{"title":"O trabalho de cuidado no sindicato das trabalhadoras domésticas de Pelotas, RS","authors":"Mateus Cordenonsi Bonez, Jurema Brites","doi":"10.5902/2236672537558","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5902/2236672537558","url":null,"abstract":"O objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre as práticas cotidianas observadas no Sindicato das Trabalhadoras Domésticas de Pelotas-RS.  A partir de uma etnografia destacamos questões pouco analisadas na bibliografia sobre sindicalismo no âmbito do trabalho doméstico: o quanto as interações os atendimentos e as reuniões são recorrentemente permeados por relações de cuidado entre as diretoras sindicais e as mulheres que buscam auxílio. Nestas interações a trajetória histórica das militantes, bem como as experiências de gênero, de classe e raça vividas pelas próprias sindicalistas, fazem com que o momento dramático de rescisões de contratos, disputas com os patrões ultrapassem o estilo burocrático, não se limitando aos processos formais inerentes aos propósitos do sindicato. Efforts to measure the emotional implications of reproductive work are part of a process of denaturalization of the same and, for this reason, it went hand in hand with efforts to measure domestic work itself (who does what at home). It was selected articles published in journals collection of SciELO electronic library, from 1994 to 2017. The data are related to 29 articles, written by 85 authors and published in 15 journals distributed in three areas of knowledge (Health Sciences, Human Sciences, and Applied Social Sciences) and qualified in Sociology area in CAPES. As a result, most of the publications are in the Health area and result from theoretical-empirical investigations, carried out by women, in the following themes: care in the long-term institutions, care in Nursery, family care/caregivers, increasing in the number of caregivers, invisibility of the elderly and caregivers, and care at the end of life and self-care. Despite having become synonymous with female isolation, the domestic space has over the years been organized and governed by the women themselves. Thus, becoming a locus of knowledge, even if not evident. This article deals specifically with sewing know-how and the aspects that make it invisible in the world of work. For this, we approach the process of regulating the seamstress profession in a dialogue with the narratives of the interlocutors and the theories developed in the socio-anthropological scope of the trades and professions. Among the aspects that subject such know-how to the informal scope, we observe that the intermittent task of caring is an important starting point to understand this universe. {"title":"Linguagens emotivas de guerra e paz: projetos espíritas de promoção de uma Cultura da Paz.","authors":"Amanda Gomes Pereira","doi":"10.5902/2236672537011","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5902/2236672537011","url":null,"abstract":"In Rio de Janeiro, in the last decades, secular and religious projects were developed as alternatives for promoting a Culture of Peace. This article presents an account of the articulations made by a group of several victims’ relatives affected by urban violence. The group forms a Spiritism network, with its own means of expression and peace practices that reject the war, hatred and vengeance. Death and suffering are interwoven in these people’s lives, prompting a circuit of emotions in different dimensions. The data presented is the result of a PhD research carried out between 2010 and 2014 at the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Here are narrated stories from families whose children were violently murdered, and, after contact with psychographed messages, they started to look for peace, benevolence and forgiveness, thus making new senses for loss.
