It, therefore, examines how the visual typicality of Jeju-do has been created. The period suggested by this study was an inflection point in which the economy and culture of it were changed and the government-led tourist policy for transforming Jeju-do into a destination which is attractive enough to be called the ‘Oriental Hawaii’ was developed. \u0000The tourist image produced in the period was successful in promoting Jeju-do as an exotic island. The most prominent characteristics of such tourist photos, however, is that they continuously and repeatedly use the same material. Such images have formed the typicality of Jeju-do, as they have been actively used until a recent time in explaining Jeju-do. \u0000In conclusion, it would show how Jeju-do is visually perceived, as the tourist industry is changed, by analyzing the stereotyped tourist images of Jeju-do by each period, which are printed in Jeju-do’s tourist brochures and tourist photo albums. It aims to describe them as a field in which images can be exchanged, beyond visual materials for tourism.

In the 19th century, as Jeju people also participated in the construction of stone sculptures led by Jeju pastors, Rock cliff carvings continued to be built in Jeju until the early 20th century. \u0000In terms of historical records, these Rock cliff carvings built in the Jeju area in the late Joseon Dynasty show a special governance system in the Jeju area during the Joseon Dynasty, when Jeju pastors had to supervise and control two prefectures of Daejeong and Jeongui according to their duties as observers. Second, it reflects the political and social image of the times in the Jeju area in the late Joseon Dynasty. \u0000Third, it shows one side of Joseon's civilian policy based on Confucianism. Fourth, it shows the process of land culture entering, spreading, and settling in the Jeju area.

However, Gangjeong Village in Seogwipo-si has ‘Keunnae(Gangjeong River)’ and ‘Akeunnae(Akgeun River)’ that flow all year round, and large and small springs spring up, so it is blessed with natural conditions for rice farming. Therefore, Gangjeong Village was nicknamed ‘Ilgangjeong(Best Gangjeong)’. In Gangjeong, there are many stories about water that are hard to find in other areas of Jeju Island. \u0000In particular, Gangjeong-Rice and Gangjeong-Sweetfish are things that anyone from that village can be proud of. However, from the late 1980s, Gangjeong Village began to decline. With the construction of a water intake plant in Gangjeong and the development of groundwater, too much groundwater is being drawn up. As a result, the output of spring water sharply decreased and the price of rice plummeted, making rice farming less competitive. \u0000Now, Gangjeong-Rice and Gangjeong-Sweetfish, which were representative of Gangjeong, are left only as stories, and the work songs that were sung while farming rice remain only as lyrics. The stories about water in Gangjeong Village are the main ecological and cultural heritage of Jeju Island, where water was scarce. Before it is too late, it is necessary to restore the old appearance of Gangjeong and make it an Eco Museum. \u0000The water-themed ecological museum will serve as a foundation for preserving and transmitting the water cultural heritage of Ilgangjeong, raising the income of local residents by using local products, and will greatly contribute to restoring the divided village community

Since its introduction in 2002, the Jeju Investment Promotion District has been evaluated to have succeeded in attracting 7.6 trillion won in investment over 20 years, thanks to support such as unprecedented taxation. And it also exposed many problems such as abuse of tax benefits and land arbitrages. Past studies have mainly focused on improving the framework of the system to prevent these problems. This study looked for improvement plans by analyzing the current status of each region, investment amount, and industry in the investment promotion district and the types of business sectors of which designation has been lifted. Literature research method using literature data as that of local government, previous research papers and media contents was used. As a result of the study, there is relatively more investment in the west than the east, so it is necessary to induce more investment in the east in the future. The cancellation rate of designation of mega business sectors such as comprehensive recreation business was high, so it was necessary to reduce it through much more intensive management. In addition, there were many cases of Investment District Cancellation and land arbitrages, which included many comprehensive recreation business sectors. So it was necessary to prevent it through elaborate management.

As a result, a total of 330 taxa including 102 families, 220 genera, 322 species, 2 variants, and 6 varieties were identified. Among them, the percentage of the scientific names at the time of publication corresponding with the accepted names at present accounts for mere 51.2%, 169 taxa including 29 taxa of the alien species. The recently published as unrecorded in Korea, includes native species such as Microsorum buergerianum (Miq.) Ching, Viola grypoceras A. Gray var. pubescens Nakai, Stellaria sessiliflora Y. Yabe, Achyranthes longifolia (Makino) Makino as well as alien species such as Erigeron strigosus Muhl. In addition, the species that have not yet been identified on Jeju Island were 9 taxa including Cheilanthes argenta Kunze. The number of unrecorded species in Korea but distributed in Japan, Chine, etc. amounts to 28 taxa including Deparia acrostichoides (Sw.) M. Kata, which are assumed to inhabit Jeju Island or appear to be in error in identification. The results of re-establishing the list of native plants on Jeju Island announced by Jong-Hyu Bu through the current plant taxonomy are considered to be of high value in forming the knowledge of the species distributed on Jeju Island.

It was performed for 8 months from April to November 2020, and a total of 16 investigations were performed twice a month. Mushrooms collected through the investigations were identified through the macroscopic characteristics and nucleotide sequencse analysis of the nuclear ribosome ITS region. As a result of the investigation, a total of 17 families, 25 genera, and 33 species of mushrooms were investigated. When examining the pattern of occurrence by family, the Polyporaceae accounted for the largest proportion with 7 species, followed by Hymenogastraceae with 3 species. In this investigation, no climate-sensitive biological indicator species were observed, and 10 biological resources that need to approve for overseas export were observed. In addition, Flammulina filiformis, which has not been officially reported in South Korea, was also observed. In this study, we described the morphological characteristics and phylogenetic tree analysis results and suggest the korean name of the mushrooms.

At that time, Jeju was a representative region showing the expansion of secondary schools. During the Japanese colonial period, there were only two regular middle schools, but by 1949, the number of regular middle schools increased to ten. This indicates that the inherent demand of Jeju-do residents for secondary education surfaced immediately after liberation and the meaning of changes in secondary education can be determined through the aspects of school establishment. \u0000Immediately after liberation, secondary schools in Jeju showed the aspects of reorganization from non-regular private middle schools to regular middle schools. The rapid increase in the number of middle schools in Jeju area after 1945 was made possible due to the internal sympathy of local community for the expansion of secondary education. After the second half of 1946, the administrative organizations expanded and the institutionalization of middle schools was carried out with the implementation of the Jeju-do provincial system and the U. S. military government’s new school system. At that time, the reorganization of the system into regular schools enabled not only the administrative authorities to strengthen the administrative power, but also made it easy for students with academic background of secondary school to enter into higher education or get a job. Many middle schools established immediately after liberation were gradually reorganized into regular middle schools in the system, which became the foundation of secondary schools in Jeju.

To achieve the purpose of the study, AHP and IPA research methods were used. Data was collected from 20 parties of community-based tourism, including local residents and merchants of Sehwa village in Jeju. The result of AHP analysis showed that the most important determinant was participation, followed by partnership, and institutionalization. Additionally, there appeared to be differences in the importance of the results of governance factors between the local people and tourism business operators. As a result of the IPA, unremitting maintenance was required for the ‘responsibility’ and ‘role sharing’, and the ‘professionalism’ needed improvement of community-based tourism governance. These findings will provide local community-based tourism policymakers and activists with practical implications for developing local community-based tourism.
