Conflitos desiguais: homens e mulheres na articulação casa - trabalho no Brasil

Abstract

Reproductive work, here understood as carrying out domestic tasks and caring for dependents, can be read from ambivalence: affection and tiredness. Efforts to measure the emotional implications of reproductive work are part of a process of denaturalization of the same and, for this reason, it went hand in hand with efforts to measure domestic work itself (who does what at home). The article aims to analyze the record of fatigue of men and women with the articulation of paid work with reproductive work in Brazil, based on data from surveys on “Gender, work and family” carried out in Brazil in 2003 and 2016.
