nan Ampek\" is determined based on experts, teachers, and students' responses to this model's practicality and Effectiveness. This model is determined from the results of an extended trial. Data validity and practicality were analyzed using the formula of respondents' total achievements, and Effectiveness was analyzed used an experimental t-test. The results of this research found that the character model of learning \"Tau Jalan Nan Ampek\" by producing products in the form of model books, teacher books, and student books. These cases also demanding there should be the leadership referring to the embodiment of Tridharma of university.Research method of this study used qualitative descriptive. It respondents were the head and the secretary of the study program. And questionnaire is used as instrument. The result of this research foundthat effectiveness of leadership study program was generally placed at a very good and good level.It could be shown of the achievement of educational and learning goals, research, and society dedication. Fulfill needed leadership achievements with knowledgeof duties, responsibilities, and completing tasks properly. Fulfill of needs superiors and subordinates was done by fostering a harmonious relationship with superiors, accepting and carrying out tasks given by superiors, and responding well to suggestions from lecturers and students. The research design used was a quasi-experimental form of the non-equivalent control group. The population in this study consisted of class VIII students at SMP N 1 Uram Jaya, Lebong Regency, in the 2017/2018 school year. This study took two classes out of five classes having the same ability known from the pre-test scores, with a sample of 25 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. Data collection techniques included interviews, tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted through a t-test. The results of the hypothesis test of students' learning outcomes with calculations using the independent samples t-test formula through the SPSS version 20 program showed that t count was 11.637 > t table which was 1.677. It means that Ho was rejected and there was a significant difference. The contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model assisted by Information and Communications Technology (ICT) can overcome this. The purpose of this research was to determine students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through ICT- assisted CTL learning. This is a quasi-experimental research with a total population of 1083 students of SMA N 2 Padang. A sample of 100 students who were selected through a simple random sampling technique, each of which was fifty students for the experimental group and the control group. The studies device changed into a take a look at of mathematical problem-fixing abilities. Data have been analyzed the use of covariance analysis. The result of this research is that high school students who are taught with ICT-assisted contextual learning models are able to solve problems correctly. Meanwhile, students who learn through conventional models have difficulty solving mathematical problems. Inggrida","doi":"10.2991/assehr.k.201209.204","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2991/assehr.k.201209.204","url":null,"abstract":"The aims of the present study are threefold: (1) portray the parenting style in early childhood in the families, (2) analyze gender issues in early childhood education in villages, in lower and upper-class communities, and (3) formulate a model of early childhood education with a gender perspective and social inclusion. Following the survey method with focus group discussion and in-depth studies, the study involved 8 Early Childhood School in East-Java Province, nine schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and ten schools in West- Java. After analyzing the data, this study arrived at some interpretative points. The points are: (a) character education implemented was appropriate to Early Childhood Curriculum, consists of principal characters and additional characters qualified the school, (b) The parenting style in urban and rural areas show the same pattern which is dominated by authoritative parenting patterns-giving choices to children to decide on something, and (c) the disparity exists in the socio-economic classes that parents treat the children differently, particularly pertinent to freedom of play and an impact on self-reliance. The gender issue in early childhood education, it is argued that learning values do not discriminate between boys and girls. Male students are more active, dominating the classroom, whereas female students tend to be shy. All early childhood education principals are women, and teachers are almost all women. The Character Education Model applied in early childhood education has not yet depicted gender and social inclusion perspective to accept and to attend children with special needs. The findings lead to the possibility to formulate the Logic Model of Early Childhood Character Education based on Gender Perspective and Social Inclusion. The proposed model has taken into account the educational input, teacher and manager resources, curriculum, and learning processes. Observations were made to see the application of honest character in the daily lives of foster children. The learning media model will be designed using the Macromedia Flash CS6 application and supporting software for character creation, animation, combining music, and narration to become a unit of learning media. The development of beauty design learning media goes through three stages that adopt the media development model from Alessi and Trollip, namely planning, design, and development. Product validation was carried out at the alpha test stage involving two media experts and two material experts. Meanwhile, the beta test involved six students. This study's results, namely the learning media developed, were considered suitable for use in learning in terms of media, material, and student assessments.
