En plus de ses objectifs déclarés, on essaie de comprendre comment les arbitraires, les préjugés et les stigmatisations sont construits autant dans la relation entre les agents publiques et les bénéficiaires que dans le contexte d’interaction des bénéficiaires avec leur voisinage. La base méthodologique repose sur 70 entretiens qui ont été conduits avec trois grands groupes : les familles bénéficiaires (femme responsable légale, conjoint/compagnon et adolescents), les acteurs institutionnels (agents sociaux, agents de santé, enseignants, coordinateur de la Bolsa Família et personnel du bureau d’inscription) et les voisins (non bénéficiaires de la Bolsa Família qui ont pourtant la même situation socio-économique). La recherche a été réalisée dans une périphérie de la région métropolitaine de Rio de Janeiro. On y a parcouru plusieurs lieux fréquentés par les bénéficiaires comme : écoles, postos de saúde, coordination de la Bolsa Família et le secteur d’inscription, Centre de Référence d’Assistance Sociale (CRAS) et restaurant populaire.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"76 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72550651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rosa Luxemburg had already spoken, in the Junius Brochure of 1915, of socialism or barbarism. But Bensaid’s approach goes further. His rereading of Marx, in the light of Blanqui, Benjamin and Charles Peguy, led him to conceive of history as a series of branches and bifurcations, a field of possibilities where the class struggle occupies a decisive place, but whose outcome is unpredictable. Refractory to the causal course of ordinary facts, the revolution is an interruption. It is not guaranteed by the “laws of history” and must be the subject of a bet, in the Pascalian sense, reviewed and corrected by the Marxist Lucien Goldmann, himself reviewed and corrected by the Marxist Daniel Bensaid.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"10 1","pages":"45-54"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44778218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using the deductive repertoire, and based on the textual revision by the militant-philos opher, the article (i) demonstrates how the theme of Human Rights crosses the work of Bensaid, marked by the conjuncture and artic ulating with other great themes of his life, exposing the elementary bases of his formulation; (ii) it shows how much Human Rights are perceived in his work as an unfinished bourgeois promise, which demand its recognition as a progressive, at the same time limited, landmark of the political dispute in modernity; (iii) highlights how it manifested itself in the course of the French Revolution in particular with regard to non-owners, enslaved and women; also signaling (iv) the way in which at different socio-historical moments the defense of Human Rights is instrumentalized as a way of imperialist affir mation, demanding particular and careful approaches in contem porary times, especially in view of the escalation of what he called “ethical war”.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"10 1","pages":"103-144"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46268167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since then, he became one of the main voices of french radical left, while maintaining a singular intellectual presence, that had always transcended the lines of his political association. The article will problematize some of the fundamental moments of the political and intellectual itinerary of Daniel Bensaid’s youth, namely, from the 1960’s till the second half of the 1980’s. It is a period of his trajectory that is not well known and is decisive to understand the Benjaminian turning point by which he would go through in the late 1980’s. Although under the limits of the militant perspective , it is possible to observe in his writings from this time an outline of some of the traits that would be central in his reflexions, notably from 1989 and on, when he became a recognized intellectual in french society, beyond the public linked to the radical left.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"10 1","pages":"55-78"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46147704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To this end, the case of MAN Latin America, a Volkswagen Group company that markets trucks and buses of both MAN and Volkswagen brands, is presented. Its plant, located in the municipality of Resende, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, was built from the modular consortium model. This article seeks to demonstrate how there is a division of labor for which the parts supplier companies are directly responsible for the manufacturing of the vehicles, while MAN Latin America focuses on information control, marketing, design, research and development (R&D) and, at the intersection of these activities, brand management. Such a division seems to be part of the reconfiguration trend of global production networks (GPN) whereby the concentration of brands, intellectual property and other intangible assets are increasingly important for capitalist accumulation.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"10 1","pages":"216-262"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43304000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over time, care for the elderly has been characterised by strong hierarchical relationships that implied vulnerabilities and social, economic, age and gender inequalities. This hierarchy tends to undermine the people who, depending on the relationship established, either give or receive the care. Moreover, academic approaches to care have given priority to questions related to work – more specifically, domestic work – and the provision of educational, health or aesthetic services. The thoughts we put forward here aim to deepen the topic of care as possible and necessary ethos and praxis that go beyond social relationships and that have the territory of proximity as the original, dialectic and meeting point.","PeriodicalId":30987,"journal":{"name":"Seculo XXI Revista de Ciencias Sociais","volume":"9 1","pages":"820-853"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46749595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
