Representaciones sociales de cuidado infantil y género: una propuesta de tipología

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the social representations about child care in Uruguay from a gender perspective through the elaboration of a typology on “ideal care”. This article aims to address a dimension little discussed in the feminist care literature: those interpretative and guiding principles of practices, that is, social representations, understood as norms, values, stereotypes, that the population has about the acceptable and legitimate in child care terms.
