The accumulated base allows to\u0000 use and develop the newest methods in archaeological science– creation of models of\u0000 ceramic products and their fragments, restoration of an integral form of a productand\u0000 metrological researches of models, creation of a full form of a product from even small\u0000 fragments. The processing program builds a model with preservation of all natural\u0000 proportions and the sizes, that allows to carry out exact digital metrological\u0000 measurements. You can also export orthophotos of theartifact in any projection. With the\u0000 help of markers the program measures the object, allows to do it inplaces that are\u0000 difficult to measure in the laboratory on a natural artifact. The 3D-editor allows to\u0000 crosssections of the artifact and its profiles. The program calculates the area of the\u0000 polygons of the createdmodel – the area of the artifact, which can be useful in certain\u0000 studies. The volume of the ceramic materialof the model can be also calculated. This\u0000 information will allow us to introduce into archaeological sciencea new indicator for\u0000 the characteristics of utensils, namely the density (g/cm3) of ceramic material. Withthe\u0000 help of a 3D model, it became possible to measure the internal useful volume of the\u0000 vessel. The digital programs can reproduce a virtual whole shape of the vessel without\u0000 the physicalrestoration of the artifact itself, copying parts of the product and\u0000 replacing them with missing parts. Inaddition, the 3D-editor allows to create a model of\u0000 the artifact, even on the basis of a small fragment of it.

The article reviews the earthenware of 9th-17th\u0000 centuries from the archaeological excavations in1977–1993 on the Upper Castle of\u0000 Vitebsk. During the researches about 10 000 fragments, 20 wholeand restored vessels have\u0000 been collected. All pottery can be divided into two big chronological groups. The first\u0000 group includes the pottery of 9th–13th centuries, the second one – of the 14th–17th\u0000 centuries. As per their purpose there are kitchenware, dinnerware and container ware.The\u0000 dishes of 9th century are exclusively represented by the kitchenware. Once there was a\u0000 pot whichprobably served for transportation of food. All the pots are stucco ones; they\u0000 have direct analogues amongthe vessels of those times as the Krivichs had. The pottery\u0000 of the 10th century is ceramic, it has rich decorin the form of multi-row waves and\u0000 lines. The volume of some vessels is 300 grams. The analogues of thepottery are spread\u0000 on all the territory of the Polotsk and Smolensk lands. The pottery of the 11th\u0000 centuryis thin-walled; it had a cuff from the outer side of the corolla. This type of\u0000 the pottery is known practicallyin all monuments of the Kievan Rus. The pottery of the\u0000 12th-13th centuries is more various. Except thekitchen pots occasionally clay pans,\u0000 roasters and dishes can be met and pot lids are known. Up to 8 typesof the corolla\u0000 decoration of the kitchen pots have been highlighted. The author has accumulated and organized clay finds that have agricultural\u0000 symbols in the article. The material is represented by products from the Neolithic\u0000 period, when pottery was originated and, accordingly, ornamentation and technologies\u0000 began to develop. There are two categories of artefacts: objects with agricultural\u0000 images; products with added grains ofcultivated plants. Products with images are\u0000 represented by household items: utensils and spindles. Thereare both primitive realistic\u0000 images and abstract symbols that are interpreted as agricultural. Clay was used not only as a\u0000 raw material for pottery, but also in building craft. The Siverianspotters were at a\u0000 stage marked by the use of clay as the main ascending raw material, and the amount\u0000 ofnon-plastic impurities decreased. The addition of impurities was necessary, as\u0000 prepared for the formationof pure clay is quite oily and has a large shrinkage.\u0000 Impurities improved ductility, prevented shrinkage, improved drying, firing and\u0000 performance of pottery. This fully applies to sand, hardness and fireclay. The most\u0000 common impurity used by Siverians was grog. These were mostly coarse-grained\u0000 impurities. They often contributed to the formation of cracks in the walls of the vessel.\u0000 In addition to grog, there arecases of adding grus and sand, but their concentration is\u0000 lower compared to grog. Розглянуто ефект\u0000 мультиплікаціїв оздобленні глиняного посуду означеного періоду. The era of light\u0000 chariots with wheels on spokes drawn by horses was the prologue to the\u0000 epoch-makingchanges in the transition to the Late Bronze Age. It can be assumed that the\u0000 contemplation of the rapidmovement of wheels on spokes gave almost the first idea of the\u0000 effect of multiplication in the societies ofSteppe cattlemen. The vortex effect of the\u0000 rotational movement of the wheel led to the image of the swastika,i.e. the sacred symbol\u0000 of the Aryan chariots. The rotation of the swastika mounted on the axle creates\u0000 anoptical effect of the wheel on the spokes. It was recorded in cases when the swastika\u0000 was inscribed fromthe outside in the circle of the bottom of the pot. The effect was\u0000 enhanced when the vessel (cup) had abase, and the circle of the base together with the\u0000 swastika was even more harmoniously associated withthe rim of the wheel. Rotating the\u0000 cup in an upside down position on a mobile stand allows you to achievethe effect of\u0000 animation in the context of the ritual. The era of unprecedented speeds gave impetus to\u0000 thecreation of new dynamic spectacles. Among them were acrobatic games with a bull,\u0000 artistically embodiedin the frescoes of the Minos Palace on the island of Crete and\u0000 other examples of Cretan and MycenaeanArt. Episodes of this game have been recorded in\u0000 the ancestral homeland of the Mycenaean rulers inthe steppes of Eurasia and in the South\u0000 Caucasus, in particular petroglyphs of Gobustan, pictograms onceramics and metal.
